Good place to get an insight into how tea is processed. We had a lovely guide by the name of Swarna, she made the tour very enjoyable and interactive. Picked some teas to take back home

Really friendly people showing you the whole process of tea production from A to Z. Really interactive for kids, you can’t touch, smell, try see the machines and people working. Staff speak many languages including Russian. Shop with a decent prices and feeling that you know what you buy, helps to get the best souvenir for yourself. It will be great to be sipping tea from Ceylon at home and remember those great days

This place was gorgeous. We were there on a holiday, when most other places were closed, and were greeted & treated with kindness and exceptional service. After a tour through the factory and an in depth explanation of the different qualities of teas, we returned to the shop area where we were treated to a cuppa and lovely snacks, especially for the holiday. I highly recommend visiting.

This tea factory was lovely, the staff were very informative and the layout of the spaces made sense and to see all the working machinery was great. British and Irish working machinery all round. You get to see the drying, rolling, sorting, weighing of the teas. Then a chance to try and buy. And of course we did! I bought a Kandy nights tea and an English breakfast of course.

Very cute factory build up on the hill. We got there by Uber from Kandy for about 800LRK. After arrival one lady took us trough the factory. The tour was about 5 mins short/ long?? Don’t even know. She was talking so fast like she had something else to do after. When she explained the process we got served a cup of tea with biscuit and palm sugar. I felt a bit like we have been pushed to buy some very overpriced tea you can get in any shop anyway for at least half a price.

One of the tea factories in Kandy. Appreciate that the staff stayed back to give us the tour despite us reaching near closing time. She also did a good job explaining the different types of tea produced at the factory, and brought us through the different stages of tea production, and demonstrated the uses of each machine. You can also taste some varieties of teas produced. It was really informative, and I really learnt a lot more about the different types of tea (which they also sell), and the benefits.

Well maintained tea factory with a garden. You can get complete idea about how pure Ceylon tea is made by visiting this place. There is a product outlet also in this place.

What a nice cute tea factory. Saw all the various processes and equipment that is used to make different kinds of tea! Semi-govt facility, so thankfully the tea prices are fixed (in case you are non-bargainer like me :) lovely people.

We wanted to see sri lanka's famous tea factories and gardens, and our tourist guide took us to kadugannawa only because he had commission with them. That would be okay if this factory didn't try to scam us! After giving us a tour of the factory they gave us a tea which was very delicious. We were a group of 9 and we spend around 700$ buying Tea from them, only to find out the one they gave us is not the one we drank there even though we specifically asked for that. Its much worse and tasted terrible. You can easily find better tea factories, be careful who is your driver and tour guide.
