Edit: Visited again in May 2023. The place continues to remain special. Updated picture of temple timings. One of the oldest temples in the region. Well maintained, clean and managed the way temples are supposed to be. Thankfully this place is still far from the usual commercialisation of hindu temples. Ample parking space available. The temple management does provide accommodation as well. The accommodation provided is pretty basic and good enough for those coming as pilgrims. No fancy, no frills facilities.

Very well maintained and old temple. A very good spiritual experience every time we visit. Darshana ( oracle ) will be available on Wed , sat and Sunday. Please call the office and visit if you are planning for darshana. Basic stay ( guest house ) is available near the temple. Please call the office to book the same. Lot of different seva are available. You will get hannu kayi in the Near by shops.

My most favourite temple. I was born and brought up here in Mulky . Spent most childhood days wandering about all the temple festivals. One of the only few temples in the world to have Lord Ugra Narsimha, the most feared avatar of Lord Vishnu. On special occasions there is Darshana ( Spirit Oracle)

One of the oldest temples of the GSB Community. Its sanctity is well maintained and it's a pilgrimage to visit here. The whole locality around the temple will take you back by a century. A lot of old houses and other buildings are still around. The temple has a lot of legends and lores to tell us. A must visit for every spiritual seeker especially from the GSB Community.

Mulki is a small town on the banks of river Shambhavi. The SVT, Mulki is about 1.5 km from the main bus stand and about 35 km from Mangalore airport. Cabs/Buses from Mangalore and rickshaws from Mulki bus stand are freely available. SVT has three main idols worshiped namely Lord Venkatraman, Lord Narsimha and Lord Bindu Madhav. Please do ensure you check out the Oracle Seva as well. The temple offers free lunch to all devotees, with a coupon provided by temple manager. All transactions need to be via a receipt. The temple also, runs a school for local children as well as a 'Pathshala' to teach Vedic rituals to kids. Ram Navami in April and Pratistha Punnav (Foundation Day) in December are some of the major festivals celebrated at SVT.

Nice temple, #2 in Mulki after Bappanadu. Temple complex has a goshala which was good to visit, a museum was closed due to covid. Photography not allowed inside temple, Has wooden structure with old design lamps. Very popular with Konkani community.

High energy temple. Situated in a quaint little town. One of the principle deity is Ughra Narasimha. Which explains the very high energy feel. Perfect and Ancient rituals are performed here.

Great divine temple. There is a saying that whatever you pray here will be blessed by Venkataramana. He is also known as Paduthirupathi Sreenivasa.

Unfortunately it didn't attain too much priority like Durga parmeshwari temple (whic is just three km). Its one of the oldest temple. Still they are keeping that older version touch by renovation to the current needs. The god pratima is too small unlike the other places. Take some time, the priests are patient to brief about the history of temple. They offer food in afternoon

Much powerful place where Lord Bala ji is living in reality. He is blessing all followers and all world living creatures. And maintaining peace and growing people peacefully.

One of the oldest temples in the south Canara region still following and maintaining the old ways and complex without unnecessary renovations. Do not miss the daily simple Prasad/ Lunch.

A very serene atmosphere and a nicely kept up temple. Every inch has the local and community youth's mark of upkeep and devotion to the reigning deities, of course, with the elders' guidance. Lord Venkataramana, Lord Ugra Narasimha, Lord Bindu Maadhava, alongwith Lord Ganesha preside the place.

One of the oldest in the region. The ugra narasimha is best seen during the pratishtha poornima ( December) when there is a big festival here..

One of the oldest temples of the Konkani GSB community. Temple Trust does a very good job maintaining the temple and entry is allowed to all Hindus. Ample parking space is available and rooms are available for accomodation with basic facilities.

We stayed in Shree Venkatramana Temple Trust from 13th to 16th Nov 2022..this review is written by Mishti Sanghani 10yrs old Open Learner It's nice calm peaceful place is perfect after a lot of travel. And if you have a low budget, Shree Venkatramana Temple Trust is the place for you. Clean rooms, big bath room, good sized bed and pocket friendly. Any time you can go down to the big eating hall where you eat sathvik temple food. For the food, you can give as much as you want. No forced charges. And the temple itself, has a pooja in the morning and the evening, and you can go and see the entire aarti and procession. It's a quiet place and you can sleep all day long in the comfy beds. Talking about beds, just saying that there are no bedbugs or fleas or anything. Like I said, it's very clean and well kept. Even the roads leading to the temple are properly made and you will find a good amount of fruit and vegetable vendors, along with a bunch if bakeries, if you want some cake or there's a birthday or something. The only problem is, that if your a hardcore veg and don't want to eat South Indian food, things become problematic. Because mostly it's be non-veg and if it's veg it'll have only idly vada or South Indian thali. But that's ok. You can figure that out. The only thing I'm trying to say is, the temple is perfect, the food is explorible and they are too good to be true. I would rate it 8.8 out of 10 and I hope you guys also gave a good experience with the place and the stay. Have fun!

Devine atmosphere with sufficient parking and other amenities including staying, toilet etc. Autos charge only ₹50 either way from Mulki bus stop. Can have a darshan of Venkateshwara, Ugra Narasimha and Bindu Madhava simultaneously on a pillar one below the other.

Rating a place of worship is not confined to these stars. Every place has its own ambience and specialities.. Those who worship Narasimha knows the feeling.. Those who don't start believing in him. HE is one powerful God who is known to make impossible things possible.

Nestled among beautiful old houses this temple is very important for the GSB community as well as the tuluvas in Mangalyru. The food served is very popular among the devotees and should not be missed when you visit this temple.
