Best homestay in Kandy, as well as the best we had in Sri Lanka. The house is very comfortable and nice, full of trees, and the hosts are simply amazing. They were very helpful, gave us the best tips and treated us as family. Thank you Sena&Ranjini, we hope to see you again and we will keep in touch for sure. You have now a place in our hearts :)

One word for Evergreen home stay is Excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Doctor and Mrs DeSilva made us feel that their place was Home from Home for us. Evergreen gave me the best service and the hospitality. Flexibility and the go beyond rule also a great thing. Quality and the taste of the food is also great. You can feel a unique taste with it. This is a lovely place with a lovely care. Visit this place and it will give you a lovely memory. I will also visit this place again.

I stayed at Evergreen for two nights. Ranjini and her husband are wonderful, caring and engaging hosts. On both days Ranjini made me a delicious breakfast. Her home feels like a home from home. It’s in a quiet, tranquil area, but but not too far from the city centre. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing location and so hospitable. Really lovely host family, our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will recommend to everyone we know, thank you for having us. Tip: try the evergreen omelette 😉.

A cool and peaceful haven on the hill above Kandy. Perfect location to relax after sightseeing, being only a short tuk tuk ride to the centre but feeling a world away. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating with great food and conversation. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Kandy.

Amazing homestay and owners. A nice quiet area in the hills with everything you need. Amazing attentive hosts with a nice big breakfast included. Both owners speak great English and love to chat and exchange stories about sri lanka, the nature, and anything else you might enjoy. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Evergreen. It’s on a village on the outskirt of Kandy and from the moment I stepped out of the Tuk Tuk, I was greeted very warmly by my hosts and felt very welcome. They very kindly offered me some Tea and cakes which was a very nice touch and I really appreciated it after a long travel from Ella. I had dinner there as well and had some fantastic food prepared by Ranjini. I have really enjoyed how attentive Ranjini and her husband were to make my (short) stay in Kandy worthwhile. They helped arranging a tuk tuk and an itinerary to see the main sights of Kandy in a record timing. I also really enjoyed the great discussions with my hosts I’d really recommend for anyone looking for a home stay, fantastic experience

Great little homestay with a retired couple who truly care that you have a good experience in Kandy. They recommended drivers and activities to do and help you organize everything. The homecooked meals were delicious as well!
