One of the ancient temple of kanpur. This Mandir is very famous and auspicious situated in the heart of Kanpur Nagar. A good place to visit with Family and friends. There is lot of shops near this temple for every need. There is two dwaar to enter this temple. Poorva dwaar is at front of bara devi temple and paschim dwaar is at back of the temple. In navratri, there is fair for children and this temple becomes very crowded.

Child beggers try to loot you. They invade your personal space and get too close. Even though the temple popular but management is zero. When I visited..no pujari was there .some local guy took my Prasad and given to baradevi mata. Hindus need to start respecting their Gods. This kind of indifference is not acceptable.

Small kids as begger try to robbed you. Even though you shared some donation still they asked for money. Cleanliness is not there no proper management at all. Need lot of improvement felt very bad nothing changed after these many year.

I am not the right person to give rating to any temple because God or goddess is supernatural power but yes we can give rating to the temple comittee. According to me they should make an arrangement for the cleanliness of temple's surrounding and they should also do something to those people who beg in this area for example - Those people who are capable to do any kind of job they should train these people. If anybody is old or he or she has any kind of physical problem then they should provide them food and clothing and they should do effort so that every old person can get the benefit of old age pension. They should try to stop the begging

The fair that is decorated twice the year in the Hindu mythological festival of 9 to 10 days Calles navratri in which goddess Durga maa is worshipped with her nine different forms. In this fair all the daily use things being used by our mothers sisters and aunts are being selled and the most interesting fact about these fairs is that the most rush is being done by the females ..๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜œ it also a very interesting place for playing children who are below 10 as these fairs are having too much swings like giant wheel Columbus etc.the most important thing being discussed is about the security purpose of this fair which truly fabulous ,since 10 years or more no chain snatching ,thefts being reported here and it is all being monitored by drones 24ร— 7 during the fairs so it's not possible to do or move a bit vulnerable thing being done in this fairs .
