I have been living here since one month. This hostel has all the essential amenities.Rooms are spacious. Place is really quite and ideal for study. Mess food is also good.Menu keeps on changing, that's why you won't get bored by eating same kind of food every week. Regular cleaning happened in rooms and washrooms.Warden and owner are also so cooperative and helpful. It's location is very near to coaching centres. This hostel has wide variety of rooms with very reasonable prices. Regarding safety of girls, there are CCTV cameras in common areas such as lobby area, mess area . Security guards are always pro-active and even if someone went only for receiving their order he assists the person.

Kasturi Devi Girls Hostel, a very known place not just in Kakadeo but also in the city, in terms of hostel charges and preferably safety for girls. It gives a home kind of ambiance and help students to concentrate on their studies with each and every facilities available. Everyone, ranging from the owner to warden as well the staffs are very responsible and friendly. Variety of food is offered with convincing taste. There are few male staff in girls hostel but let me tell you they are very good by nature and mere presence of them does not create any risk factor to girls there. I stayed in the hostel for 6 months and it is worth every penny. The staff is so helpful and dedication to the service. The accomodation is great and safe as well. Moreover, the housekeeping staff does not provide any chance of complaint. Well furnished and clean. If you are looking for a alone residence which is safe as well as affordable, I will highly recommend Kasturi Devi girls hostel. I couldn't find a better option than this one. Go for it !!!

This is a really nice hostel. There is regular cleaning of all the rooms and food is also different for all days of the week. The caretaker ma'am is also really helpful and responsible. Rooms are also good. Cleanliness is definitely better than any other hostel . Also there is special attention given to the security of girls with cctv on each floor and in and out register . Overall its really good.
