10/10. The highlight of this accommodation are the hosts. We were welcomed by delicious dinner, which we ate in the dinning room, talking to Selyna and her husband with a feeling such as visiting friends in their home. Even though we spent only two nights, we had really nice conversations with Selyna, learning a lot about their culture, food, cooking, trees... we even were introduced to their kids. And of course Ollie! funny and cute dog. The hosts are super caring and helpful. Top of everything were breakfasts, delicious and served on the terrace with the view. That leads me to the location - I wouldn't choose a different one. Views are amazing, surroundings is quiet but the crazy centre of Kandy is easily accessible in max 10 minutes in tuktuk (Pickme works well in this location). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Most important: Selyna really is a great host. She was so nice and assisted us in many ways. The rooms were super clean and the breakfast terrace has amazing views. Strongly recommend. (Bonuspoints for Ollie the super cute dog)

Selyna and her family are truly welcoming people 💗 Our stay at they place was great from the very first second. There is nothing we could complain about, truly everything was superb 👌 The room is spacious and has an breathtaking view. The bed is very comfy and we slept well. Room has an A/C, fridge, hair dryer, kettle etc. The breakfast in the morning was a great mix between local and continental, alots of fruits and original family recipes! The area is very calm and safe and its only about 15-20 minutes walk to the city center. Although the way back up is steep, you could take a tuktuk for little price to take you there. As a little side note: Their dog Ollie is soooo lovely 😍 If you like dogs, you'll even like it more here. Full recommendation!

Selyna is one of the friendliest ladies we’ve met on our travels. Her homestay is lovely, situated up on a hill in a quiet suburb area of Kandy with the best hospitality. Rooms are clean, there is a hot waterfall shower and nothing is any trouble. Homemade breakfast by Selyna with her own recipes (including her own homegrown coffee!). You will eat with other guests in a family-style so it’s great for meeting other travellers. She will also help you to organise onward travel if need be. We stayed an extra night here as we liked it so much. Her dog skipper is super cute also! It’s within 5-10 minutes downhill walk to the town. Highly recommend!

I can’t stress enough how wonderful the hospitality provided by Selyna and her family is. We really enjoyed our stay here and coming back for another night after some camping felt like returning home! Thank you so much

Excellent localization! In top of the hill, that is why even when this is close distance, going up the hill is tiring so better use tuk-tuk. Very kind lady serving the place. Rooms comfy and clean. Tasetfull breakfast. Highly recommend! P.S. Lot of monkeys around and 1 cool dog :)

Selyna is very kind, she helps you with everything. The breakfast was really good. Even when we did a trekking, Selyna arranged breakfast to go. She also gave good recommendations for restaurants and for the trekking. The view from the terrace is wonderful. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to stay here.

The spaces are very clean, the room and the bathroom are large. The terrace has a beautiful view! Selyna is very kind and gives you many tips about Kandy!! And Ollie is a very cute dog 😍 I’m sure I’ll be back at the Sky Terrace during my next trip to Sri Lanka.

We had the BEST experience at Selyna Sky Terrace. Selyna is the friendliest, most helpful host you can imagine. She prepares the breakfast with love and is always keen to give advice. The hotel itself is located on a green hill next to the city center, which makes it the perfect getaway from the busy streets of Kandy. The room could use an airconditioning, but the bed is comfy and the shower is wonderful! Would definetely recommend.

Place is fabulous ,room gorgeous and the Host, Selyna, is a wonderful person, makes you feel at home. Couldn't ask for more. She also offered assistance should you want to see things around.

This is a truly lovely place to stay, in Kandy. It's very clean and well equppied, with good hot water and WiFi. Selyna, the owner, is a lovely lady and a great cook. Recommended.

Wonderfull homestay with very friendly hosts. The place has a beautiful terrace from where you can spot quite some animals and enjoy the view over Kandy. Breakfast is great as well!

We had an amazing time at Selyna's beautifull house. The view, hospitality and the dog Skipper all added up to a great stay. The shower was the best we had in Sri Lanka!

selyna is such an amazing host. This is the place to stay if you want to be in a real Sri Lankan home. The family offered to cook for us and would help with whatever is needed. The bed is extra comfortable and is super quiet all night. The GPS on google maps is 100% accurate. Tell your tuk tuk driver to just follow the maps. Price of tuk tuk to town is under 2 dollars or under 300 rupees. Also the breakfast was very delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We had very pleasant stay in this guesthouse. The house was very modern and with an amzing view. Selyna and her family were lovely. She makes a super tasty breakfast that you can enjoy in the balcony with view.
