Situated on the banks of river Ganga the ghats are ancient and beautifully built and are kept in good condition. You can go by car and parking is available nearby. I would suggest you to go to the ghats first and go to the shops while coming back. Mostly what people do is they go to the shops first and then they get exhausted and don't enjoy and miss out on things. You can have a boat ride for rupees 100, it will be for about half an hour and the views are totally worth it. The boatmen are very nice and they even take you further if you ask them. The temples are amazing and very beautiful places to get pictures clicked. You can find Shiva temple nearby if you go to the right after entering a ghat which is another place you should visit.

Brahmavart Ghat is situated on the bank of river Ganga in📍Bithoor Kanpur. There is an historical temple of Lord Mahadev 🔱 which is famous for huge Trishool made up of Red Marble. The complete structure of the temple is made up of Red Marble. This is an iconic temple of Lord Mahadev 🔱🕉️. People from different places come to this temple for worship of Lord Mahadev 🔱. This temple has a vast history of its construction.

Such a Holy, Spiritual and Historical place to visit in Kanpur. Brahmavart Ghat is located around 15 KM away from the city center. Here you can enjoy boat ride at Ganga River and feel the wind at your face and it will fully refresh you. Brahma Khuti Temple is also located here and devotees come here to worship Lord Brahma who created this world.

This is a place where Devi Sita lived when Lakshman ( her brother inlaw) dropped her to leave in the woods as Devi Sita herself asked him to do. Here Rishi Valmiki found her on the banks of river Ganga which is now called as Brahmavarth Ghat, here Rishi Valmiki used to take bath everyday and then he saw Devi Sita and brought her to his Aashram. In the evening Ganga arthi also takes place. There is boating also through we can see many ghats like the Lakshman ghat, Sita ghat, Bhairav ghat, Mahadev ghat, etc.

Shady area. Ghats are unclean. Just before the ghat, there is an unauthorised parking, where they are looting people, gives no receipt. Boating can be done here. The mandir is very famous.

An ancient place that traces it's origin in Satyug, it is said the Hindu God Brahma, decended to this place and before creating the world we live in, he did tapasya (meditation), there is a deep hole at the stone embankment were devitees make offering and holy water from the flowing Ganga river is poured into the hole and offered to God Brahmaji, there is also a Shiva temple nearby, you can also take a motor boat ride on the vast river which is a wonderful experience , Bithor finds mention in Upanishads and is a famous piligrimage centre

If you love the history and want to learn more about Lord Rama's family than this is the place where Goddess Sita and Lav and kusha spend their time. We can do boating in river Ganga also we can see some rare birds and sometimes crocodiles and dolphins. This place is politically ignored by all the political parties luckily some development happened in last few years but that also is very less and small if we see the historical importance of the place. Many devotees coming from nearby areas to take Holy dip in river Ganga and they are doing religious activities Many young couples are coming here for boating and spending some time as this place is very less crowded some days. We have to educate peoole to not to throw garbage and pollutant in the river and ghat also some strict rules should be there for this.

Located in the Bithoor town of Kanpur, Brahmavart Ghat is the holiest of holy ghats dedicated to the Hindu deity, Brahma. After a ritual bath devotees gather at the altar called the Wooden Slipper to offer prayers. Apart from being a place of religious prominence, Brahmavart Ghat is also growing as a tourist destination and family picnic spot. Besides being a great sunrise viewpoint, river Ganga also avails affordable boat riding facilities as well.

Brahmavart Ghat in Bithoor is a serene haven that encapsulates both historical significance and natural beauty. Nestled along the Ganges River, this ancient ghat exudes a peaceful aura that transports you to a different time. The tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by the gentle lapping of the river and the rustling of nearby trees, makes it an ideal spot for contemplation and relaxation. The ghat's historical importance is palpable, as it is believed to be the spot where Lord Brahma performed a yajna, marking the creation of the universe according to Hindu mythology. The sacredness of the place is evident through the various temples and shrines dotting the surroundings. While the site's charm lies in its simplicity, it could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness. The litter detracts from the overall experience and respect for the historical significance of the place. Nonetheless, Brahmavart Ghat remains a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and those seeking solace in the embrace of nature. As the sun sets over the Ganges, casting a golden glow on the waters and the ancient structures, one can't help but feel a profound connection to the past and an overwhelming sense of peace in the present moment.

Known as the place where mankind was birthed, Kanpur's Brahmavart Ghat is a holy site you have to visit when in the city. Revered as the place where it all started, the Brahmavart Ghat is one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for the devotees of Lord Brahma. The only complaint with the place would be with cleanliness. It was quite dirty.

A good place to visit. This temple has importance as per Hindu mythology. Located at Ganda Ghat.Temple is very old a and bit small. Locality has very narrow rods and difficult to go by car. Better to park outside and walk for some 400-500m to reach temple. Market outside temple has got good fastfood/ chats to offer. Some other good places to visit nearby and can be covered in single visit.

Old rustic place of great devotion and religious significance but a classic example of how lack of focus from Government and Civic bodies can destroy the beauty of a place and discourage visitors.

Historic, Peaceful, pristine and divine. At times this place was flithy but now it is maintained very well adding to the beauty and Sanity of this place. I won't hesitate to call it a mini banaras because of the vibes I received here. I am not comparing but just sharing what I felt being here. An ideal place to spent a peaceful evening. Ganga Aarti takes place around 5-5:30 pm in winters and 6-6:30 in summers. Recommended 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼

    (Translated by Google) This ghat is situated on the sacred banks of the Ganges, about 2km from Bithoor, which is a great center of faith for Hindus. It is itself a page of history. According to religious beliefs, Brahmavart Ghat was known as Utpalaranya Forest, it was believed to be the abode of Lord Brahma, Ashwamedha Yagna is said to be the horse of Lord Brahma's horse. It is said that Brahma performed a yajna at this place for the origin of mankind from which Manu and Shatrupa were born. There is a small temple situated on the ghat which is dedicated to Lord Brahma, here the temple has a Shivling called Brahmeshwar Mahadev, this temple has wooden slippers to remember and bow down the holy feet of Lord Brahma. The temple also has an axis, which is considered to be the center of the entire earth. The climate here is very picturesque and sacred, many small boats and steamers are available here for boat rides in the Ganges river.
