I stayed for three nights in the month of November because of some meetings I had in Kanpur. Booked it via Goibibo, it was the cheapest option available. The room was quite spacious, well sanitized, and had all the necessities. The washroom was good too. I got a room that didn’t look like one in the pictures but was good enough. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Had a good, peaceful and safe time in the hotel. Would recommend everyone to stay here and consider booking it online.

I informed them that my mother and wife are traveling and they would reach in the morning at 5. Post confirmation I booked room for 2 but when my mother and wife reached there they denied room and even denied any conversation like such that happened. Please stay away from this hotel. When they can do this with 2 females out of which one of them is 70 yrs old think about their service

One of the oldest and most popular hotels in Kanpur. Lots of space, big rooms. In fact an indoor soccer field in the front (1st ever such hotel that I have seen and hence an extra star). On the busy GT Road. Do get ready to be rudely woken up at 5 am by the loud and long blast from the mosque close by. Hotel needs maintenance. Good service. Good food. Ample parking. Power backup. Safe, secure and family friendly.

Having a good reputation is not just enough, food was very poor I've ordered fish and chicken tikka and it was the worst thing I had in my life and coming to the veg part they don't even have paneer in their menu. Very bad experience giving 1 star rating.

I think it is bit overpriced. Maintenance of the AC, toilet, etc. is not upto the mark. Room was spacious. They charge heavily. Issues like poor maintenance of AC (very old model ACs) , toilet flush, etc. don't justify the rent they charge. And they gave a tall cupboard in the room without shelves but then no hanger. How would anyone hang the clothes. Basic common sense. Photo attached. Staff member ANKUSH was very polite and helpful. He was actually raising the standard of the hotel in terms of hospitality.

My mother and sister were travelling and chose this hotel for overnight stay . Room was decent but filled with mosquitoes. Luckily they were carrying odomos . Driver was given a space in dormitory but because of mosquitoes he chose to sleep in the car. They were just staying for the night and absolutely tired so they didn't bothered to complaint about it at the reception but what good that would have done at midnight anyways. So better to check for these things before you guys let the room open for guest. Especially when dengue and mosquitoes issues are in the rise . A little fumigation of the hotel will not hurt.

The hotel is amongst the most popular properties of Kanpur. Located at the prime location on Anwarganj You can easily reach the place every auto driver on Kanpur Central Railway station knows the place and will cost around 20 Rs in shared auto Rooms are big , spacious. Check-in was smooth hassle free But the services at this price point were not up to the mark No proper bath Kit was provided A/c was not working well

I was there at kanpur for a short trip, and stay was amazing at Citi club the ambiance, the room decor all were totally upto the mark, only the cons were: room aminities were not provided well, and there were no bathroom linens provided! Fixing this small things might have been even better.

Most pathetic experience, untrained staff seems like the staff is hired from a village who doesn't know how to talk. in terms of hospitality you only get a room that's it don't expect more. they have asked me to pre pay for thoothpaste,no ash tray as they have limited stock, no laundry service at hotel and if you have a visitor then they aren't allowed in your room but the do not have a place where you can sit with your guest as the restaurant is under renovation and staff said we can't do anything. if i will compare the hotel with oye then i will recommend oyo instead.

Rooms are nicely built and pathetically maintained..they haven't put any effort in keeping the rooms maintained. The room service was terrible too. We paid for 5people and got complementary tea only for 4 despite asking several time. Food they gave was spoilt and very low in quantity. The food was even undercooked. My entire family fell sick after the stay- all of us. The location is okay but service is worst.

