Patratu valley is in Ranchi kanke road. It is about 35 km far from Ranchi railway station. It is famous for its natural beauty. The road is in hairpin band which is very adventurous. The entire valley is surrounded with trees which is dense. The road goes to the Patratu dam which is another mind blowing attraction. Patratu valley was very famous and beautiful place. Wonderful road. Awesome blue reservoir with lot of activities for all ages. Nice place for a day outing where the children will not get bored. Had lunch at Alexa resort which is located in a nice place. You can easily spend a couple of hours in the resort. Good food.

I left some piece of me at this valley. Go for a bike ride and you will find the original beauty of Ranchi. Nature Lover like me will enjoy the beautiful views. An incredible bike ride with amazing roads! The roadside food stalls are great, but they close by sunset. We visited the Patratu Boating Area from 4:30-5:00, and though it was beautiful, I’d recommend going earlier to enjoy more. A perfect mix of nature, food, and adventure.
