Frankly speaking- I have been their customer from a very long time about more than 20 years. Their biryani has lost its taste. It is no-longer how it used to be when Rakesh bhaiya was alive.His son's are unable to carry the same taste and legacy. Not recommended, even I don't go there anymore. A lot of improvement is advised for them.

High price for less quantity ... It really lost its legacy. My parents told me about this old shop & its really was a great shop back then but now they charge you 130 for 2 piece biriyani where everyone in kanpur is giving atleast 4 pieces for same price & taste. Please eat somewhere else save your money and use it wisely.

If anyone wants to quit chicken then he must try rakesh biryani 4-5 times continuosly.....

Rakesh Chicken Biryani is very old and popular shop in Kanpur for one the best Chicken Biryani in town. If a person wants to have a delicious Biryani than he must go and visit this place. It is open from 10 am to 3 pm and is located near pared kanpur. If you wish to taste the biryani after 3 pm than it has another branch in fazalganj. The shop is closed on every Tuesday.

Ultimate. A-1. Jitnaa kaho utnaa kam. No one can beat Rakesh Biryani. So authentic....it justifies your ability to taste gud stuff. If a biryani lover goes to Kanpur and does not have Rakesh Biryani, then he hasn't visited Kanpur in real sense.

Rakesh biryani was very old shop...till 2015-2016, quality of food and everything was good but now the time there is no food quality, they are playing with people health....what i feel that they are not using good oil ....i feel that they are mixing refined oil with vanaspati ghee........

A small, not so clean, place but the biryani is just wow. The flavours are very different from your regular biryani. Not spicy at all and they give a bit of curry which lifts the overall taste to the next level...