Update(22/09/2021) : Now hotel people has written in their reply that they offered me option to upgrade. Which is completely false. Neither they offered me an option but for premium room which is just one grade above they asked extra 2500/- per room. Further they have shared wrong info stating I threaten them and used abusive language. How can I being a visitor to Kanpur with my family can threaten them and abuse?? Can anyone justify it? They are just a bunch of fake people having worst service and rooms. And if you write a GENUINE review they always try to deny it by trying to prove the guests wrong.. Now if Paytm no. is registered with bank why didn't it accept UPI payment ? And how falsely they have written that I asked for their staff's number. ANY FREQUENT TRAVELLER AND DECENT PERSON CAN SENSE THEIR FOUL INTENTIONS JUST BY READING THEIR REPLY... Rest my review is as below which is true in every words. I am a frequent traveller and have never reviewed anyone that bad but this is because of their fake behaviour and bad attitude which they showcased in their response to my review as well.. (My Review) Hated Everything. I had booked two deluxe rooms as had visited Kanpur with my family due to some personal reasons. And hated every bit starting from check in to Check out. 1. At the time of check in, we asked them to provide a decent clean room as we read some reviews about stinking room. But what they had given is just HELL. 2. The rooms were dirty, Linens were dirty and stinking. 3. LINENS WERE THAT MUCH STINKING KI WE WERE NOT EVEN ABLE TO SLEEP 4. Washroom was also dirty and the towel kept in washroom were used one. 5. As I was not aware that such hotels can provide this kind of rooms hence booked ignoring negative reviews and in the end it didn't went well. 6. The staffs asked to review immediately during check out so that they can get good review. 7. When we complaint about stinking linen they pathetically replied " Sir deluxe room me yahi milta hai. Go for premium". Does Deluxe room means dirty & stinking linens or mattress ?? 9. It just have a big building, but room and services are way below one star hotels. 10. Food was way below average in taste and the delivery had taken almost 40-50 minutes for paneer butter masala and roti. 11. People there not even knew about sanitization. No one had their mask on as if CORONA doesn't exist in their place. 11. Lastly we checked out simply paying the amount which they asked and I didn't even checked the bills. While we were on the way back to Noida their receptionist called me and asked to pay extra amount for food which we had taken on day one. I asked why it wasn't charged at first as I thought the additional amout was for food and didn't expected it to be GST and than they started giving fake excuses. For the payment of the same when I asked for bank details of City club or UPI no. of City club, he has just shared Paytm number (without UPI ID) for which I said I don't use Paytm and asked for UPI on which he said that for UPI he can share his personal no. Shouldn't such hotels have a valid bank account or UPI ID to share with customer ?

Great food, happy stay, just a few points for improvement. Linen not up to the mark, N cleanliness is secondary. Rest all grt, thank you for making our stay comfortable.

The rooms are old and spacious. The lighting in the room is very poor. Only 1 tubelight caters to the entire room. An electric kettle with tea/coffee/sugar/cups was provided. Refrigerator is also present in the room. But at 3000/- per night, that's not what you expect from a hotel. An empty gym on the third floor. The service is decent

It's not a WOW kind of place, the thing is management is money oriented, if you book the place for a function, and they have a small hall or any other small area they will give it to other party for the function due to which there is issue in managing the gathering, as in our case they have given the street football area to other party. Rooms are spacious, but need some maintenance, parking space is very limited. You can book it for small functions.

Wish I could give them less than 1 star. The management should better shut down the hotel rather than harrassing the guests. 1. The door does not lock. 2. They don't give water unless you ask even though it is complimentary. 3. AC did not work for the 1st day. 4. The 2nd day onwards the AC made horrible sounds and would scare and wake you up midnight. 5. The bathroom doors are broken. 6. The towel must be a century old. 7. The refrigerator did not work. 8. The mattress was just average. 9. The last day they called to inform that they won't have water available in bathroom after 10.30 am. 10. Geyser does not work. The housekeeping person confirmed that geyser was not working, then why was the room allocated to me? 11. I feel they give second hand treatment to guests booking through online portal. 12. Wifi never worked. Stayed for 3 nights from March 14th to 17th. Totally avoid this place. P.S. - They surprised me with a sweet box on occasion of holi. Was a sweet gesture but was too little too late. The damage was done.

Actually I hv not stayed in this hotel but I had a bad experience abt the reservation. I had booked a room thru MMT for 5th Nov and after completing the booking I had called up the hotel's front office and asked them that I will have an early check in and I had agreed to pay extra charges. When I had arrived at the hotel on 5th at 6am , I was told that their rooms are filled up and I hv to wait till 11 am. This type of false commitment is not acceptable.
