One of the oldest well known hang out place in mangalore.. They have Ac , non Ac and family room (small one though which has 2 tables) This place is known to serve delicious Food.. Service was bit slow though... We ordered -Chicken in bon chilly sauce (it is spicy with the pinch of sweetness but one ingredient was bit harsh on taste buds) -Chicken deep chilly (perfect spicy) -Squid butter garlic sauce ( this Is kinda creamy texture which tastes like white sauce of pasta) -Kheema rice (must have) -Classic Carmel custard 🍮 (didn't like it as it was too sweet and thick) Ambiance is good but bit congested if you want to sit in the family room better to reserve it as there are only 2 tables.. Parking is bit difficult..

The food is tasty, but the management here is very bad. Especially the manager here is very rude. He doesn't know how to speak. I had gone with my friends and my friend ordered chicken steak but when the order arrived it was something else n it was messy. We had to speak to the management which was very bad experience. The manager, when he was talking to her he pointed middle finger again and again. Overall a bad experience ever. Whoever has hired the manager here, seriously gotta talk to him once again.

The management is rude and I asked for the steak and they gave me some gravy and the manager started fighting with me and forced me to take the order. And most importantly, maneger was talking and pointing middle finger while talking.. The manager mentioned to pay for it if am not eating also.... Worst service....

The best resto bar in town. This place is cosy and gives you a warm feeling, what else you need with your beer?! Every time we visit this place it's a wonderful experience!! You get great ambiance, great food and drink and great service nothing more you can ask for when you need spend a nice afternoon or evening. Prices are pocket friendly but parking can be an issue.

It's was good experience Cozy place with small small tables and chairs . Family sitting facilities are available but they will allow only if you go with kids . Service was not that much good . Perfect place for teenage girls and boys to try their first beer 🍻

Our usual hang out spot back then in Mangalore @froth_on_top_mangalore I visited this place after a long time. Calamari golden fry and lasagna are my all time favourite from here. Fried Calamari is always one of those must-order dishes. I don’t eat fried food too often, but fried calamari is one of my favorites.Rings of squid that are super crispy, dipped in a little Marinara or Aioli,THE BEST! Lasagna is nice and cheesy, Lasagna from here is hands down one of the best I've ever had-Higly Recommend. Paneer cheese balls-Absolutely scrumptious!!!The crumbly melt in the mouth exterior and the cheesy inner core made every bite a great experience.

This is an old house converted to a beer pub. Firstly you will be greeted by a friendly security guard who will help you to park your vehicles. The parking space is not much but manageable. You have front porch seating, family room, smoking and no-smoking rooms. I tried pork pepper which became my favorite. Chilli chicken sausage was good but not great. I didn't like chicken salad as it had too much of mayonnaise. In mocktails I tried pinacolada and San Francisco and both were good but more on the sweeter side. The best part is the table where they have arranged menus in such a way that you can view the menu from all 4 sides of the table. I found this unique and very smart. Also this place is full of doodle art, and jokes put in a frame, even in washrooms🤭

Just add keema rice and chicken nuggets to your order right away. Teriyaki chicken was too sweet. The squid was pretty good. Mocktails are more like milkshakes, not that great. The staff was not very welcoming.

Froth on Top, a familiar spot, fell short of expectations during my recent visit. While past experiences boasted delicious food, this time was a letdown with offerings that were merely average. The white sauce pasta left much to be desired, tasting oddly reminiscent of milk powder. Even the once standout Chicken Keema Rice now registered as only mediocre. The ambience, while acceptable, and a clean interior were overshadowed by this culinary disappointment. Service, too, was just okay. Parking proved to be a challenge, with limited availability. Despite its previous appeal, Froth on Top's recent decline in food quality makes it difficult to fully endorse, leaving room for improvement in both taste and consistency.

We ordered 4 soups, and the bowl in which the service person gave was this. He gave 2 soups first. And then on asking him regarding the bowl, he didnt say anything. The next 2 soups he got them in these two same bowls. The plate that was provided was not cleaned. Service was very very bad and slow. The portion size was also too less. I will not recommend anyone.

