Amazing energy this place has, nature, birds and peacock adds divinity to it. Food was simple and tasty. Owners are caring and co operative. Overall wonderful 4 days stay we had as a group of 18 ppl.

Review. #1 dated 27 Jan 23 NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.... We booked a deluxe room at headquarters khajrahu for 1 day and paid advance payment before 4 days.However once we reached the hotel, they denied our booking and started arguing with us. We showed them a confirmation receipt then they contacted the same person who confirmed us for the booking I.e. Hemant Mishra, then they started giving us nonsense excuses that suddenly someone is hospitalised and now we cannot give room to you or etc.. Suddenly 8-9 people in the group came and started discussing with us. We were 3 people, myself, my husband and my son of 6 years of age. We reached the hotel around 7-8 pm from delhi and now they are not ready to give us room at night. They suddenly started arguing with us saying that we cannot help you and somehow started threatening us and started misbehaving with us. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. I feel like filling a complaint against them in consumer court. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone considering the risk factors & commitment. Review#2 dated 28 Jan 23: Dear Mr Hemant Mishra, We were 3 persons which includes myself, my husband and my son. How could we misbehave with your 8-9 group of persons????? You have bluffed with us completely and not served us well at night. This is seriously not right, moreover you are saying that we misbehave, everyone can understand, that how could 1 person misbehave with 8-9 persons of your team?? After listening that we can not get room at night after paying advance payment as well... I have your confirmation message...which you declined after reaching to your place...sorry to say but pls do not do this with any other person.. Regarding filling a case, Let me tell you that I will definitely do that...& Let them decide what to do..i dont want any other person to suffer from this in future after reaching your hotel.

The place is not at All the way it looks on site. It's shabby, I'll maintained and badly managed. Rooms are old , stinking with negatively paintainsd. It's more of an haunting place. However on being harsh they coordinated our stay in newly built Property. Don't book this place on line but first visit see and if fits in your Budget can get huge discount.

The worst hotel experience one can expect in life. Actually this isn't a hotel its just a joke. No basic amenities, no basic services and moreover no basic ethics and manners in the hosts/ managers/ owners/ workers. You can't even expect that you will be getting water in morning even for freshening up or for bathing, you won't be getting even towels or drinking water here. There are ample of mosquitos and around the hotel but you won't be getting a mosquito repellent here (You'll have to buy your own if you want to be safe from mosquitos). And yeah be ready for a shock experience whenever you are going to have a bath because their geyser gives a beautiful shocking experience (literally) whenever you'll try to open the tap for hot water. The staff would never be accepting that there is some mistake from their side but they would rather blame you for every thing that is going wrong. They'll be charging hefty amount per day but would not when provide you basic survival facilities leave alone a hotel experience. If you're coming to stay here, that would be the worst mistake of your life.

Location is too good. Peaceful, Green, Familier Staff... Ashish Bhai... is very nice and polite. Hea take care of all the things regarding rooms, food and everything. He helps everyone like family member. Over all best experience. Location is very good near to Western Khajuraho temples and very peaceful place. There is too much greenery in the property.

We had an amazing stay. The property is located in the midst of the city connecting it to all major locations. Rooms are spacious with a lot of place for natural sunlight. The major highlight for us was the lawn and airy spaces throughout. They also provide live music and bonfire for all the guests. Overall the vibe of the place is very positive and cheerful.

Nice shaded environment protecting from intense sun even in summer season, excellent staff, rooms and food. Mr. Ashish's exuberant touch makes staying at this place all worthwhile. Location on main road having excellent connectivity thus enhancing convenience overall. Many great restaurants nearby along with in-house super food enhances versatility for all foodies. Excellent decent size rooms with spring beds, gives the final touch of perfect sleep after a long day of exploration and tiredness.

Really horrified and disappointed with my stay at this property. Mostly the photos for this locations are added by the owner himself, to showcase it as a well-maintained property. Better book a cheaper place in city/ market then staying here. 1. Firstly it’s unhygienic with unclean bathrooms, stains all over the wall, leaky taps, esp unclean and smelly toilet pot! The sheets were very smelly and had stains on it! Unclean towels were provided that too when we asked for it. Smelly lobby outside the room. 2. Secondly, no latches/ broken knobs making it a nightmare when it comes to safety. Broken furnitures. Small geyser which would hardly give hot water for 2 mins or so. 3. Food was not provided on time, I had ordered sandwich for lunch after 30 mins they mentioned there is no bread and will have to go to the market to buy it. I had added breakfast while booking but they said their head chef is not available. When asked for tea they said not possible and denied it. Had to checkout at 8:30 morning and had requested owner to arrange the breakfast by 8 (reminded twice) but nothing was arranged the next day, which was really disappointing even when he agreed to arrange it. 4. Location wise: it’s too shady, located at the outskirts of the city, esp the western group of temples are farthest from here (walking not possible) and you will hardly get any auto rickshaw from this location. And return to this place also will cost you extra as if it too far from city 5. You will find only one person who will cook food, deliver food, do the cleaning, sweep the floors. No adequate staff here to listen to you. The owners and his friends will put on loud music at night and have drinks making it difficult for you to sleep.

