Superb ramen, Chicken Katsura don I ever had in Sri Lanka. Fresh and quick service. Best and only Japanese restaurant in Kandy. Highly recommended.

If you’re a sushi lover you must go to Grill N Chill. If you want to be your own chef you must try Grill N Chill. The quality of the food is great and everything I tried was delicious. Staff were amazing too. This place is incredible. Highly recommended.

Ordered chicken cheese koththu & chicken fried rice on today evening and one of the worst ever koththu & F/R I’ve had in my life. Plain rotty pieces mixed with few vegis and few fried chicken pieces with NO CHEESE in a chese koththu Think 100 times before order the food in this horrible place NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Came here for the first time and I’m amazed. First of all, the staff is very friendly and informative. The atmosphere is very unique and chill. And the food is veeery good. We ordered 3 dishes and all 3 were amazing. It included sushi and it was very good quality. We got to see how they make it as well.

We went to this location as a venue for a party. The view was so great. Very photo worthy backgrounds. The food was disgusting. It was served so late. And many weren't available.The plates weren't clean. The people weren't nice. The glasses or cutlery weren't clean. Privacy was good. To make it short: go for the view.

I love the food and vibe in this place. The staff is friendly. Best and the only place to have the yakiniku experience. Recommended for spending a nice family time. The view is also amazing from the restaurant.

It's a latest addition to Kandy city , Grill n Chill - Authentic Japanese Restaurant Located in busy Old Peradeniya Road. Atmosphere is spacious and cozy with friendly and welcoming staff, where we served by Nuwan with friendly and professional attitude. Foods are succulent and freshly made and specially very much sufficient portions , presentation are simply elegant. The Chef Denvour we had a chat whose with plenty of experience around the globe specialized in Japanese cuisines, He was too friendly and polite. It is a must try in Kandy City.

I had a chicken fried rice and the rice was too oily. But it tasted pretty okay and the chicken was crispy. Has a nice view of the town specially in the evenings as the sun sets. While the chef was friendly, the person at the counter was not. The way to the restaurant is lined with rooms of a hotel which made me a little nervous.

This place charges 800 lkr for a prawn garlic fried rice that I can get anywhere for 250 lkr. There were maybe 2 prawns in each rice box and with the shell still on so it was really difficult to eat (none visible in the photo, only garlic cloves). We were not reimbursed as promised by the owner. This place is a rip off.

The food was tasty. I’ll not recommend this place for a family outing unless the management decide to make separate areas for families and other people who come here to have drinks only. Other than that the view is great, a nice place. I hope that the management will consider to have separate areas in the future as I mentioned earlier.

The place has good views with outdoor seating. The place allows alcohol to be brought from outside so expect crowds making noise with signing. Expect huge delays in serving food. Parking has a few slots so expect to park elsewhere if crowded. The owner is super friendly. A climb to the place is required so be aware.

Amazing Japanese food in Kandy. Came here twice and had ramen, sushi and beef cooked on the table grill. Also had some amazing tuna sashimi. One of the best meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka, will definitely go again if I come back to Kandy.

The food is amazing, we came twice and ordered lots of different dishes. The chef is clearly very skilled and they use really good quality ingredients. We particularly enjoyed grilling our beef and the tuna sashimi. The service is excellent too. They have buttons on each table so you can call a waiter which is really helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting Kandy. A really special place.

I Visited here for the first time and our food experience is amazing. Best place to have sushi and other Japanese food around kandy. We ordered strawberry with cheese sushi platter it was freshly made and taste amazing. chicken fried rice made without adding any chili spices and it was made for perfection. Everyone enjoyed food. Worth the money we spent here and definitely going to visit again.

Visited the place on Friday night. This was the first time that I tried Japanese food. Stuff was very helpful and friendly when selecting dishes. Food was delicious 🤤😋. The best part was grilling. Highly recommended to take grill items.

Very friendly staff, calm and pleasant Ambiance. Food quality is exceptional and ingredients were really good and fresh. Yakinuki DIY Chicken was great and Salmon Sushi too. Ramen should have been warmer and with more flavour... Chicken Ramen was actually better than the Seafood option and Pork is missing big time in their menu... Hope you'll improve.

They have a delicious sushi selection. The ramen I tried was pretty good too. Service is really good as well! Great for authentic Japanese.

It was my first time trying Japanese food with my co-workers and I must say that I loved the experience! The restaurant is located on a roof top which gives you a beautiful view of the hill country. I tried the mouth watering dishes; miso soup, tori katsu maki and traditional Japanese green tea. My favourite dish out of all was the tori katsu maki which was so delicious. Also the staff was very customer friendly, specially the Executive Chef Denver explained us the ingredients to help us choose dishes that we prefer. I had a nice time with my co-workers at Grill 'N' Chill and I highly recommend it if you are craving for aunthentic Japanese food in Kandy.

Best of all, Authentic and mouth-watering japanese food. Highly Recommend : Chicken Yakisoba, Chicken Ramen,Chicken Katsu Don Dont forget to try the Grill (Yakiniku). They were kind enough to offer all of us a complimentary green tea. From sushi menu. We ordered Califonia Maki which was really nice. However there are many sushi options too. Highly Recommended!!!!

Terrible ! More than half of the menu is not available, I ordered a chicken burger. I took them half an hour to prepare it, and when it came, there were like 20 French fries, the bun was cold and not fresh, the piece of chicken was so small...to make it short, don't go !
