Horsley
Hills
is
a
hill
station
in
Andhra
Pradesh
and
a
great
weekend
getaway
from
Bengaluru,
situated
at
a
height
of
approximately
1290
meters
above
sea
level.
The
weather
is
always
pleasant,
with
early
mornings
and
evenings
being
the
most
enjoyable
and
calming,
and
locals
are
very
helpful
with
maps.
The
government
needs
to
pay
more
attention
to
maintain
the
place
better.
Riding
through
the
nearby
villages
is
a
great
experience
with
vegetable
and
flower
farms
on
either
side
of
the
road.
The
road
leading
to
the
hill
is
narrow
and
requires
careful
driving.
It
is
best
to
visit
early
in
the
morning
before
7
am
to
enjoy
the
cool
weather
and
spectacular
views.
There
is
a
restaurant
run
by
most
of
the
people
on
the
top,
but
the
local
roadside
food
joints
serving
tea,
coffee,
and
snacks
are
better
than
the
restaurant.
Public
facilities
such
as
washrooms
are
available,
but
they
are
not
up
to
the
mark.
One
must
be
cautious
of
their
belongings,
especially
food
items,
as
many
monkeys
roam
freely
in
the
area.
There
are
many
interesting
places
to
visit
and
enjoy
with
friends.
