Very friendly and helpful staff. Wifi speed is ok and breakfast (included) is also good. 5 stars for the excellent view over Kandy and the friendly staff. Good spacious and free parking as well. Of course everything isn't top class but this place gets 5 stars for the price category it's in.

Room is ok.But water supplying is not satisfied.

The location is covinient, 15 minutes walk to the Tooth Temple and near the lake. The hostel was clean however there is a serious issue with damp. I could smell it as soon I got to the room and all of my belongings including the bed sheet were damp. They are very nice people but I would not go back

Worst ever cheap hotel. No menus for Alacarte no food to buy. Rooms are cheap but within them too are cheap as hell. Beds have bugs, mattresses are thin and smelly. No racks for cloths. Towels are foul smelled. Never seems to have sweep floors. Its in a prime location but noisy and nor classy. Facility wise, its a cheap hotel but for same price, you can find better equiped and clean hotels around this place.

Location is quite interior and it takes around 10 min from the main road to reach here or even to find any public transportation. We were given a room in the basement which was clean but a little claustrophobic. A window is always welcome. Staff though was super helpful and breakfast was just great. It was very quiet around and dark at night to walk in that area. Not quite safe feeling. Also it was difficult to find food outside after 9pm. We had to walk a km to find a decent restaurant for dinner.

Good location, easy accès to the main activities, and welcoming staff. The rooms are not well equipped there was only one Mosquito net for the all dorm of 6 bed. Got stung all night didn’t slept well.

Drop Hostel Kandy offers an affordable stay where you can spend a few days on a low budget. However, the private room I booked was not well-maintained; for example, the curtains were not stitched, and the taps in the washroom were loose. I stayed there for a night only. While the property provides WiFi facilities and the host is very helpful, the overall property maintenance needs improvement.

Amazing location and good price, had the private room with a beautiful Terrace (view on whole city). Room was clean and we felt very comfortable. Exactly what we needed to get away from the very crowded Kandy.

Nice place, clean and good staff working there. It's very close to Kandy lake and around 15-20 mins by walk to the Buddha tooth temple, so good location. Recommended.
