One of the better state parks to camp at. Lots of hiking trails. I would recommend the oak ridge campground lots more room and your not too close to the neighbors. The restrooms are clean and within walking distance.

Lakeview and Oak Grove are two completely different campgrounds. Do not choose at random! Oak Grove for the most part has the typical State Park feel. Sites are very spread out, some are very private and shady, others sunny and grassy. I would avoid 103E. Not level, rather small. The whole campground is pretty quiet . The outhouse near 120E is probably the nicest outhouse I've ever been in. It seemed new, no odor, automatic sanitizer dispenser. Lakeview sites are lined up rather densely for a state park. Enough trees for shade, but not privacy. Definitely avoid sites 70-74. They are just a few feet from the dump station! Those sites should not exist imo. 74 is especially small, steep incline. Good for a small tent only. But again, it's very close to the dump station, though not as bad as 70-73. Lakeview was definitely the more crowded campground as it's near the beach, boat launch, fishing pier, etc . The showers: You can actually control the temperature, although one time is was cold regardless. Also nice is that you can turn them on and off. No button to push.

Site 126e. In OakRidge campground. The sites in the oakridge campground are much more secluded and private. There is much more wilderness between sites. We even saw a deer from a site. The camp hosts made sure to stop by and introduce them selves. It is a long winding road to get into the site area so be prepared on the way in (or out depending on where your site is in the loop.) Bike trail was very nice. Lake view campground was much closer to the beach, but much, much more crowded. The dump station was also in the second campground area. The second pictures are along the bike trail. Great park!

The walking/hiking trails are very nice and offer some beautiful views. The swim beach is clean and the lake has a nice firm bottom. In the Lakeview Campground, there is no direct path thru the campground to the shower room so more people cut thru occupied sites than any campground that I have ever been to. They were all respectful and quick about it so it really was not that big of a deal. But if that is something that bothers you it would be best to avoid the sites directy to the left of the shower room on the map.

Great place to camp. Campsites are pretty heavily wooded and private in Oak Ridge. Plenty of hiking trails one of our favorite being the hike to Mount Tom. Great views from Mount Tom especially with fall colors. There is a lake with a beach and a nice boat ramp and dock. Plenty of fish in the lake too. The park sells ice and firewood and there are two gas stations within a couple miles for necessities.

Came here to fish from the pier, way too shallow. Campsites are on top of each other. The grounds are very nice and clean. Very family friendly. This is a beautiful state park!

Awesome park that has a lot to offer. Great campgrounds, camper cabins, swim beach, day use area. Good trails with hiking/biking and horseback riding. Well paved roads that lead to good views and vistas. Place has an interpretive center and an easy hike to Mount Tom overlook. Also, maybe the best modern group camp in the state.

Some of the sites are not level at all. Nice park over all. We will be back but will stay in the oak ridge.

Sibley state Park is one of our favorite places. We love the beach and all the trails it has to offer! The sign is basic which I wish it was more fun since we take photos by the park entrance but that's ok. We stayed at the campground farther away from the beach and we LOVE it. Seclude and well in the woods. Some spots are not as much but for majority it is like that. We came back to this park. This last time we saw so much wildlife, the visitor center we liked to hang out by. Sit by the pond, and we found lots of berries. Sibleys beach was so much fun, spent days there. It does have lots of seaweed but we're able to find spots that didn't have it. There is a spot where dogs can play too off to the side of the pier where people are not. So much more you explore too

Biking and snowshoeing. 4 stars for lack of disc golf course. They could make a world class course on this property in some of the lesser used areas of the park.

I’ve been to most state parks. This one is very pretty. We love Lake Andrew. The lower rating is due to the lack of trail maintenance. I’ve been here summer, fall, & winter. Fall: Trails closed without much notice forcing us to walk on the interstate is dangerous especially for pups. Winter: No trails well maintained to walk anywhere. We ended up leaving.

Campsite was fantastic we ordered group site 1 and unfortunately another party moved into the site before we got there. This is totally against policy but the party informed me that because they had a handicap persons the park ranger authorized this which we found out later was not the case she simply lied to get a better spot but the spot she was supposed to be in was sufficient for our family.. with most of the park road accessible campsites could be much easier marked on maps or other apps.

I was here as a child and had fond memories of the Lakeview Campground and fishing on Lake Andrew. As an adult, I went beyond the bounds of parental supervision and hiked up to Mount Tom. It was a great workout and you're rewarded with a spectacular view.

First time here. Love our site. The beach is awesome for kids. The cottonwoods were "snowing" & the weather was perfect.

Bathrooms and showers are very nice, clean and working well. Many campsites in the Woodland campground are nice and quiet and more private

It was our second time camping at Sibley State Park for my husband and I. We stayed at Lakeview last summer and Oak Ridge last week. Oak ridge campsites are more spaced out and private. We kayaked both times and enjoyed the new paved bike path, very good 👍

We enjoyed this park. We stayed in the Oakridge campground vs the Lakeview. It is farther away from the lake but definitely less crowded so a preference for us. This is a large park so you do accept the fact that you may prefer to drive to some of the various features. This is an outstanding park for biking and they have a new gorgeous trail not even on the map yet. We also loved Mt. Tom. What is also nice is that it is so accessible with a short hike from a parking lot that little ones, older folks and the out of shape can enjoy the views too.

A gorgeous park! Be careful about which campsite you book in the Lakeview Campground. Some of them are on a hillside and dangerously unlevel. Also, there was no hot water in the shower house at the time we were visiting. The kids enjoyed the swimming beach, learning about Mt. Tim, and hiking the trails.