Food at froth on top has gone very bad after lockdown . Their signature dishes have lost its taste and the quantity of food has decreased drastically too. Ordered chicken in butter garlic sauce ( sauce was more than the pieces) and Hunan chicken(as it was mentioned by the waiter that it's one among spicy starters) didn't taste anything like they said. You really need to check on the quality of food!! Otherwise you will lose a loyal customer like me very soon.

Extremely pathetic, had severe food poisoning and was hospitalised after eating kheema rice, and paneer in this place. The paneer dish was bitter and though they replaced this, the other dishes ordered very equally worse. This was one of my go to places in the past, but the quality and cleanliness standards now is disappointing.

Visited this restaurant with high hopes, but was left deeply disappointed. From the get-go, the service was below par. We had to repeatedly clarify our order, but despite our efforts, mistakes persisted. One glaring error was the serving of raw chicken - a basic oversight that's inexcusable in any dining establishment. To make matters worse, on pointing out a previous incorrect meal, it felt as though the extreme seasoning in the subsequent dish was an intentional jab. The only saving grace was the kheema rice, which was flavorful and well-prepared. However, a good meal is not just about the food, but the overall experience. Unfortunately, the lackluster service marred the ambiance and overshadowed the sole decent dish. I truly hope they address these issues for the sake of future patrons.

Ghosh. This place is heaven for me in Mangalore. I live in Saudi Arabia and come to Mangalore every year in December. Whenever I come to Mangalore I have my dinner here. The ambience is great. The food is outstanding. The type of food you ask for and you get it. The alcohol is great. A quiet place. Even families can enjoy. I can go and go and go and go and go talking of this place. The staff are also so nice. Soft spoken and they take good care if it’s customers. This is my favorite place in the whole world. You can enjoy, Goan good, Mangalorean food and also International food.

A cosy space right at the hub of the city, it is a great place to hang out. Amazing servers, food and they dont rush you to keep ordering. Very safe for women and it's the one place I have seen a variety of people have a good time. Check out their other branch in Manipal as well.

This place never disappoints me. Beer and great food. I'm saying this being an Vegetarian. If you ever visit this place, make sure you try the Keema Rice (veg/chicken/mutton)... It's their trade mark recipe and just amazing. Just a simple, mostly crowded place for friends to hangout.

This place has a very very beautiful ambience. Food is so delicious here and amazing service. They accept all type of payment methods including cash, cards and UPI payment modes. Note : There's no parking lot. I parked my 2 wheeler near Juice Junction parking lot. But for 4 wheelers I have no clue.

Great food, great ambiance, great service. Only downsides are, parking can be a issue sometimes and smoking area is pretty small and you'd have to wait for your turn during weekends.

I would rate it 0 if there was an option. Worst service in the world. Bottled water took 20 minutes after I went myself to collect it. Cold coffee 30 mins. French fries 40 minutes. Told manager to cancel our order (starters and mains for 5 people). He said sure leave. Should really change their industry classification from hospitality to unidentified.

The best thing about this place is the cozy ambience. Tables are very close to each other so if your neighbors are loud then bad luck. Food is average. We ordered chicken Lasagna, shredded spicy chicken, lemon chicken. None of them were excellent.

A wonderful place in the heart of the city with wife variety of food options both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. They do serve only Beer and Wine and the ambience is of next level. Mostly visited by Young crowd!

After 7 pm it's usually over crowded and takes long for orders to complete. If you are short on time or hv no patience to wait like me 😂 then better visit before 7pm.

Another must try is the Squid Butter Garlic, Chicken Tawa Fry, Lemon Chicken and the Chicken Kheema Rice. They offer AC as well as outdoor seating. Parking might be a bit of a hassle.

The place is really nice. You can hangout with your friends and relatives as well as your family. The place offers a variety of starters and main courses. The place is usually crowded and often the waiters are really occupied and might get delayed in response to Service. There was an encounter wherein the waiter got really frustrated and angry while users were just questioning him about the details of food, which to be honest they should be aware of and they gave some random thought to it, compared to the actual product. Overall the place is nice and lovely. The food is also good here.
