Davida, my esthetician, was simply amazing! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel incredibly comfortable and at ease, even though I'm not usually one to strike up conversations. Surprisingly, the pain was nowhere near as bad as the first time, thanks to her skillful technique and engaging personality. Davida kept me talking throughout the session, which helped me take my mind off the process. It was evident that she genuinely cared about her clients' experience. After my appointment, I felt so pleased with the results and the overall atmosphere that I'm confident in saying I've found my go-to place for waxing. If you're looking for a professional and welcoming place to get waxed, I highly recommend Davida's services. She's turned my skeptical outlook into a positive one, and I'll undoubtedly be back for future treatments. I was nervous getting a Brazilian wax for the first time, but I am so glad I got it done with Pure Sugar in Matthews. Bella was amazing! She was very nice and personable. She was so easy to talk to and because of this, I felt calm and at ease during my wax. Towards the end, I said to myself, “This wasn’t too bad as what people made it seem”, but it’s mainly because of Bella and Pure Sugar. I will definitely continue coming here for my waxing needs. If you’re wanting to get any type of wax done, just do it! You won’t regret it!

My second experience with waxing was here. The first was at another place and was not very good. The first experience was over four hours long and left me with what looked like minor burns in my back. I had reservations about it getting done again but I tried to be brave and Thankfully Maria redeemed the whole process for me. Her professionalism and care are some of the best I have experienced. I would recommend her to anyone of any gender. I get most of my body waxed and Maria gets it done quickly, with as little pain as possible and I haven’t had any other issues with my skin. I have very sensitive skin and eczema so I pose a couple of extra problems, you would never know based on her skill. If you are thinking of trying out this place, do it! Thanks Maria!

Isabella (Bella) is the best! This was my first wax since moving to Charlotte and it was nothing short of amazing! Great conversation, little to no pain (my pain tolerance is high but still), the establishment/wax area was super clean, and my little 😻 is butter smooth again (TMI sorry not sorry!) Bella made sure I was comfortable and specialized my service to my needs (even after having to push back my appointment because I totally spaced and forgot!) But seriously though, give Pure Sugar and Bella a visit on your next wax you won't be disappointed! (P.S. there could.be a discount on your next wax after your first - it's a win-win🤫)

I had Davida, I just moved here and the welcoming and calming nature she gave off was amazing! She really cares about her clients and take her time in making you feel comfortable. 10/10 Recommend, and can not wait for my next wax session with Davida!!:)

First wax place I’ve been to in Charlotte that subsequently does not result in skin irritation. They are kind and do a lovely job shaping my brows.

I went to this salon yesterday, and the waxing was with Isabella, who was very polite, helpful, attentive, and very friendly, however the receptionist greeted me with great unwillingness, it seemed like she didn't even want to be there working, at the very least she would have to be more polite! I would return 100 times for Isabella, but the reception left a lot to be desired!
