My spouse and I had our anniversary dinner here, and while the food was delicious, there weren't many vegetarian options. The ambience was great and the hospitality outstanding.

Extremely limited menu, lack of attention, overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend at all. We were there for a birthday dinner, asked for a candle to be put on the dessert, was told they don’t have candles. 😜 for a 5 star restaurant this is a shocker…. There were hardly any patrons, but the waiters weren’t attentive at all. Portion size is small. Lack of options shld be specified to the patrons upfront by letting them know that they are operating on a limited Menu. Had to ask for serving spoons and serve ourselves inspite of replying in affirmative that yes pl serve us the food. Not a big deal but then don’t ask 🤣 One of the head chef was yelling at his staff near the bar inspite of patrons being present - rookie mistake esp for a 5star restaurant.

The mushroom soup was out of this world. The lamb ragout papradelle was good, too. Chicken Parmigiana could have been better. While the tomato concasse was excellent, the chicken was overdone and hard. Service however was top notch! Thanks for everything, will be back soon.

This used to be one of our favorite places, drink wine and have a great meal out. The atmosphere was quiet and nice with the lights down and candles at your table. Now it seems the chef is gone and Italian food is no longer Italian food. It’s more Indian version of what Italian food should look like or taste like. I wouldn’t go back unless a lot changes because the cost was the same very expensive more like U.K. prices but for the food and now bright light atmosphere is not worth it anymore.

Brilliant Italian restaurant. The chef was very warm and personally went up to all the tables. We ordered the chicken pizza which was absolutely fantastic. The crust was fluffy and the cheese and sauces were perfect. We also got a cannelloni with chicken which was again amazing. We wanted something with seafood and the chef offered to make a risotto that was not on the menu. It was definitely a very unique dish although the tuna in it had an overpowering aroma. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

We went on a dinner date at Alto Vino to taste the famous Italian cuisine. Chef Abhishek who amused us with an exciting and incredible 5 course menu was an excellent host. The food was top notch. The creativity and flavors of each and every dish was outstanding. The night couldn't have been better. Everything was perfect. Big thanks to Chef Abhishek for giving us the taste of Italy. Felt like we were eating somewhere in Venice.

Don't get me wrong it is not bad... It could just be better. The atmosphere is that of a hotel Restaurant Vs a chique Italian Dinner Experience. The pasta was cooked (almost) perfect, but the tastes were overwhelmed by too much truffle. The tiramisu was taste, but a lot of it. To transform this dish into a more haute cuisine experience: less is more.

Just swung by Alto Vino at the hotel for dessert, and oh boy, the Tiramisu was next-level goodness! 🍰 Seriously, it's the kind that makes you close your eyes and savor every bite. If you're a dessert fan, don't miss out on this heavenly treat! 😍👌

Food taste was amazing. One of the best place for Italian food. Staff was very courteous as expected from a Marriott restaurant.

It's like a home away from home. This was only made possible by Mr. Maro the head Chef and Chef Hubert. Thanks a million for making the experience an unforgettable one. The Lobster ravioli, Osso buco with saffron risotto, Tiramisu and Semifredo just blew my mind and is a must try item. Great food and service. Love the environment, friendly n homely. If u want home made Italian food(Grandma recipe) this is the place to be. Chef Hubert is everything what u call a passionate cook, friendliest chef.

Overpriced, OK food and ripped off on the beverages. I understand that every restaurant and hotel in the world will have a mark up of circa ‘n’ hundred percent. If you are going to serve cold red wine, at least have the decency to remove the MSRP from the bottle, and do not list 15 vodkas in your drinks menu and only have 3 available because the rest are in the bar. Please note, a double measure is typically 5cl or 50ml, again normally you are asked by your waiter whether you would like a single or double. The latter did not happen and I was amused (minus the bouche... another story) at being charge 1550 Rupees each for a Grey Goose and 10 yo Talisker... they were not doubles... I suppose I should comment on the food, Carrots on a pizza... nope, Pepperoni pizza; the tomato sauce was really nice and the Spaghetti with prawns, chilli and herb oil, was well received. Finally the deserts or desserts were very good. The only star goes to the entertainment for the evening which was by far the funniest karaoke ‘we’ have endured. £180 for 3 people, never again!

The drink is good. But risotto was hard rice didn’t absorb the flavour. Tortellini shell was hard didn’t absorb the sauce. Cocktail sauce as definitely 5 star. But food is 2 star at best

Chef Karan, Rajesh and Hussain took very good care of us. The New Zealand lamb shank, the salmon and the cannolis were very well prepared. Look forward to coming back to another visit!

Starting with the food really really average especially for the really high price point. The sourdough pizza wasnt even made with sourdough. Whilst one server was profesional the other was rather rude and passive aggressive which made the already average experience worse. There were a bit of pests on some tables we changed tables though so that was ok

The chef then said he would make gambi with a potato side which was a stack of thinly sliced but surprisingly uncooked potatoes, undersalted prawns and squares of bread with mayo and "tomato jam" that tasted like delmonte ketchup!! As a last attempt at redemption the chef insisted we try his Neopolitana Pizza. Considering it was a simple enough dish we waited for a while to receive a pizza base with tomato sauce and sliced local tomatoes which were untouched by the pizza oven. I'm wondering whether those who have given anything above 2 stars have discerning pallets. The only good thing was that we got a complimentary bottle of wine for waiting again the restaurant for 2 hours.

Lovely ambience. Good food. We had welcome meal combo. Dal makhani was excellent. It's like a thali but without the dessert. We also tried a bowl of Thai green curry with jasmine rice. Both good. Excellent friendly service.

Been to Alto-Vino for a formal dinner and was delighted by newly joined Italian Chef Mauro. Every single staff is so hospitable, they understood the need and fulfilled the preferences, chef made the dishes out of the menu too. Its a highly recommended place for the Italian food seekers.

I had a confirmed booking through Zomato (with an email received) for a booking for 2 for 14th Feb 2024, where I was to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The reservation was for 7 pm, and at 2 pm I get a call telling me my reservation cannot be honoured because their system has a technical glitch, and they are completely sold out. If you folks cannot honour a reservation, why go through Zomato? Oh, and an anniversary celebration gets ruined, but I guess that's fine - many other customers to fill your seats up. Bravo guys. Way to do it.
