Biggest busstop and it's hard to search a bus

It's a lovely bus stand and also known as Bogambara Bus stand. There are enough buses to reach different destinations. A number of shops are there to purchase snacks and drinks. Though, we cannot get all the route buses at the bus halt itself. Where, the bus stand is packed up with buses that travel to central , western and eastern areas of the country.

Quite crowded. But you can find a bus to anywhere in Sri Lanka here.

The Kandy bus stand is okay, but could be improved. The staff is helpful, but sometimes there are long queues and delays. The waiting area could be cleaner and more comfortable. Overall, an average experience for bus travel in Kandy.

There no main bus stand, main bus stand is still in construction 4 years, buses are stopping all around the town, don't search for Kandy bus stand, but there are two bus stands in kandy bogambara and near clock tower, if you wanna go Colombo or somewhere in western province you better go to bogambara stand.

No buses to Girandurukotte after 6.45pm, from kandy bus stand.

I know this place from 1979. Time to time lot's of change's. Still Mara 🌲 is there. But evening time only beggars using this shelter's. It's big headache. How passengers sit there without cleaning. KMC or any one not maintain. Sad 🥺

Beautiful City ❤️❤️ Lovely Kandy 😍

I spent a few days in Kandy, Sri Lanka, which were three beautiful days. The special thing about candy is that you never know it is candy or Europe. All the buildings in Kandy were very old. That is, which was pre-British or distant from British. The entire building was restored to this condition as she once was in her prime And the flowers were taken care of, the street lights were taken care of, it was a very good exam of the government he kept all the Inheritance Heritage carefully . My morning walk was around candy, There is a beautiful lake with candy on it I made this picture I used to walk around it There is also a very beautiful temple of Buddha here. Just as in our country life starts in the morning, here the bells start ringing at 4:30.

It's somewhat okay place with busy surroundings.

It's one of best place to get physiotherapy treatment.

Kandy main bus station connecting all the directions. Both private and government (CTB) buses manage from here. The place is not organized well as busses parked everywhere. Plenty of routes and on main route buses running like every 15-30 minutes. No public parking or drop-off inside the facility. You can park along the roadsides to drop-off. Long term parking is not allowed.

Where you want to go....bueses are there. There are no limitation for long trip buses,always available.

You can stay in the bus stand without get wet, when it rains. Few retail shops are there for fast food and sweets.
