Awesome for chaat carving, ambience is so so.. generally crowded

Best chat corner in town, from their Meethe batashe to chaat to kebab paratha, everything is finger licking good. Their soth wali meethi chutney is totally worth it and is completely different from any other chat vendor. My relatives from all over India relish this place and love it. It is a must visit for everyone.

This is a very good place for snacks in Kanpur. I have visited the place several times and the quality they provide is good. However the prices of the items are very high. For example, five golgappe cost 40 here. Anyways one should go and enjoy the chaats here.

What a fantastic test of each n every traditional Indian fast food dishes like kachori, samosa, dahi bhalla, pani puri, every dish is delicious here. Must try Raj kachori. 😋

Loved the chaat at this famous chaat shop in kanpur. Raj kachori is a must try, very tasty with the right spice levels. The place also has a sit down section, maintains good hygiene and highly recommended!

It's better to have amazing "thele wali chat" than spending 50-100 ₹ here just for a chaat which is not even worthy enough 👎👎 I would not recommend you to have chaat here.

This place is very old and famous in kanpur. Please visit this definitely whenever you go to kanpur. Its a Chat house and have all chat varieties. Taste is yummmmmmmm.... Gol Gappe to bahut bahut acche hai yahan ke... reviews likhte time hi muh me paani aa raha mere.

The Chat is one of the famous shop of Swaroop Nagar. The shop is famous for it's Chat as the name tells. They have Aloo Chat, Golgappe, Basket Chat, Raj Kachori, Daniya Aloo, Dahi Badde, Papdi Chat, Dosa, Idli etc. They have also sweets in their menu like Rasgulle, Rajbhog etc. I had tried their Aloo Chat and Dosa, both are tasty and worth the price.

Although this shop is very famous in Kanpur but when I tasted their chaat it's not up to the mark what I heard about their chaat. . We ordered Papdi chaat and aloo tikki chaat. . Both of these was sweet and kind of blanched in flavours. Chaat means it will explode with flavours inside the mouth but what I got was only the taste of sweet chutney. . The proportion was good but the taste was not. . It happens many times that if a place got famous they degrades the quality. That might happened with them. . We visited The Chat to have some paani poori and tikki which I heard is good. But I'm not satisfied at all. Paani was tasteless and tikki was ok. There was not good toppings like pyaj and grated reddish on top. Not up to the mark according to me. They have reduced the quality of the food. Service was ok.

Everything is overrated , staff is rude , the person sitting on the cash counter is super rude even though there was no customer he ignored me for 5 mins , then when you ask for sukkha Puri they don't give that ,they think that they're bigger brand then bikaji , hikdiram, overpriced nothing that special that you don't get in a normal Pani batasha kart in kanpur don't waste your time and money.

Good food, best place for peacefully eating street food. The vendor is trusted and respected around the market and long time customers. From pizza to batashe, everything is great. Though not a night person, so don't go very late. Post 9 is no no, because the shop closes.

It's good place to get the indian snacks. Chats and other snacks are good and tasty. Situated at the center of city.

Aloo tikki was crunchy and tasty. Dahi bhalle and golgappe tasted really good too.

Terrific place for chat n Dahi bhalla, etc. hygiene can be improved and parking is always a struggle as it’s in a Centre of a prime location.

Amazingly delicious chaat with a unique variety and taste that you will not find anywhere in the world. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Cleanliness is properly maintained. The owner Gupta ji is a great guy who recognizes each of his millions of regular customers with special regard. I have not found this taste anywhere else. Keep it up Gupta ji 🙏

Third class sugary Chat for Rs. 65..... Don't even think of tasting it once. I don't k ow why it is so hyped in Kanpur...

I ordered Basket chat - INR 100 The quality of each and every item has decreased a lot. Every time I visit this place, some or the other fault I find in either of their dishes. In short :- Jo baat pehle thi, ab wo barkaraar nahi rakh paaye ye log. The Basket chat was incomplete. Earlier they use to add many more items but now, the prives have also increased and the ingredients has also reduced and this is great loss for them. It was overly spicy despite saying that make it less spicy

Good option for quick bite. Their basket chat is quite popular but I will recommend to go with normal chat option. Price is little higher than roadside food but they maintain proper hygiene. Menu is also quite big.

Situated at the corner of the Lane. Offers the best Chaat options. Everything from Chaat, Panipuri. Dhaniya aloo, dahi bade and more. Everything taste exceptional, a sure visit Everytime I visit the town.

Not every chat is good. Basket chat is overhyped. Not up to the mark. Gol gappe are still good. I also didn't like aalo chat.
