Palace

is

to
the
North
of
the
temple

the
forest
reserve
called
“Udawaththa
Kelaya”
to

known
as
“Kiri
Muhuda”
to
the
South
and
“Natha
&
Paththini
Devala”
on
the
West.
The
temple
is
adorned
with
intricate
carvings
using
gold,
silver,
bronze
and
ivory.
