This place serves amazing food. It is not a fine dining place, its a regular restaurant and don't go here for the ambience. They are famous for their dosa but when we went there it was not available so we have idli/vada sambhar which was also super Amazing. Their kulfi falooda is also very good. They have noodles also whovh were good. The service was very prompt and the food is cheap.

Worst experience. I would like to give ZERO rating. Never go to this restaurant. Cafe k naam pe dhabba h aur south indian food to kisi layak nh tha. Saambhar me chole ka masala mila k banaya tha. Even road side stalls are far better than this.

Not worth the hype. Have visited this cafe thrice and it was a big disappointment for two of those times. The latest I visited was a Sunday late evening. It was very busy at that time and it took 15 mins for us to get a seat which is fine. We order 3 Masala Dosa and one Rava dosa. The waiter took order and was unavailable for next 15 mins. He brought rava dosa first and that dosa was raw. We tried to eat it but couldn't so we complaint about it to waiter and he accepted the mistake immediately as he knew that dosa was raw and took dosa back. Than after 10 mins our masala Dosas came and to our surprise those 3 were also a bit raw. Because there was huge rush in the restaurant and in a hurry of making orders available the chef was making this mistake.. that's what I understood from repeating the mistake. We didn't complaint and ate our food quitely. In between my mom ordered the dahi bada as it's famous dish of cafe. The curd used in dahi bada was also a bit sour so we left it on table. I am giving 2 🌟 for food 3 🌟 for service 3 🌟 for staff

Enjoy the taste of south indian food. The menu was different type dosa ,idli vada and uttapam.. service is very fast . Food is served quick and hot, and their dosas, medu vadas, idlis, uttapams are delicious. Their Dahi vadas are their speciality. We tried there longest dosa which was good to see and also in taste. Try their Chinese noodles and rice which arew good too, but they are specialists in South Indian foods.

Not at all authentic South India food. Never recommend anyone. Everything is spicy and do not have South Indian flavour. We have ordered - masala dosa, paneer masala dosa, Kerala parota with veg curry and Vada sambar. It is avarage taste you have many other tasty options available. hygiene was not maintained - plates were not clear and were still wet while food was served. Infact cutlery was beneath food while it was supposed to be next to it.

I like filter coffee. I did order masala dosa. It tastes better as compared to other Street Dosas. Do try coffee and medu Vada as well. Staff is approachable and polite. Hygienic. COVID guidelines followed. Delivery is fast.

Third class experience no one will assist you for parking your vehicle, foolish staff, haphazard service no sequence in table service, five cafe staff watching your table so that they can let it ready for incoming rush again. Today, when i visited, they initially denied to turn On the AC when i requested 2 to 3 times, then they switched on the AC, and then they refused to serve extra bhaji as per the staff it will charge extra INR 70 and honestly the taste was not as per the price very over priced MENU only visit when no any other options are left......

If we talk about 1-2 years later the taste is super best but now then upgrade there menu and ambience also but the taste is getting bad day by days i came here 4 times in this month and everytime i ordered same dish but the taste is always change.

The joint is owned by a family from Tamil Nadu it seems. I ordered Sambhar Idli Vada, Idli and Vadha were great, Sambhar was good , it had lot of pumpkin though which wasn't much interesting and coconut chutney was okay , not authentic one.

Kerela cafe is a South Indian Restaurant near IIT Kanpur. Restaurant serves variety of Dosa, Uttapam, Idli and Vada. I tried their Masala Dosa and Sambhar Vada both were average in taste. They also have variety in icecreams. They have the options to buy sambhar mixes also.

A gem which has lost its touch. Dosa: unfortunately it doesn't have the taste it use to have. Vada: nice, tasty and big. Sambhar: all the free salt in the world is there in it. White chutney: yes, not coconut chutney, because there's no coconut in it. Service: it's nice and ridiculously fast, plus they will promptly ask for refills.
