I took bunk bed for a night for 400 and private room for 1100, I would prefer a hotel at this cost in return of good amenities, but if you can compromise on comfort and basic amenities like hot water and internet which was not available in the duration of my stay 4 days and 3 nights. Otherwise if you are ok with this it's a decent place to stay over. Cons 1. Internet connection is not working 2. No hot water for bath Pros 1. Neat 2. Good friendly staff (I stayed longer as staff is very good) 3. Decent food options 4. OK ok location

Hostel is located around 500m from the wester group of temples. Dorms are neat & clean. The host Anand is very helpful. He was always available on phone & answered all our queries. food at the hostel was good & reasonable. You can also have a nice view of village from the rooftop. They also provide bike on rent. I would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone.

Hiii i am krishna and i have visited khajuraho and booked a moustache hostel for 3 nights. I spend a very nice time in this hostel. This hostel situation located in very nice place on jain temple road. Hostel environment is very amazing and wonderful time which I spent in hostel. The staff of this hostel is very caring very and helpful and very honest. The rooms and dormitory are very comfortable in budget price. They have nice kitchen and nice traditional food 🍲 . They guide me to visit the place which are unknow for new tourists. I recommend everyone to stay and enjoy the time and vications in khajuraho and moustache hostel. More then excellent. Unfortunately I got Dengue. I picked it up somewhere in rishikesh and got really sick in khajuraho. Luckily I was staying at this hostel. They were more then amazing. They helped me get to a English speaking docter and fixxed me up again. They really took care of me. The owner and staff are amazing. Furthermore, the room is really nice accompanied with a solid rooftop to chill. The food is of high quality and good priced! All and all would definitely come here again. Don't miss out on this hostel when you are in khajuraho!

Excellent hostel. They have good facilities and many nice places to hang out and relax socialize in the house, including a rooftop where they can make little fires. The rooms are comfortable, unusually clean and there is proper hot water as well. There a little restaurant service and the food is great as well. Also a good surprise, there was a snake charmer on the roof top when I got up the other day! The staff and owner are also very welcoming and go out of their way to help you in any way they can. Truly exceptional. I stayed in many places in India and other countries, I highly recommend this place and will come again if I ever visit this area in the future.

We stayed in Dormatry and the facilities were very impressive. Well maintained Hygiene and personal space even in Dormatry rooms. We need to use common washroom for Dormatry.

I have booked this hotel for 2 days, first they gave me a room with the dusty curtains and bedsheets, and a generator sound all night. The morning I changed my room to a good room and asked me to shift within 30 min. In the afternoon at 3.30 they said your name is not ready as the previous one hasn't been vacant yet and I need to adjust again..very pathetic, service.

Overall the experience was good, welcoming staff. It is good if you are not expecting some high end services. It is a typical hostel life feeling when you get here. Friendly staff and very helpful. They will guide you right for every treks

Awesome hostel in a quiet part of town yet still walkable to the main road containing shops and restaurants. The dorm was decent and there is a rooftop hang out spot. Props to the manager who was professional and polite and to the staff who were attentive and knew how to get to and find whatever you want ;) the laundry detergent bar soap in the bathroom was a nice plus. Full marks

It was a great stay. I was little worried, how the hostel will be in a small town! Will it be safe ? Will I be ok? Those was my questions before reaching the hostel. Once i reached, i forgot what my questions was. And i had a great stay and bunch of memories and met people. I would say..go for it ! Khajuraho..small town still have many things to offer.

one of the best hostels I've stayed in India hands down. Great Wi-Fi, running hot water and supportive staff. It's in the old part of khajuraho near to the eastern group of temples so it's a 10min walk to the main market which I enjoyed. Since it's far from the chaos the sunsets were very happening from the terrace with birds returning back to their nest. Loved my stay

Moustache, Khajuraho is a very good hostel for backpackers and budget travellers. It is very close to the main temple complex and 20 kms away from the Reneh falls. The hostel operator is very friendly and recommended us some good options for food and exploring places around Khajuraho. They have a fully functioning kitchen with refrigerator. We booked the entire 4 room dormitory so we were comfortable but at times there could be cleanliness issue.

Khajuraho is a diamond in the ruff and Moustache Hostel is its hidden gem. I planned to visit the West, South and East temples while staying here and luckily Moustache is at the center of it all. The staff are great and very welcoming. I arrived early in the morning and ordered breakfast. The aloo paratha was made quick and tasted delicious. If you’re looking for a break from the chaos, moustache hostel is the perfect oasis.

As most other moustache hostels I’ve stayed at, a highly recommended place. It’s peaceful, has good vibes, and is fairly well located. If you’re on a workation, I’d recommend the rooftop; a couple of big tables with enough charging ports, and very reliable WiFi. Kapil and his team make for great hosts and give you some really prompt service at a hostel budget. All in all, as good as a hostel gets, and better.

Moustache Khajuraho, Is one of the best hostel ever i visited specially the staffs like Kapil and Rahul. They makes you feel you like you are at your home. Situated a bit far from the western group of temples. Booked the balcony room which was not worth it as the balcony faced on the street and the room was very congested but the good part was that I got a free room change which was a better one. The other services are at your hand. Just ask them or can also help yourself. Anand bhaiya is also very helpful and can help you save some bucks by telling you the present reality which would be very different from the one your taxi driver promised while your way from station to the stay and will help you decide what's the best for you.

Everything was good in the hotel but the best thing was the care taker. I remember when we reached at Moustache hotel it was around 12:30 am. We were very Tired and hungry and all the shop were closed still he manages to arrange maggi for us. Thank you so much for that. Even the check-in process was pretty quick. It was a great experience all together.

Its House property not like a hotel. Just ok, not good stay, far from main matket, even if you need 1 cup tea you have only one option to ask hostel staff. For food also you need to ask hostel staff, they only prepare it, if you want food from outside, walk 1.5 KM to main market. Even if you check in at 7 PM check out time is 11 Am only, they can consider 1-2 hour as a Ehsaan. In same price you can stay in far better hotel in main market area.

Service at the Moustache Khajuraho Hostel was one of the best I have had. The dorms are clean, well-lit and spacious. Anand Bhaiya helps you with all your queries and helps you plan your exploration of the place. Food by Rahul is tasty and healthy at the same time. I liked the stay so much that I extended my stay by a few days. I would definitely recommend staying here.
