Horsley Hills is a hill station in Andhra Pradesh and a quick weekend gateway trip from Bengaluru is at a height of around 1290 m above sea level.Best place to hang out, weather is always soothing, early mornings are most pleasant and evening is most relaxing, local people around are most helpful to guide maps.Government can maintain this much better with a little attention. Ride through the villages are too good and you can find vegetables and flower farms on both sides.

If you're looking for a weekend getaway or an all nighter drive to this place for a look at the sun at it's outset, then you may as well give it a try. During peak summertime, the place is peaceful combined with cool breeze at around sunrise and continues to be so for an hour after that. It was a sweet 24 °c for us starting from 5:11 am. For a serenine experience be at the location way before first light, you'll get a chance to listen to the wake up calls of many birds and animals.

This is a small hillock in the outskirts of Madanapalli giving a nice view of the height. The road to this hill is narrow and needs careful driving. Most of them visit on Late morning Try to reach there before 7Am and get a good view & cool wheather There is a restaurant on the top run by most of them. There are some local roadside food joints serving tea/ coffee and snacks which are better than the restaurant. Public utilities (washrooms) are there but not up to mark . There are lot of monkeys roaming around freely in the area, so take care of your belongings specially the food items. We will find some many Intersting places to enjoy with frnds

Horsley Hills is a hill station in Andhra Pradesh and a great weekend getaway from Bengaluru, situated at a height of approximately 1290 meters above sea level. The weather is always pleasant, with early mornings and evenings being the most enjoyable and calming, and locals are very helpful with maps. The government needs to pay more attention to maintain the place better. Riding through the nearby villages is a great experience with vegetable and flower farms on either side of the road. The road leading to the hill is narrow and requires careful driving. It is best to visit early in the morning before 7 am to enjoy the cool weather and spectacular views. There is a restaurant run by most of the people on the top, but the local roadside food joints serving tea, coffee, and snacks are better than the restaurant. Public facilities such as washrooms are available, but they are not up to the mark. One must be cautious of their belongings, especially food items, as many monkeys roam freely in the area. There are many interesting places to visit and enjoy with friends.

Horsely hills situated in the madanapalle taluk in andhra pradesh. It is located nearby 150kms from bangalore. The place is ideal for visiting the sunrise and sunsets. The view of surroundings and agricultural lands from the hilltop is magnificent. The roads are not good condition in andhra pradesh.

Good place for dayout from Bangalore . View from the top is spectacular. But the weather was so hot on January also. Garden is also nice. Some resorts are there, if you have a plan for stay you can. Andhra Pradesh tourism and some private properties are available for night stay. Bus service also available from the hills starting point. For the entry of horsley hills you have to pay 100 rupees. Hilly road is nice, full of greenary, I think best time to visit monsoon. Otherwise this Rocky hill station is too much hot and dry. Avoid public holidays because it becomes over crowded. #daytripfrombangalore #dayout #placesnearbangalore
