Beautifully laid out and decorated restaurant. Everything here is neat & clean, colourful and very well laid out. The Food variety is limited and excellent. The cold drinks/mock tails are disappointing and expensive. Service is courteous and accommodating. They are willing to make minor alterations in the dishes offered to suit your taste. I was really impressed with the professional set-up.

We chose this restaurant randomly and were pleasantly surprised The crispy corn was a great start The penne pasta in alfredo sauce came with just the right mix of broccoli mushrooms and bell peppers This was followed by Thai green curry with jasmine rice ! Generally Thai curry comes with sticky rice but here one has to order separately We still felt hungry so we ordered the Golden garlic fried rice which to me was a bit too garlicky The pricing too is a surprise as plain rice is 320 rs and the golden garlic fried rice is 350! All in all the lunch was great and the staff courteous Mr Purnanda Tripathi the manager and R K Singh our server took v good care of us

Delicious food, they also have sushi and other authentic dishes which are hard to find in Kanpur. Full operational bar is also there, the interior is beautiful and is very spacious. They also have rooftop sitting option. Though it is bit pricy, so good to go once in a while. There Choco brownie with ice-cream is scrumptious (although one plate cost Rs. 250, but it's worth it)

Finest lounge in the city and expensive too. Ambience is superb with it's price. Good is great in taste it offers a big parking, so no issue in that. Service is slow as regular ones. Staff is good in work, have sufficient knowledge about the menu too. Everything is fine.

An amazing experience is what awaits at Gin & Ginger, interestingly we planned it very randomly, but everything from the food to the overall vibe is extremely inviting. The food slightly on the $$$ side of pricing, does complete justice to the price as it's quality is excellent and so is the taste. We tried Dry Chilly Paneer & Thin Crust Pizzas and they were both made to perfection to say the least. The variety of beverages is large and a good number of desserts are there to choose from. A special mention is their staff, they're all good, professional and warm while serving. Overall a good addition to the already bustling area around civil lines. Will surely recommend a visit 👍🏻

The menu is a bit limited but for a bistro its well catalogued. It also offers proper drinks in case you were looking for that option. All in all, a good place to just relax on a weekend or a casual meet-up. I personally loved their corn soup and mushroom dimsum. Went there a second time and someone who loves coffee and ice cream should try Affogato.

I have been a old patron of this place and had multiple dinner sessions here with my colleagues, this is our go to place for having dinner. Pros : 1. Prices are decent. 2. Never too crowded. 3. Ambiance is good. 4. Open air seating available for smokers. 5. Decent liquor options with affordable rates. 6. MOST Important of all their food is excellent. Our go to meal is Dal Tadka with Chicken Tikka Masala Gravy Cons : Yet to observe 😊

This Bistro is great for family and friends outing. Food is delicious. Vibe is retro here which is kind of cool. Bar is also good. Outdoor seating is comfortable. Projector screen is available for cricket matches. Staff is polite and swift in service.

From my last three consecutive visits I have realised that it lacks kid friendly staff. Would strongly suggest to avoid this place if you have a playful and extrovert kid in the age group of 2 1/2 and 3 because they find them abusive and troublesome. If you want to spend this much amount of money on food then I would suggest status club in terms of hospitality, food and kid friendly staff. Gentry is mediocre as well

I stayed in little chef hotel for a couple of days and used to have dinner here often. Their outside sitting area is not upto the mark. Service and food are good. Decent place to visit with family and friends. Do try their banarsi paan mocktail, it's yum ;)

This place is a hidden gem. Food is absolutely tasty, do order honey chili potato, you will be a fan of it. Other food items are also amazing, I only don't like corn cake kinda dish, other than that everything was absolutely amazing. The vibe, the place, the food, must visit.

Tried most of the continental stuff, all the dishes were good, will rate them 4/5 as most of the dishes lacked in some way some were too soft and lacked crispiness and some were not at optimal temperature especially the pizza I had to get it reheated. Meze platter, Dipsum and sizzlers are must try if you visit gng.

Went for an afternoon lunch. Everything tasted pretty good and I was happy with the overall ambience and hygiene. The only reason to not give 5 stars: the service is sloww. We had to wait for good 30 mins after our order to get the dishes.

The place has vintage vibe and good ambiance. It is costly. Speciality is mainly in Mexican and Italian food, Indian food is limited. Food tastes great but lacks in quantity. I was amazed at the taste but dissapointed that I couldn't eat to my heart's content. 😛

One word for this is CLASSY Strong cocktails, well chosen music, top crowd And my compliments to the chef with Italian Cuisine. I loved it here and would highly recommend.

For a place like Kanpur where there are not many good places to dine in, this bistro is the perfect choice, esp if you like a good rooftop setting. The only downside is the traffic you'll face before being able to reach this place.

Firstly, the food sucks. The pesto pasta almost made me vomit, the paneer was rubbery and the chilli chicken tasted off. Then, the staff think they're doing us a favour by serving us and proceeded to argue with us about how we ordered two of the same dish when we ordered one. Save yourself the trouble and never set foot in this establishment, it's not worth the trouble.

Asparagus Sushi was well made ,the pan-fried noodles in Asian had the right flavors in sauces, the chicken basil with fried rice sizzler was an excellent

At Gin & Ginger, you're in for an incredible experience. We planned it very haphazardly, yet everything about it—from the food to the atmosphere—is warm and inviting. The somewhat more expensive cuisine is completely worth the money because both the quality and flavour are top notch. Both the Dry Chilly Paneer and the Thin Crust Pizzas we tried were, to put it mildly, crafted to absolute perfection. There are many different beverages to pick from, and there are plenty of dessert options. The personnel deserves special note because they are all excellent, courteous, and professional. Overall, a welcome addition to the already crowded neighbourhood along the civil lines. I'll without a doubt advise going.

The ambiance is ok. It's just a place created in a normal building. I personally didn't like the fooding much. The flavors were really missing and the food was almost bland after requesting for extra spicy ... there was no taste. The cream cheese kind of rolls tasted like filled with raw crushed cottage cheese and a very small pinch of salt. The chilli chicken was fine. The kadhai paneer wasn't good, the dal tasted almost boiled and the chicken tasted really weird and stale. Infact even the breads were thick and bit chewy. May be we went on the wrong timing because we were little late. Let's assume it it better otherwise.

Seating was specifically for everyone from family to couples. They have a part of restaurant as a roof top which was very spacious and nice. Parking space was good and spacious.
