I think a one time visit is recommended for the variety of dishes they offer. For someone who loves fish and wants to try varieties, this is a safe haven. The pricing is on the higher side but maybe justified by the quality and freshness of the food they serve. Reasonably good seating space and limited car parking is available(can get difficult during peak period like lunch time)

Variety of fish dishes. No curry had the same taste, each tasted different from another. Small hotel with only basic amenities. The taste made them unique. Excellent service. Basic meal cost only ₹50/-; add on fish curries have price of a 3 star hotel.

A place meant only for fish lovers. Excellent service and good variety of fish. We ordered Kalanchi fry, Karimeen curry, Varaal curry, prawns roast. All the dishes were good , different marination and way of cooking. However, we felt that the fry was not that great, hence reducing a star. It's best to avoid peak hours as getting a seat and parking might get difficult.

Tasty seafood dishes. They are managing very well with their limited space even no parking area. The only suggestion is to consider the prices of dishes, place a board regarding details of dishes prices. That will be good enough for ordinary people to understand how much they will spend.

Awesome place for fish lovers loved their way of treating guests and as usual tasty food. The only demerit to say is less seating capacity but that doesn’t change any quality in taste.will recommend all my friends to visit the place.

Great Sea Food was a really great experience having lunch here. We came here based on a recommendation from a friend and after watching a few videos online. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the place was free when we arrived around 12:30 PM noon, but soon it had guests coming in after us. Meeshakkaran's son greeted us and he was a friendly person. We were delighted to see that only Sea Food, Meals, and Kappa were available, which was exactly what we wanted. He recommended their best sellers and we decided to try the Varal Curry, prawns fry, Karimeen roast, Seer Fish Tawa Fry, and Kalanji gravy. Out of all the dishes, the prawns and Seer fish stood out and were absolutely outstanding. The pricing at this place is reasonable, which adds to the overall appeal. Not only is the food great, but the ambience is also neat and airy, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Moreover, the staff were all neatly dressed and really hospitable, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our visit.

A humble roadside restaurant to have freshly prepared fish items. Had Podi meen fry, prawns roast, baraal pollichathu, vatta fry. The best among them was baraal pollichathu

You will definitely love to have your lunch here on your trip. They have a variety of fishes. They start at around 12:30. You may find a queue to enter. The price is a little bit to the higher side which could have been maintained in such a way that all would be willing to go there. Anyways no one is going to have one spicy daily lunch. The service is excellent. A must visit!!

This is placed in the pocket road of NH stretch from Trivandrum to Cochin ….this is an exclusive seafood place …great meals with fish is the highlight of the place …there is some parking space which is adjacent to the sitting area …but entry to parking is a bit congested …this is placed adjacent to a railway level cross …coming to food the meals with side dish provided along with meals is just average…Dileepettan was all over the place and he suggests a lot of items with a smile and he definitely make us feel the warmth ….however I would suggest you to stick with what dishes you would love to have ….we had thala curry (fish head curry ), mean mutta ( fish egg), varaal curry and Kalanji fry …I liked the kalanji fry apart from that though items were unique and different…didn’t feel that they are out of the world or something …prices are too high for the ambiance and service provided ….overall I would say not worth the hype you see and hear about the place

I had the pleasure of dining at Meesakaran Dileepettante Kada during a lunch break from my class at St. Michael's College, Cherthala, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. Based on the glowing recommendations from my friends and faculty at the college, my expectations were high, and I must say, they were well met! This quaint eatery may be small in size, but it's mighty in ambiance, exuding the warmth and simplicity of a true Kerala home. Contrary to the typical multi-cuisine fare, this gem focuses solely on seafood, and the authenticity of flavors they bring to the table is unparalleled. The traditional 'nadan' style meals I had, alongside the prawns roast, varal pollichathu, and especially the kalanji fry, were all exceptionally mouthwatering. It's rare to come across flavors so genuine and well-crafted that they leave a lasting impression, but the kalanji fry here did just that, etching its taste in my memory. Observing Meesakaran Dileepettan with his son managing the place was heartwarming. The son's vitality and customer service were commendable. His personal touch in taking orders, engaging with the customers, and his conscious effort to suggest items that suited our palates were noteworthy. His guidance on portion sizes to prevent food and money wastage was a thoughtful gesture that resonated with me. The facility to cool off with chilled mineral water and soft drinks was much appreciated in the Kerala heat. It's these small comforts, combined with the delicious food and friendly service, that make for a perfect dining experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Meesakaran Dileepettante Kada. For anyone craving an authentic Kerala seafood meal, this place is a must-visit. Their commitment to quality, flavor, and genuine care for customers make it a standout. See you soon!

Visited this place very first time—a small shop with not more than 20 seats, inconveniently placed near a railway cross. It's hectic during the lunch hours, and ques are expected daily. When you arrive, make sure that you are in the queue and always watch your position in it as most people try to get in as quick as they can. Dileepettan and his son (?) are very cheerful and welcoming and very apologetic for keeping the customers waiting for a long time in the queue. This place specialises in meals with fish in all forms, fry, curry, pollichathu etc.. We had kanambu fry, prawns fry, hammur curry, varal pollichathu, chembally curry along with rice .needless to say its very tastey . There are small parking areas near the shop but be very careful to stay away from the oncoming traffic along the road .

The best💯💯 The place was very much crowded, that itself shows what kind of a food this place serves. The taste was absolutely amazing. Fish was fresh and it was cooked well with those flavorful masalas. Ambience was good. The service was top notch. The way the staff their treats people is simply awesome. Must visit place when you are in Cherthala or Alleppey or any place nearby.

The taste is not as good as madhoos cherthala. Fish was fresh and nicely cooked but the masala was not so great or something which will make us to recommend to others. Price also was high when compared to other such setups.

Nice food. Service could be better. The waiters are not very friendly and don't refill your plate very often. However, if you ask them they will happily do it. The food served are very tasty and budget friendly. We had prawns roast and Neymeen fry both were very tasty. Prawns was extremely good. taste of masala was little less and was able to understand the actual taste of prawns. Prawns was 250 and neymeen was 350 both seemed okay for that price. Portion size of neymeen could be a bit more bigger. The oonu was also nice. Overall a nice hotel to have sea food dishes.

Must try place.. I haven't eaten such a delicious 'karimeen pollichathu' ever in my life.. This place is pretty small and may look below ordinary.. But never let that simple outside looks deceive you. It's a taste paradise especially for fish lovers... But consider yourself very lucky if you get to eat from here without waiting in a queue. You will never regret visiting this place..

Delicious and mouthwatering food in an affordable price. Must try items are the varal curry and chemmeen roast. Ample dining space , Neat and clean surroundings, experienced and helpful staff and parking facilities are the main features. Unlike some other shops here we can experience the real taste of fish varieties . Near to the highway and easy to commute . Suitable for dining with any kind of circles like family , friends, colleagues etc.

The place is very famous for seafood. We have to wait little longer to get inside and also the place is not having an air conditioner. But the food and service is very tasty and madhu chettan the main chef he came to each table and suggest food. Varal mulakittathu and fish egg is recommended.

Must visit this place, fish lovers are welcome here. I tried most of the dishes. I enjoyed the food. Meeshakkaran was so friendly and helped my family with what to order. Sorry, I forgot to take photos of the dishes.

Food is delicious, quantity wise plenty to tatse. A bit on the costlier side but worth it. It's too hot to sit there and have especially when food is too spicy... All are really Friendly. I felt There's a lot of mess and confusion in taking orders. Needs to be more organised.
