Ulavi caves ❤️ Gem of Karnataka 💛❤️ There are only two roads in Ulavi. One road enters into the town and the other road lead to the caves. Take a guide along with you while visiting the caves, especially during monsoons. In summer months, I am sure that there will be big crowds visiting this place. No animals would like to stay so near to human presence. Very few people visit this place during monsoon. One important cave inside is “Vibhooti Kanaja”, which means a place where sacred ash is stored. There are also other caves like Akka Nagammana gavi and Rudrakshi Mantapa which you can visit. But the last and the main cave was Akala gavi. Ulavi Caves known as Akalagavi by localities. It is an adventures place. While walk down from the hill we pass through a Chilume Honda. it is a natural fresh water spring. People believe that it has special properties and cure certain health problems. To go inside the Akalagavi we can only pass one by one in a Narrow hole. Visit madi enjoy madi 😃 Don't throw plastic paper or snakes cover near the caves. And also don't write anything on the rocks it's a holy and peaceful place so try to preserve this places. Be a responsible traveller/ tourist whatever you bring just carry them back aste 🤘

Akala gavi also called as ulavi Forest which is one of the tiger reservoirs in India. You will get more number of black panther in this forest. And the forest is also very well maintained as it is not famous for public for trekking. You will get a ashram near the forest where still pure religious people and children's are there. Many children near by villages will come to ashram to serve I was really inspired by the boy I met there. Best forest I have ever seen till now.
