😠 Continuously 3rd day they give the excuse of the door broken in emergency room. Irresponsible management and staffs. No use of coming to this hospital unless we wish to sacrifice our lives. Suwasewana Hospital offers decent medical services, but falls short in certain areas such as providing free parking for patients. This lack of consideration for patients' needs is a major inconvenience and puts a damper on the healthcare experience.

This is the best private hospital in Kandy when comes to patient care and customer service. Leaving this after a horrible experience at Asiri Hospitals Kandy. Government hospitals treat patients better than at Asiri. While this place is super attentive to patients.

Pros : The staffs are very professional and friendly. Cons : 1.everything you touch is money. 2.Some doctors recommend another doctor and that doctor and that doctor recommend this doctor. Its like a loop. They keep making money doing that. A scam. 3. General Washrooms are untidy. Not clean at all. You need to consult a doctor using it.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Worst private hospitals ever. Government hospitals treat better than this. Very unhygienic. Hospital and rooms were not cleaned. Beds were very old and mattresses felt like thin blankets. Equipments do not work. We were admitted to an AC room where AC doesn’t work. They told this when paying for the admissions like they do not even care. Very unprofessional staff except nurses. Go for an option like Asiri. Very slight and inconsiderable price difference. You will not regret that decision.

NOT RECOMMENDED THIS PRIVATEHOSPITAL. I am very disappointed that my appointment was at 4.00 but didn't show up until 2 hours later and there was no apology or anything And the service was very poor, they had no customer service even though we were paying. Better to go to government hospital and save your time 😤🤬

Took a toddler to the lab for a blood test and the two lab professionals there were clearly NOT trained enough to draw blood from children. They were not able to hold down the child's arm properly and blamed it on the baby moving too much, thus causing the vein to jump around. Eventually they gave up and I was more than happy to leave after getting a refund. I am 100% sure the child's movement cannot be blamed because I had done the same test 2 months ago in Asiri Kandy and they did it in one shot, without a hassle. In fact, I went to Asiri 30 minutes later with the same toddler and got the test done in a flash with no issues.

Sad to see how much you charge vs what your service is . Usually wards are very quiet so that the patients can rest . But the wards here are like some sathi pola where patients don’t get at least 5 minutes of quiet time to rest even during midnight . Nurses are so loud laughing and chit chatting. Patients have to wait hour and hours for the meals to come but I’m sure it won’t take you even two minutes to prepare the bills. My family member had to wait more than two hours to get his vegetarian diet because they served fish. They took few hours to change the plate . This is clearly shows your standard and how much you value your customers. Even during this difficult time people visit expecting some level of relief and good care because they pay for it . You’ve proven well enough why people shouldn’t even think to visit.

We went for an outpatient endoscopy and we had to wait for a long time after the procedure till they finalized the bill. It was early in the morning and we were the only people waiting at the cashier. We told them 2-3 times that my mother was fasting overnight and feeling exhausted that we need to get the bill asap. The cashier was like “they’re doing it, go sit down”. Nobody even apologized for the delay. We haven’t experienced this in any other private or government hospitals. Had we stayed as inpatient for a few days , I would have understood why they were taking up such a long time to finalize the bill. But it was just an outpatient procedure, they only had to add 2-3 charges. So inefficient, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I took my sister due to sudden sickness (breathing difficulty). OPD Doctor is inexperienced and X-Ray Technician is working on his own timings. Staff didn't care about seriousness of the patient. Even wheelchairs are immovable due to unserviceable conditions. Administration shall take stern actions to train their staff specifically on ethics, standards and customer care. If administration disregards the bad mannerism and professional competencies of the staff, gradually this Hospital will be ruined.....

Service of the young nurses are very poor and not talented at all in Suwasewana Kandy. More over they do not have respect towards patients. Lack of duty of care. They do not know what their job is. Please recruit people who knows their job and who respect the employment. Anyhow room service was good.

1st they take 4 hours to prepare the bill. After inform from ward. Ward staff said they inform to billing section at 7.00 am after 8.00 am I visited 4 times to billing section. They call each other to ask how to make the bill and they have no hurry to do the job. After that a man made the bill and he purposely add fake testing charges and medical charges to bill. After I request detail bill they reduce extra charges from that bill. never trust that billing section. Very disappointed. They do construction all over day and night without considering patients.

Writing this review based on what I experienced today. Before you go to this hospital, remember that the staff is very careless. And whatever happens as a result you will have to deal with it and the hospital management will not take accountability for it. Today my mom did a cataract surgery and the nurse had poured meds on the wrong eye before amma had the chance to say its the wrong eye. Imagine the level of ignorance to not know which eye to operate on! And the what they had told was "it's just some medicine, dont worry about it, it happens all the time" Although I've heard some bad stuff about this place I never thought the staff was this unprofessional. So the next time you visit this place, keep in mind that no one is going to take accountability when things go sideways. And things go sideways very often..

