Have some respect for the town, can hear your music pumping over 150 meters away, sounds like it’s in my room, you don’t need it that loud. Midnight on a Monday. It’s not a party town. Its a place where people come to relax and see nature. Thanks for ruining my days plans for tomorrow…

I had a bad experience of not delivering the requested quality and deliberately overpricing. It was a unpleasant experience. 1200 for a double shot "cappuccino". 5250 for two coffees that tasted of earth and two French fries. I was in a hurry to leave. The place has huge potential though with its view over the active cricket field and cozy decor. They do not make their own coffee - but haul it from next door. At payment you await internall payment and then final payment. The coffee down town was levels above and cheaper - look for the cafe on the left with the big machine.

Very expensive here I ordered a fish and parata takeaway and it was not put in a correct container and leaked all over our clothes which wrecked them as it would not come out in the wash I had to wait over 40 minutes for it and then we threw it in the bin as it went everywhere I suggest you get some proper containers for your takeaways so it does not spill on people

Super cozy bar. Lots of sofas to chill and great electronic music progressive house and psy trance (though chill) No people on my pictures as it's 10 am :) it's open round the clock

Open 24/7 and located close to Ella train station Mandala cafe is a laid back place with food offerings and drinks. Service was a little slow but had two great evenings in there. Upstairs is all about lounging and you could probably get away with a nap or two after a long day's travelling

This place is really nice and the juices are good... I think the view during the evening looks great. Just for drinks... no food in the menu. It is close to the railroad station.

Perfect place to hang out and chill with some beers. It's directly at the train station and it's nice to sit there and watch the people streaming out of the station when the trains arrive. Staff is great and very good to hang out with

Great place, the Lion lager was served in chilled glasses and was cheaper than every other place we tried in Ella. Local and western food options. I had a marguerita pizza and it was spot on, very nice and decent price. They have a proper pizza oven there and loads of comfortable seating. It's the first bar/restaurant as you come out of the station.

We came here straight after getting off the long train from Kandy. Best cocktail I have had so far in Sri Lanka and very reasonably priced. They were very helpful and gave us recommendations for Ella. They are also open 24 hours a day, unlike many other places. Arul was a lovely server and gave us some great food. Would definitely recommend for anyone in Ella

Great upstairs lounge area with bean bags, swings and beds with tables...perfect for a tranquil afternoon tea and coffee and right in front of the Ella train station!

Randomly went to this place. Just Amazing. Crazy vibe, opened till late night. Good music, good people. Definitely recommended.

Chill place in the station road of Ella, there are different types of seating arrangements so you have more choices and also good privacy as well. Very delicious food for the best price we ordered their special pizza, Prawn spaghetti, Chicken Kottu all dishes are delicious and make you full. Recommend their cocktails also which is really nice

Very chill place. Open 24/7 right opposite the train station. Lots of couches and comfy places to hang out. Good music, hookah. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great Place! Only place realy open 24 hours. Perfect for dancing drinks and having a good time. Drinks are cheap and the food is great. Also smoking a Shisha there is just so chill. Would totally recommend. See you again :)

We arrived in Ella and once off the train you are greeted by this awesome chilled bar/restaurant. We arrived in the dark and the bar is lit up which was a welcome sight. We tried the food and that was sooo good. There is a huge drink selection too. I had my favorite Arrack🤪🤪 Our waiter Arul was super friendly and chatted to us. They have amazing swing seats for 2 and large comfy sofas to chill out on. Really cool tunes and the smell of burning intense is calming. They are open 24/7 by the way😜 Highly recommend this place it’s fantastic.

Very chilled out cafe close to Ella train station. Lots of sofas and bean bags. Came here in morning, but I hear its quite the party place and stays open 24.7. Look out for Arul who will take good care of you

Nice cafe, calm location. Juices were good but both of our cheese rottis had no cheese, just plain pancakes.

We liked it a lot! The food was soo delicious (we had Kottu) and the lassis and juices as well! The atmosphere is really relaxed and the staff friendly. The price of the food is good, the beverages are rather expensive.

Really nice place to chill and have few drinks! The staff is lovely, one night I had such a good time (and loads of arrack) with the owner and his local friends! Thank you guys!
