Best place to stay in Kandy. Amazing view on the city, easy to get with pick me app. But the greatest part is the owner and his family. They help you with anything you need. I twisted my ankle and their advice helped me heal quicker and prevented me from putting an end to my trip.

Excellent place. The location has a stunning view of the Kandy city and the Hantana mountain range. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hosts are very friendly and the food is excellent

Such an amazing place!!! The views are spectacular, overlooking the whole of Kandy. The host was so so extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful! Made you feel at home the moment you arrived. On top of all this, they serve a delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast- authentic Sri Lankan food and super delicious! We've been travelling for four months now and this has got to be our favourite place in south east Asia.

Amazing place and amazing host. Service was world class and the Infrastructure was the best for this price. Room was cozy and had an amazing view and packed with all amenities you need from a decent hotel/guest house. Trust me you will love every bit of your stay at this place. This was one of our best stays in Sri Lanka. Our host was fantastic and I have literally zero complaints about this homestay. We were welcomed very warm! Our room had all the facilities we needed. Super clean and nothing to complain about hygiene. We had dinner which was coconut roti with chicken and curry, prepared by our host. Fantastic with a view over Kandy! Breakfast was delicious. Staying in Kandyan Hills is not for the faint hearted. I wanted to give 4 stars but Tehan's hospitality and professionalism, the owner, is beyond my expectations. My room has it's own balcony, the bed is good for 3 or 4 people (it's huge) and the toilet is the size of a small room. Why I could have given it 4 stars? It's on top of a hill and cars/tuktuk alike are having a hard time getting there save for the residents who has been inhabiting the area for years, of course. It's walkable for fitness junkies (3-4km from the center but you would be able to passby Kandy Train Station, the public market, got to Kandy Lake and the Temple of Tooth). Down the hill, the road is busy but supermarkets and shops are sprawling everywhere. You can buy varieties of stuff: water, bread and etc. If you want a balcony view with superb Kandyan/Sri Lankan hospitality, please book your stay here.

Amazing service and hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay there. The house is located a few minutes outside the busy and touristy city center and has a nice view on it. Thank you Teh for being such a welcoming host.

Hidden gem In kandy! Quiet uphill rooms with a lovely host. He makes breakfast and dinner and everything tastes amazing. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Host is helpfull and can arrange a tuk tuk/tours if you like, you can ask him anything. I've been in a lot of hotels in Sri Lanka latetly and this was my absolute favorite!

The hospitality provided by Mr.Tehan was awesome. Great ambiance and lovely food made us feel so comfortable. It was one of the best home stay that we had in Srilanka. Kudos guys, your service is most appreciated. Highly recommended.!
