such a horrible 0 star hotel. i'll not recommend anyone to stay there. dirty washroom, hair on bed and wash basin. stinky and stained blanket. no toiletories except a hand soap. No towel. Dirty curtains. no ventilation. not even proper light in the room. wifi wasn't there on that floor (5th). no four wheeler accessibility. no parking. you'll get the bedbugs in freebies.

The management of the hotel is not good... I wanted to remain checked in according to my booking but wanted to stay at my friend's place at night... And return to the hotel in the morning (6 a.m.)(my booking was till 11 a.m. that morning). And wanted to check out at 10:30 a.m. But the manager forced me to checkout, if I'm not staying at night... Which is technically wrong... Secondly at oyo app i booked for the room ( on the app it was written ac room n everything) but when i checked in at hotel they offered me a mon ac room with 300 rs charge to shift to an ac. Lastly they took my phone for checking the booking id but fraudulently rated themselves a five star rating which is sooo wrongggg . Also the way manager talked made me n my partner uncomfortable....

Its definitely not family friendly...unhygienic, noe cleanliness, food tastes gross, rooms are very dirty, definitely not a place for children. I wont recommend this one.. We couldn't even stay one night at this hotel.

I booked through OYO costed me 400 for one night stay without AC, However while booking it showed AC availability but the hotel denied giving and asked additional 200 for AC which is against OYO policy. Room is very small however clean and just ok to live in for a night or two. No response from OYO customer care. Staff is non cooperative.

Very bad experience. I booked a room in this hotel Ashoka through Oyo as I was having some urgent work next day in Kanpur. After prepaid booking, I called to this hotel and informed that I will reach mid night and will checkin. When I reached to this hotel midnight, they said that they will give me room in their some other property I.e. Shree galaxy hotel. I was so tired after traveling for almost 10 hours and I got to know this. Nevertheless, I agreed and next twist came when person at reception said to me that the person who will drop me at Shree Galaxy hotel is not waking up to drop me. I am listening these words in mid night. When I said, this is not a good practice and I have already paid for the same, then he talked to some other hotel i.e. hotel Kanha classic who agreed to give the room and I had to go there by walking (around 500 meter in midnight and in a very tired situation). Hotel Ashok has very good reviews on Oyo and these are probably because of taking forceful rating just after checkout before them. Since, most of us leave our luggage for few hours in almost all hotels after checkout, we don't have any option other than giving good reviews. This might be the reason behind good reviews of this hotel in Oyo. I will suggest, avoid to go to this hotel.

they will not give you room on the price which you had booked earlier on Oyo. after arriving at the hotel they deny to give the room and say that you have to shift the room to other hotel. they will charge more or double the price of Oyo booking. other than that rooms are decent but when you leave the room for some hours the will ask for the room key to handover to them for room service but in your absence room will be given to couples for the thing which you are thinking of👉👌. so be careful.

Worst experience. I booked from oyo app at 3400 but hotel demands 4800 extra on 3400. Even staffs are very illiterate and rude. Even hotel is very dirty and location is very bad. Avoid it if you want a safe stay.

Very bad... Rooms are okay in size but no ventilation... Receptionist never listens to you... Won't provide you even water for free forget getting it to your room... You have to fetch the water yourself and if you're lucky you will get the ro water or else you have to pay rs twenty five for every litre... Had to fetch the towel myself.. Got soap after 2 days... So basically this is unmarried couple friendly so if you gotta bang, this is your place... Not about accommodation though...

Worst thing is : They take your phone & rate himself 5-star... So please don't believe on all the 5-star & the images of the hotel room, they are completely fake.. Rooms are average but too dirty and one of the staff member was asking for extra money for the occasion of Holi..

I booked hotel ashoka through oYO @399 when I reach at reception they say to me that they can't allow to stay I need to pay 400 extra. I was not able to do anything because I reach at night and 399 was already made.froud and unprofessional.

Update:Already complained with customer care,no action taken by the oyo management.. Recieved reply from oyo that they did what they could.

Uncleaned room, unclean bedsheet and blanket plus dusty. The hotel itself seems very shady. They have window ac which is good for nothing. Better to pay little more and go to the townhouse spotlight near Gurudev chawk. It was full on my last visit to kanpur otherwise I would have gone there.

It's a couple friendly Oyo style hotel ,I guess u always ask for a good room ,don't book online just call them up and book a decent good room if u just want ur Oyo to be super .no botherations ,the paratha are good ,if u are bachelor's there are nearby chilled B counters at a walk away .

The rooms are not at the level with the price they charge but are manageable.Many rooms have not so good washrooms with bad hygiene.They don't provide towels or soaps.The reception staff (particulary one person) is too rude that some people just avoid the hotel for this sole reason.Room service and their food is really good.

I booked to Ashoka hotal by oyo site Price was 700 Rs only but i go he told no you pay to 1000 Rs totally froud if you not pay go to other hotals

Initially they offer me unclean room and bed is also dirty, I told them to give another room and after that they shift in another room. But in room there is no towel . Service is very poor. There is no any RO purifier, you have to buy each time water. And location of hotel is very conjusted. Outside area of hotel is very dirty. Huge traffic near hotel you find . Overall room price is high and you didn't get satisfaction according to price of room