Don't go there at any cost for admissions. Yesterday my best friend's son admited there with little bit serious condition. Staff didn't even know how to put a saline properly. And took 4 hours to give a report because no staff member to take it from lab, asked us to take it from there. Discharge process took 3 hours. Then changed to asiri hospital. Try it. The best service ever.

One of the leading private hospital in Kandy. But overall the hospital seems to be dull and appeared to be unclean may be due to the colors they hav used and the low maintenance. OPD is available 24 /7. Specialist Channeling is also available. Rooms and wards prices starting from 2000/- and range to 8000/- Staff is very helpful but I believe there are areas to be improved. They have car parks one is a paid one which is very spacious, open and newly pawed. Also for residence patients there is a another in build in one which is very narrow but can accommodate around 20 vehicles. For this you dont have pay will give a pass but if you park overnight you have to pay a Rs100/-

Professionalism is no go at this place. Doctors fee just hand grab by a nurse and getting a receipt for that is a nightmare. If you have to follow up for the same reason or your initial medicine does not work, you will have to pay full consultation and doc fee regardless even it is 24hrs apart. Horrible place just there to rip you off. Down the same road there is a world class hospital where you will definitely be better off. Avoid this place as mush as you can.

Admitted my nephew today for fever and cough. Patient chart was marked as they did all the treatments but none of treatments were done to the child. Luckily we found out this after the discussion with the doctor. Management staff does not care about anything. Do not admit your loved ones to this under any circumstances.

I went to get a Ultra sound scan for my mother today The radiologist Dr.Sugath Dissanayake Was very rude. Doesnt respect to the patient and yelled at me just because came inside with my mother. We go to a private hospital spending our money (rs3500 for the Foot USS) not to get yelled by the big headed doctors there. Very disappointed. Asiri hospital is a much better place than suwasewana. Better facilities better doctors.

There is a psychiatrist here called Sapumal Jayasinghe who is completely incompetent, has no compassion, and is very arrogant. He is almost laughing at your depression. Find someone better for your.mental health, someone who cares and is at least slightly knowledgeable.

Yesterday, I visited Suwasewana and although the place was crowded due to the weekend, everything else was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth experience. The ambiance was calming, creating a peaceful atmosphere for healing and relaxation. Despite the crowd, the service remained efficient, and I received the necessary attention. Overall, Suwasewana provided a positive experience, and I would recommend it for anyone seeking wellness and rejuvenation.

EYE CLINIC: Dr. Shivantha is a great opthalmologist, I’m sure. Yet he failed to communicate with the patient and bystander regarding their concerns. When asked about the patients ailments, he said to “read the board outside”. Every patient has a right to their time with their doctor, to be heard and reassured, especially after waiting for hours to be seen.

We'll Organise place, with new management place is getting more light up and well organised. Hospital lobby getting improvement but it's showing off like a quite rush place. Also Security officer are trying to control vehicle in up and down. Very speedy way. Patient not having a enough peace of Mind to get in to Thier vehicle. In rainy day in between pharmacy and lobby area not have enough shade for cover up area. Security officer can given a small hand single pole emitting light to be more professional in their security job. The best thing is coast effective services. Advice to issue a own insurance loyalty program. Good luck Suwasewan you have helped friend And family to staying happy and for getting longevity iñ family. Thank you for all Drs Working there.

Really worsts service I ever had. Punctuality is zero. No one work on time in this hospital. Doctors and other staff never work on time. They don’t care about pertinent and wasted many hours of pertinent. The staff is really disrespectful to pertinent even private hospital. But they charge properly from pertinent. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Had an appointment with a consultant, there was only one nurse available to handle several on going appointments with other consultants. The patients were expected to pay cash and during this pandemic where using plastic money is encouraged, this health service provider expects cash. On top of that they charge an extra 3% if you make a card payment. This is called ripping people off during a time like this. Never go to this horrible place for consultations.

My experience at Suwasewana Hospital was disappointing and distressing. My aunty was admitted due to dengue, and the staff's neglect of the seriousness of her condition resulted in devastating consequences. The lack of priority given to her critical situation is inexcusable. Their focus was primarily on financial matters rather than patient care. Unfortunately, despite my aunt being in critical condition, the priority given to her well-being was minimal. This has left me deeply concerned about the hospital's commitment to patient care. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues and prioritize the quality of care provided to patients
