This was my worst AirBnB experience. Our friend had a birthday and we bought some groceries to make breakfast. But the staff said that there was no gas due to problems in the country, and the electric stove was not working. I have been living in Sri Lanka for two months and I know about the problems, and I also know that you can buy gas if you need it. At my requests to resolve the situation, the staff told me to contact Colombo. And then they forgot English. So, we just loose our money on food Our second friend had to work, but there was no WiFi. He lost his time and money besides that: - one toilet paper for 6 rooms - no hot water in the morning - VERY dirty - AC in some rooms doesnā€™t work - TV in some rooms doesnā€™t work - the plumbing worked poorly - it was very difficult to get to the villa by bus - VERY dirty again

Good place to stay an overnight if you love colonial bungalows. This is situated on a top of mountation clsoeby Peradeniya and the way to bungalow is well built with concrete, but having a zigzag slope. The bungalow is old, the maintainace is slow as well. But the rooms are ok with the money you pay for it. Relaxed and calm environment could be enjoyed. Mountation range could be visible to you when you come out of the bungalow to the garden. Also you can see a Kandy Garden there with lots of herbal and fruit trees.

So the place is not that bad although it's obviously old and corroded. The staff here is very friendly and the service is superp. The WiFi doesn't work the tv's don't work either and last but not least the water is sometimes getting real low. Other than that the scenery is good and well it was a good experience.

Excellent Bungalow. Very good staff and their hospitality is great. Roshan took care of us really well. It's provides good options to stay at historic building as well as modern facility. Food is great ! Biggest plus point is the location and how beautiful the surrounding. Highly recommend to anyone. Close to city center.

Great place if you are at a budget. It a somewhat run down bungalow from the colonial times. But has a lot of history and breath taking views. Great chef as well. Budget was between 30 to 50 pounds B&B.

I have really embarrassed when I ask about the route to the place, Such a difficult road ever I have driven in my life, no proper sing boards displayed where strangers can easily find the place. Kandy Hill Bungalow representative who explained about the route to Kandy Hill Bungalow also not aware about the road, Beautiful place to stay.

Old Building converts in to hotel. Building it self older than 200 years. But road is in very bad shape. Itā€™s very difficult to ride a new car on that road. Also food is bad. Thereā€™s no any kind of menu. Their serve a ā€œ Chicken Fried-riceā€, but it not a my choice. They say itā€™s the only thing they can serve, very disappointing. Also thereā€™s no any kind of beverages, only fresh water bottles. No Fruit Juice or Any kind of Soft Drinks. Building is nice, but it canā€™t called a ā€œHotelā€. Itā€™s very obvious that ā€œ Earlā€™s Groupā€ manage this kind of poor condition hotel. Not a pleasant place to stay.

Bathrooms are not clean, showers and toilets are not working properly , dirty washroom curtains and poor water service. The garden was not maintained properly. not the exact image when youā€™re there at the bungalow. Not worth for your money. Not recommend.
