Had fried rice from the place, and it had too much MSG that I felt really thirsty after eating. It tasted pretty much the same as the fried rice we could get from a small street side shop for half the price. Oily and hard to eat. Even the chilli paste was just sweet. It's been 8 hours since I had the fried rice and I'm still pretty thirsty. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Unhygienic place that gave the 7 of us diarrhea, puking and food poisoning the next morning!!! 🀬🀬🀬 We had kottu, milkshakes and some noodlez, but all of us ended up with a very bad diarrhea and feeling nausea. We went with a local guide and he also mentioned the kottu is uncooked. We went back to the place for a complaint but they were just laughing and not takingn our complaints seriously. The place looks nice but for sure the food is bad.

Food is okey, nothing to be surprised. Looking in the reviews there were several saying the food is greasy and oily, it’s true! Bought a submarine & inside was dripping from oil and so greasy. Disgusting to eat. Milk shake was too much sweet almost taste like a chocolate drink from a store. Place is always busy and there are like 1 servers all the time. Have to wait upto 20 minutes to get offered a menu even. Food preparation takes anywhere between 30 - 1 hour & when asked to order more server was rude & told either to wait 30 minutes or not order anything. 10% service charge is applicable for dine in & all they provide is 2 tissues and utensils. Not even a water. Not worth all this hassle to eat there since food or the price can Justify all this attitude and greasy food. If you are a greasy, oily food lover & a overly sweet drink lover this is the place for you!

I ate the Kottu with Beef. It was incredible and a lot to eat. The were so many side dishes to it. It is really hot but still OK if you like hot meals. If you are not used to it please try something else. You can sit on the Balcony and watch the business of the street. They have take away as well. There are other locations which are more expensive and others which are cheaper. The price range is really in the middle.

I just visited Cafe Divine Street in Kandy and had a fabulous experience. I ordered their cheese kottu, which was comforting and delicious. After a long day of travelling and not having eaten much, this dish was like a warm embrace. It reminded me of a huge bowl of mac n cheese with an exciting twist of fried onions and a hint of spice that added a delightful kick. The portion was incredibly generous, so much so that I could only manage to eat half - a testament to the hearty and satisfying nature of the meal. Cafe Divine Street is not only impressed with its food but also with its cosy ambience, making it a perfect spot to unwind and treat yourself to some mouth-watering comfort food. I highly recommend Cafe Divine Street for anyone in Kandy looking for a delicious, filling meal in a welcoming setting.

delicious! best cafe located in the colombo street. prices are little bit expensive but foods are good enough for that. best kottus available in here especially the cheesy one. pastas are also good. actually this cafe is best for cheese lovers. also their beverages are good. from hot to cold, beverages in any range are very delicious. cappuccinos are the best πŸ‘πŸ‘β˜•

Good atmosphere, nice interior design, average service quality. The toilet is clean but wet. Had a morning coffee. Little portions and the coffee hadn't the flavor or feel. No value for money. Consumed no food, so not sure about the food quality. But a big fat NO for coffee..

Enjoyed a tasty lunch with biryani, nasi goreng, and a passion mojito. The good service, clean and comfy surroundings, along with a positive atmosphere, made for a satisfying dining experience.

A nice place to eat near Kandy town. Place is small so that it feel like more packed. It take little bit longer time to get the order. I went in lunch time may be that could be reason. However food is good and prices are reasonable.

We had lunch at this cafΓ©, and the food was delicious. The waiting time for the food during peak hours is a little bit higher. The prices of the food are reasonable and worth the money. The place is really convenient and near the city center.

If you experience constipation, this might be the place for you. However, be warned: from the next day onward, you might find yourself spending a lot of time in the washroom. Additionally, the service was quite slow, taking a considerable amount of time to bring the food to the table. I would not recommend this place. Food at this place was a major letdown – bland, greasy, and left me questioning my decision to eat there. Not worth the disappointment. Customer service is very poor

I am only sorry to not to discover this restaurant earlier. Very good food for a lower price than average food in the city centre, huge portions. They made it without spice and brought the chilly separately for me to add as much as I like.

Small compact place sometimes it's a little warm inside. I think due to kitchen being so close but still I find this place very good because of all those things kinda make the place what it feels like I guess.. and it's clean. the food sometimes can take time if they have a crowd but the food is tasty and I think the portion for the price is also good here... If you order something spicy like Nasi goreng make sure you tell them your spicy level...

A great cafe situated in the Colombo Street in the middle of Kandy town. The food and drinks were served within the first 15 minutes of waiting regardless of the crowd. There's a terrace overlooking the street in the second floor of the cafe. The only negative point on the cafe is its location in the busy part of the town. We ordered a chicken rice and a chicken noodles along with a chocolate shake and a mojito for drinks. The food are delicious and worth the price you have to pay. Don't forget to step into Cafe Divine Street the next time you pass the Colombo Street!

The cafe divine street is a place which is very calm and quiet in the Colombo street, Kandy. My experience was that the contain of submarine is not much reasonable for the price and taste also not satisfied. But Cheers koththu, Sweet Street were perfect. However Cafe Divine Street is a very good place to taste various kind of foods for reasonable prices.

Great cafe in the middle of the city of Kandy. Its little bit hard to find since its in cross street. The foods were really good, delicious and decent portion sizes, normally enough for two person to share. Prices are reasonable when u consider what you getting on the table. Try their crispy chicken burger. Place is kinda small and can be somewhat hot in the middle of the day. Highly recommended for anyone.

If you are really hungry, come here for your meal. All dishes are cooked really fast, and the portions are big. Biriyani was a bit spicy, but chicken and mushroom spaghetti was really great! Recommend you this place.

Very delicious food! Good location and friendly waiter. If you are lucky, you can get one of the balcony tables, which overviews the street. Also, very good prices! Highly recommended!
