Food was average. Prices on menu are not what they charge tourist, it seems..we were asked to pay more. The chicken rice on menu was Lkr 250 and at first they wanted 700. They ended up charging 300. They have large windows looking into a clearly unsanitary kitchen. The whoke place looks dirty and it feels very unwelcoming. Not what we expected after reading the obviously fake or fabricated reviews.

Very happy we found this restaurant through Google Maps. It has one of the highest ratings in Kandy and did not disappoint. Food is absolutely delicious, healthy (no MSG added) and price is unbeatable. A true local experience! The owner was there and personally gave me an etiquette lesson on how to eat like a Sri Lankan - without utensils. Highly recommended :)

I came here with two friends, they prepared us some kottu for dinner, and they asked us to come to the kitchen so they could show us how it was prepared. The owner is very friendly and cozy and started to beat to me to eat more and more spicy foods which was a nice experience

Authentic restaurant with a good price and service. We had kind of a buffet with different kinds of Sri Lanka curry. People are nice and helpful. After they did not have bottle water, somebody went to get some. The water was not charged at all. This restaurant is not western like, so do not expect western standards. Actually that is, what we did like.

This is the place to go for the folks who really want to find authentic Sri Lankan food. I was driving with my tour guide and was just staying curious about food in the area by looking and reading through reviews. The two things I found were either Western foods or Sri Lankan places that seemed to try to cater towards that. This was neither. The surprise for me was that my tour guide is from the area and knew the family and was surprised as well that I chose this place. It's what you think. It's a family ran restaurant making the same food as they would eat at home. For the folks reading and consider themselves well travelled and are fans of eating food that hasn't been adjusted for Western tastes - This is your place to go. In Nashville, this is akin to the meal your momma would cook.

Currently on a cycling adventure through Sri Lanka and visited Asiri and the food was delicious, very friendly service and excellently priced! They made us Aussies feel welcomed!

Superb food for everyone. Typical rice and curry would be a good choice if you dine here. Also recommended for tasty short eats.

Loved the food. 6pm and I was the only customer. They made me a vegetable rice thst was perfect, and cheap. Very friendly people.
