Nana Rao Peshwa Smarak is nice place for visit to know about the sacrifices of our freedom fighters like Maharani Laxmibai Ji & Nana Rao Paeshwa Ji. There is also a park and museum inside the premises where we can see the historical things.

Nothing much from a historical perspective. Only for kids to enjoy and play on the ground. Museum contains mostly stamp and coin collection. Nothing much related to the 1857 revolt.

The bithoor museum is also known as nana rao park. The park is average but this is very far from main city Kanpur. You can do morning walk and some family picture and picnic but only museum is worthful if you interested in history. In museum you can find old currnecy maps and guns they use in world war or some other war/fight. The amazing thing in museum is the hand written note of Mahatma Gandhi. Atleast one time to go and enjoy bithoor ghats or boating in the holy Ganges.

Bithoor museum is very beautiful and the center of attraction. Most people come here and I want all the people to go or the historical things are the lives of Rani Lakshmi Bai and the life of Nana Rao Peshwa is the story of the story and the painting is here. -Sajja is very good. It is a historical heritage. It is very precious for us....

Bithoor Museum in Kanpur is a hidden gem. Its rich historical artifacts and exhibits offer a fascinating glimpse into the past. The well-preserved collection, along with informative guides, makes it a great place to learn about the region's heritage. The serene location along the Ganges River adds to the overall experience. If you're a history enthusiast, this museum is a must-visit destination.

Bithoor or Bithur is a town in Kanpur District, 23.4 kilometres (14.5 mi) by road north of the centre of Kanpur city, in Uttar Pradesh, India. Bithoor is situated on the right bank of the River Ganges, and is a centre of Hindu pilgrimage. According to Hindu scriptures, Bithoor is the birthplace of Rama's sons Lava and Kusha. Bithoor is also the centre for War of Independence of 1857 as Nana Sahib, a popular freedom fighter who was based there. The city is enlisted as a municipality of Kanpur metropolitan area.Bithoor Museum is one of the main attraction points of Bithoor. This ancient town once offered solace to Goddess Sita and her two sons- Luv and Kush. Also, centuries later, it again played the role of a safe haven to Nana Saheb Peshwa during the uproar of 1857 mutiny.

Big Fort located on small hill near village. Fort is having good fortification and bastion. Many big palace adjoining fort. The fort is more than 300 years old. Tori Fatehpur was a princely state in India. It was one of the Hasht-Bhaiya Jagirs, under the Bundelkhand Agency of British India. Tori Fatehpur State was founded in the Bundelkhand region in 1812 by a descendant of the royal family of Orchha Diwan Rai Singh of Baragaon near Jhansi. The rulers of Tori Fatehpur were from the Bundela dynasty of Rajputs.
