We came across this brunch restaurant on our way to Waikiki from Diamond head crater. I would say they don't serve authentic Hawaiian food, but their own version of some local dishes. Trust me it tasted really good. We tried their Loco moco on Fried rice and pancakes with Sunrise special. You need to pay for parking like few dollars to get in the entrance. The staff was very quick and served the food fast. The menu is relatively simple and easy to pick.

Good breakfast spot outside of Waikiki. We didn’t have to wait for a table. The food was delicious and I love the fried rice!!! The parking lot next to it does charge for a fee so just be aware.

Savory flavors and generous portions made this place one of my favorites during this visit to Hawaii! We started with a single honey biscuit, grilled, which served with honey butter was great. Just note that the biscuit grilled costs extra, which our waiter probably forgot to mention. As entrees we ordered their take on the loco moco which substitutes the usual hamburger patty for ribeye! But because we were hungry we ordered the patty as well haha. This was a big dish, be aware. We also ordered their pancakes and a side of home style potatoes that they don’t always have, both were decent. All in all I’d come again if looking for big breakfast. A note about parking for people driving: it seems that they border a big public lot that I didn’t know about until after searching for street parking.

Update: We ordered the Big Kat off the secret menu. It's too much for one person unless you're a big eater, we shared it. Two eggs over corned beef hash over ribeye steak with fried rice with gravy and portuguesse sausage on the side. The food and the service was again excellent. We went there at 9am on a Thursday with no waiting. The service was excellent once we were able to get seated. The dining area is very small. But it was definitely worth the wait. I loved the Loco Moke with ribeye steak, which was perfect med rare and very tender. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. We just found another great breakfast restaurant to put on our list when we go to Waikiki or Kailua.

There were some wonderful items on the menu (Liliko'i Pancakes were fantastic!) and the special "Breakfast Tacos" were delicious. Although, I would have liked to have a bit more of the Lilikoi sauce with the pancakes. The "home-made corned beef hash" was not very good. The corned beef was ground so fine that it was mushy. I was expecting to have the meat chopped with potato and green onion (yes, there were green onions in the patty, but I didn't taste any potatoes in it). I ordered my hash browns extra crispy and they were prepared perfectly. The toast comes "dry," so I asked for butter and jam. The butter never showed up, but a few packets of jelly arrived at the table. I will definitely go back and have the pancakes and I will try a few different items. The parking lot in the back is very convenient, small fee and only takes credit cards.

I made sure to get in here first thing Friday morning and let me tell you this is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! The server was so kind to let me know I could have the best of both worlds by having both the Veggie Omlette and a single Lilikoi Pancake. Both were perfect. The omlette was an amazingly savory blend of veggies with just the perfect amount of cheese so it was perfectly balanced. The pancake was like a pillow I didn't want to get up from and I would drink the lilikoi sauce from a pitcher if I could. The orange zest on top was a perfect touch. I cannot wait to come back!

What a gem! Our absolute favorite breakfast spot in the area. The owner and staff were so nice, and the food was delicious. They claim to have the best pancakes on the island and they did not disappoint. My husband also said that was the best omelette he’s ever had. The coffee and muffins were delicious as well. Can’t go wrong with this little spot. It gets busy on the weekends so get there early.
