Fabulous trendy food station great quality food cooked to order. Plus take away. Well worth a visit , great value for money, £24 for 6!! Take time out to get out of your hotel skip the expensive meals and enjoy the garden café.

Very disappointing place. Unhygienic conditions and dirty surroundings. The portions are big but the food was cold and quite poor standard. The only good part are the staff who are friendly and they try their best but it's a very basic place to have a cheap meal if you're hungry since there Is nothing else around for quite some distance. Would not recommend it to anyone though.

We had chicken biryani, seafood kottu, egg pancake and mango smoothie. They were good and cheap. The staff could speak English and was so friendly. They have a menu with Sri Lankan food and some Western food. This place seems famous for locals and foreigners to come and enjoy good and fresh food. The restaurant is near the lake. There is no paking for vehicles.

Crowded all the time... Good food specially Koththu Roti... Very reasonable..one of the few restaurant which is open past 11 pm in Kandy Lake Area...

Small place where you can dine in. Food is ok. Customer service is ok

Slow service. The vegetable rice is bad. Samosa is bad and dried Chicken soup is ok but not much chicken in it (230 lkr) Orange juice is excellent (250 lkr) Fans are off it feels like a sauna.

Been in Kandy for Two days and we have had dinner both nights. Staff and food are fantastic. Authentic Sri Lankan Street food at its best. Negative reviews are not warranted.

Had a delicious biryani here for about 450RS at this roadside basic cafe. No frills just excellent fresh food and amazing watching them cook while it poured with rain outside.

Delicious street style food. We had the chicken and cheese kottu and chicken curry with egg roti and lime juice, all great. It was noisy due to the rain on the roof and the guy chopping kottu on the grill, but it was cheap and tasty. Recommended

Found a hair in my food and 10 seconds later a massive cockroach running across the floor (which isn’t too uncommon in Asia) Food was ok, but it was cheap and service was friendly. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Mandy garden cafe i ate first time sambhol and kotturottu my my i cannot forget the taste it was so delicious and mouth watering . If I visited again I'll definitely would go their .

Great juice bar and good food. We had rice and curry vegetable and dhal curry with roti. Unfortunately the roti and curry were cold (that’s why 4/5 ⭐️). Prices are very Backpacker friendly! The staff was very nice.

Fantastic place; the food is delicious, prices are really cheap and the staff is very friendly. We stayed in Kandy 3 nights in a guesthouse nearby and this was our go-to place for every meal; from breakfast to dinner. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Terrible. We ordered all mix fried rice four potions and another without sea food. There wws no difference in the price. Once we received oir meals there was no sea food. When we inquire about it they said they already put but v cant see them as they are very tiny pieces. Never visit this place again.

Dining in is a bit of a mess and very, very basic, but I love getting stuff here to take out. Taste is variable. Probably depends on the cook but it is overall very good and very authentic. If you are from outside of town you can rest assured that the kitchen is clean and food is hygenically produced (I've seen the kitchen albeit a while ago) and the prices are reasonable/cheap and the same whatever your colour of skin.
