I love this shop. It is the only bead store I know of in Charlotte and I always find a wonderful assortment of beads and findings. My 2 issues with the shop are: 1. Not every bead states what material it is composed of and 2. It is a bit elitist. I hate being negative, so this is not something easy for me to say. Every time I have visited the store over the past few years, there is at least one customer in the store who has a sales representative seemingly assigned to to them as they are obviously a customer who spends a great deal of money in the store. This can be off-putting to other customers. Just because a store representative does not know how much each customer is 'worth' does not mean they do not all deserve equal attention. Possibly there is enough staffing to assign a personal shopper to anyone who would like assistance. That could be the case. I have always been asked if I needed help and I do decline as I like to shop alone. But, it does seem like this store caters to the wealthy. If I am incorrect, then I apologize, this is simply my perspective, from the multiple times I have visited the store.

Love the selection at this store. Also makes a great gift giving for the lady friend. Very good quality items that are worth any trip to acquire.

The owner Christine rethreaded a necklace for me and then designed a new necklace with my grandmother's beads. She has a great eye for detail and fashion. Lots of cool beads, finished pieces and very nice employees to help you. I can hardly wait to go back. 11/2023 Update: Took my granddaughter for her 1st visit. She made her own special necklace. She loved it and wants to go back soon. Erica redesigned my Native American beads to make 2 amazing necklaces I want to wear every day.

Great place to get a thread of glass beads. The individual piece items can be a bit higher priced, but the $4 strands are a great price point. Love all the new colors I got on my last visit and we’ve been making with them for hours creating unique pieces.

Very nice location and they got plenty of parking spots in the back. And everyone has a always ready to help you. The beads selection is huge. ❤️❤️❤️ and I really appreciate that they packed everything in paper wrap and paper bag and no plastic at all 👌

I found this shop when I came down to visit my son. I really like the selection and the staff was helpful. Labeling the strands would be great as I asked them about a couple different strands and they weren't able to tell me what they were. I purchased a few strands without know what type of stone/crystal they were because I loved the beads. I will visit next time I'm in NC.

Beads Inc is my favorite jewelry supply store! The owner and the ladies that work there are extremely kind and sweet. They are very knowledgeable and are always there of you need help putting a piece together. I highly recommend this store.

For years I had several beautiful but broken necklaces with the parts all in a bag. I stumbled across this business online and sent them pics of my necklaces with the broken pieces. They said sure we can restring these, send them to us. I did that and they contacted me within days of receipt and told me that there were all repaired. I paid them over the phone and had my necklaces in 2 days. They looked just like that had when I bought them years ago only stronger and with a better toggle clasp. This has an very amazing and inviting atmosphere for creators and craftspeople. The space is beautiful, clean, well organized. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and family owned. 20 yrs of experience with 8 yrs in this location. A large variety of materials in stones, crystals, coral, wood, bone and the list goes on. Many sizes, colors, cuts and shapes available. Plenty of available parking as well. Great experience today!

What can I say? Everything about this store is perfect. It’s beautiful, well organized, and the service is amazing, every single time. I’ve been a very long time customer of theirs and I will continue going to them for years to come. I do have a bit of a drive these days and when I’m not able to just pop into the store, I’ve also ordered from them online. My last online purchase was in the mail within 30 minutes of my purchase and arrived to my house the very next day. Also, Ann is a gem! 💎
