Room sizes are large enough to feel yourself comfortable even for long stay and also breakfast is fine for the budget price. Tuk transport available for the visitors with a very friendly driver. easy to access Kandy city, local restaurants and supermarkets. Place is highly recommended !! visited 6, 7 times as a local visitor and never get disappointed ♥

Stayed here for one night on our travels. Lovely little setting .the owner was so friendly and genuine when he talks . Lovely cozy atmosphere with great hill side view from the balcony. We would highly recommended to anyone wanting a cheap and comfy stay . Massive wash room and tidy rooms , free wifi , morning tea making facilities , simply awesome place . This place is perfect for your stay in Kandy! It's located a little out of the busy noisy city centre but on easy walking distance of 15 min to the lake or 5 min by tuktuk. The family is really kind and helpful. While I went to a meditation centre for 11 days they made it possible for me to store some of my luggage with them until I got back. They also did all of my laundry for a reasonable price. Breakfast is good. Bed is amazing!! On top of this, the place is extremely clean and quiet. A must go while staying in Kandy!

Very nice place for long rest. The apartment is clean. Breakfast include. It is also possible to rent a scooter for cheap. We really liked to rest in this place, lived here for three nights. Owners are very friendly and nice people. The owners recommended good places and offered advice on our holiday.

We had a very nice stay at Rest for guest. They were always available for us to make our trip the best experience possible, with good advises to organize our journey. The room is clean, comfortable and at 10 minutes from the Kandy city center.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had anywhere, given the price. Welcoming host, spotless accommodation and fantastic breakfast. Would recommend a hundred times over. Price was very reasonable. Had a great view of the hillside for New Years fireworks.

Amazing place with extremely kind and helpful owner! It's wuiet homestay nicely loceted in green area between hills and gardens. Spacious clean rooms with bathrooms and comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, terrace/patio and plenty of plants. Very quiet, safe and comfortable place with deliciuos breakfast. Few minutes walk from bus stop (hospital station), 20m to the nearest shop. Owner helps you with planning every trip, advise where to go and what to do, answer any questions with smile :) highly reccommend to any traveller due to reasonable price and friendly atmosphere to relax.

We received such a warm welcome from the owners of this established guest house .the room was perfect . The location of the accomodation was perfectly placed with a close walk down the hill to Kandy . We would love to stay again!

Nothing to say. 100% perfect property that we can rent for short term rentals. I was there with 3 of my guys. the rooms are absolutely worth for the price. all rooms are included with internal bathrooms. room set up was pretty simple and neat. Specially, the owner is a very kind and helpful person as well. You can have travel guides from him🤗Location also very easy to reach. 700m from Kandy railway station.I can recomend this for both locals and foreigners as a best place you have to try within your travel to Kandy.

We always try to find a small nice property instead of big international chains in every trip we do and after staying in many hotels of this kind we are 100% sure that Rest for guest was our best ever choice. Rooms are spotlessly clean and large enough to feel yourself comfortable even for a long stay. We would like to mention that every detail and every corner of the interiors and exteriors are built with love and perfect taste. Yes, there are many rules (like some guests say in their reviews), but we were more than happy to accept all of them as this helps to keep the place in such an ideal condition. The owner Mr.Piyal is very nice person with a very gentle character of hospitality. We had breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse. Both were very tasty at resonable price.