Situated at walkable distance from the western group of temples at Khajuraho, this place is an abode of hospitality for those looking for affordable accomodation. In addition, this place has the ambience of travel motivation that you would simply want to see it all. Suitable for travel enthusiastic youth, bagpackers, light handed travellers because of limited storage space. This place provides private rooms and dorm rooms( bunker beds) for accomodation. It has very hospitable staff and a friendly atmosphere where you could easily befriend a stranger in a jiffy. When i had visited, their kitchen was under renovation, so we headed to the Indian Coffee House restaurant beside the Zostel. Fantastic place for continental and south indian breakfast or snack.

DONT BOOK*** The owner is a cheat …property is shady…saw people high on weed when I reached there with my family. The owner took the money and than not gave us the confirmed room. Said OYO does it all the time and it happens…no compensation was provided not even water was served …in the other review owner is saying guest misbehaved which is completely wrong and sinful of him to say after what we gone through. Such people should not be in hospitality business and they ruin the name of other as well..now I will not book any property directly with hotel initially thought that it have them some extra Amt as they save on the commission from web portals.

Quite and nice place to stay. Very close to major site seeing places in khajuraho. Big Rooms and a beautiful balcony view staight up to the garden. Management and staff was very supportive and friendly.

The bathroom was dirty and unhygienic with no hot water supply and taped up pipes. The rooms and corridors seemed dingy. The photos online (all posted by the owner) are very different from the unfortunate reality. The location is also very inconvenient - it is the farthest away from the Western group of temples. The dining space is open air and still not properly setup.

Amazing property, and warm and friendly hosts. It’s a great place to stay and I had absolutely wonderful time with my friend. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owners and staff. Ambience is really nice, and rooms were spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for good, lush green open ambience in Khajuraho.

good property especially for the solo travelers or back packers. Toilets are neat and also the casual seating area on every floor helps to network with other travelers and make a bonding with them. Amazing place to stay just adjacent to western group of temples and opposite a lake. Beautiful and clean place, polite staff and good value for money. Was earlier zostel, now seems to be its own place but very safe and at the main site of the ruins. Has a kitchen on terrace with view and lots of cafes nearby, good WiFi. Fit for solo

So, where to start from. It has beautiful and cosy space in and around and is very close to the western group of temples. They even allow you to check-in early if space is available. Staff is very courteous and helpful in any way possible. Shivsagar lake nearby with its fauna is really an additional bonus. Overall, recommend this place if you don't want to spend much and enjoy to the full.

I really like the staff who gave me company and help me explore this beautiful ancient place called Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh. Also thanks for arranging the bonfire along with Dinner. Really enjoyed my 2 days stay at this property. Rooms are good. Service is excellent. Must visit place

Didn't actually stay here, but we booked the safari through them, rented bikes and availed of luggage storage with them. They're so friendly and helpful. For once, I felt like we were safe and getting a good deal in everything we were doing through them. They're super close to the Western temple group. We spent the whole evening hanging with them in the common room while we waited for our train. Highly recommend.

When I came here, didn't expect that much good hospitality I will receive. The total area is near to western group of temples, easily accessible all visiting places of Khajuraho. The staff are very nice. I traveled solo, didn't face any problem here. The manager Ashish is very good person, he helped me a lot. I came here on last day of year 31st December, didn't think about party and all. There was organised a party, they invited me and I enjoyed a lot with fellow travelers. One moustache uncle (don't remember his name), he is also nice. In night, we were having fun, listening music and bonfire. That uncle came and sang old song with us. You can reach here from railway station or airport easily from sharing auto or private. Sharing auto will take Rs.10.

The best hostel i have ever stayed in my four years of travel experience. Hemant,kamal, Shailendra & ashish were amazing hosts. If you guys plan to visit Khajuraho do make sure to stay over there,it's chill place for backpackers ,family and large groups as well . There is rooftop cafe where you can party and have some amazing food as well. They have special guided trek to Datla hill,you get mesmerizing 360 degree views from the top and a glorious sunset to behold for adventurous and peace lovers.
