We spent 11 days in Sri Lanka in Jan 2020. We hired a driver from this company for a very reasonable price. The driver's name was Rohan and I can recommend him without doubt. He has a good English and deep knowledge about the sights around of any sorts. As we didn't have clear plans how we wanted to spent our holiday, we needed someone quite flexible. He is very easy going, he has very clear ideas how you can make the most of the days you have but he can slow down with the programmes if you want to take it easy a bit. He can find nice places to stay for good prices and he was always willing to adjust his ideas if we thought something differently. It was a beautiful holiday for us and I would like to thank you to him to help it to happen :)

I had Raj as my driver and tourguide. He is the best guide I have ever had. He knows English very well and he might be one of the nicest people I have ever met. The tour was custom made for our wants and needs. At the same time as it was very easy and relaxing. He has all the knowledge you will need for Sri Lanka, and is happy to share it if you want. Not too pushy, not too reserved. Just perfect.

I recomand the Blue Haven, they give us a very very colorful program with our interest, and our driver, Rohan was very helpful, with good English, a lot of knowledge and he guide us everywhere we asked, help us with the booking of accommodations, with the food (because we are vegetarian) and he was absolutely flexible if we wanted to change the fixed plans. I recomand them, I think our visit in Sri Linka would be so amazing without this!Absolutly five star!

I had Lalinda Wijelcoon as my driver. He was a thorough gentleman and a very safe driver. I had been hoodwinked by the Guest House owner who fixed the ride through Blue Haven Tours for me. However, Lalinda spoke directly to his boss and got matters sorted out very quickly.

Absolutely smashing!! Hooked this up in Colombo Fort train station. £420 for 18 days in a big aircon minivan. Travelled the entire country in style and comfort stopping at all the temples and sights. Our driver Tissa was absolutely perfect. Friendly and accommodating, took us to everything we asked, shops, booze runs, anything. He spoke perfect English and was a great guide. We drove over 1000km. Unbelievably good value!!

We booked our trip via Blue Haven one day before, and it worked out realy good. Our driver, his name is Sandamalimpgi, is a very good and experienced driver (so we were able to see all the main things in the area of sigiriya on time) Sandamalimpgi was also very helpful and gave us a little insight in the typical day of sri lankan people. He answered all our questions (no matter how naive they were) and was concerned that we had  wonderful days.

We spent 6 days with our driver Nalinda and we highly recommend him and the company. We didn`t think of having our own driver until we find the Blue heaven company and we cay say with no doubt that it made our lives way easier. Our initial idea was to move cities using uber etc, and only after booking Blue heaven we figured out it would have been way more complicated. We definitely did the right decision! Nalinda was extremely helpful, friendly, informative and his english was very good. We had a great time in Sri Lanka!

We dropped into the office in the Fort railway station to ask for information about how to travel around Sri Lanka. Linton explained about travel by train and car. We walked out with a firm 17 day tour with car and driver to travel all over the country. Our driver Dewapriya reported at the agreed time. He was a thorough gentleman and very fluent in English. Over the next 18 days we had an amazing drive. Every morning he would promptly report at the agreed time. Many of our stays were suggested by him and they were excellent. He would suggest interesting places to visit even when they were a bit out of the way. The car was very well maintained and comfortable. The quote for the trip was clearly explained in the beginning and there were no additional demands. We extended the trip and it was left to us to decide the additional cost. We had a great time in Sri Lanka thanks to Blue Haven Tours. I will recommend them for an honest and trouble free travel.

I initially booked a transfer from Colombo to Sigirya with Blue Haven, they were really reactive and proposed me a fair price. Our driver Nalinda, was really friendly and proposed us a lot of sites seeing along the way. As we have been very satisfied we extend 5 more days with him, and Nalinda has always been very ponctual, professional and showed us some nice places to eat :)

We just completed our 10 day tour with Dimuthu. It was incredible! We can’t speak highly enough of Mr. D. He showed us much more than we ever thought we would see. He showed us so many animals, temples, and historic sites, Dimuthu knew so much history and shared so much knowledge of Sri Lanka with us. From Negombo to Mirissa, Dambulla to Yala.. he knew it all... He brought us to all the best restaurants and even bought us a white snapper for dinner in Arugam Bay and arranged for his friends restaurant to prepare it for us. It was delicious! We would highly recommend blue haven and Mr. D, as a driver and tour guide. He made our honeymoon that much more special. Thank you so much to Dimuthu, our brother. Jay and Britt Mang from Canada

Mr linton helped me when i missed my train and organised a driver for 6 days even though I wasn't sure of my itinerary. When my plans changed he was helpful and even gave me a refund. He was always easily contactible on WhatsApp to give advise. Very friendly man with reasonable rates for a tour. My driver dimuthu was very nice and keen to help me, he took me on beautiful roads and helped me buy things from local shops. He was happy to go to different hotels so i could see them when i didn't have a booking. I would be a little cautious with his recommendations of hotels as these seem to be the most expensive in the area. Really glad i used this company and had dimuthu. Much better than catching taxis from place to place.

Dimudhu was very professional and gave me good advice to avoid tourist scams during our tour. Mr. Linton is very insightful and the experience was great.

We met mr Linton at the railway station, and asked him for a quote for 3 days travel from Trincomalee to Sigirya to Kandy. As he came in cheapest we went with him. He quoted for a grand Hiace Van with air con. What we actually got was a very old Toyota Corolla with no seatbelts and a driver with dubious driving skills. ( he was lovely and informative otherwise, but his driving… eek). Normally I wouldn’t mind about seatbelts etc but we feared for our lives for two hours that first night. The headlights did not illuminate the road- they seemed to light the bushes to the left instead. It was torrential rain and the driver slowed to a stop every time there was oncoming traffic. He crept into the opposite lane and slid to the left as he couldn’t see. We begged him to let us drive or stop and adjust the lights. No joy. Traffic behind us were blaring their horns and we thought our time was up. We took twice as long to travel the hour’s journey. We complained to Linton, who merely said “ let me know of your ideas”. Not/ “I’m so sorry, I will send a better car to you now “. We could not travel in the dark for the next day so adjusted our plans. The reason for the old heap car was “ The good one has a broken engine” - not the same story from Linton, so I suspect this is not true. Other reviews seem to say the same.. Hideous hideous experience. Don’t trust him

We met Mr. Milton at the Colombo train station by chance. He offered us a privat driver for our stay in Sri Lanka. So we booked a package for three days. The driver picked us up at our Hotel in Kandi and we went with him to Dambulla where we did the classic things (Sirigiya, Pidurangala, etc). We then extended to one week and included the drive to Ella, Nuwara Eliya, and Yala national park and final stop at Dickwella. The driver always took us to all the good spots and took care of all our luggage, for example during the train ride from Nuwara Eliya he drove our stuff to Ella and picked us up at the train station which made the experience a lot more comfortable. Our driver Senarath, was always on time and very reliable, which I liked a lot. Also it was very important to him that we learned some basic things about the culture in Sri Lanka and he explained a lot to us which was very interesting. The prices were absolutely fair! About 50€ per day always depending on the route you took and the distances. So I can only recommend the tours offered. We had a really good time with Sera :)
