Have
visited
this
hospital
several
times
and
I
must
say
Doctors
in
this
hospital
are
great
(be
it
gastro,
neuro
or
any
department)
!
But
the
insurance
desk
is
rude
and
they
just
don’t
have
basic
sense!
They
ask
for
25-30k
advance
security
deposit
for
single
occupancy
room,
even
when
u
have
corporate
cashless
insurance.
That
doesn’t
make
sense
at
all.
It’s
unethical
to
ask
for
this
big
deposit
when
a
patient
has
corporate
cashless
insurance
card
with
zero
copay.
Even
big
hospitals
like
Manipal,
Columbia
Asia,
fortis
and
max
just
charge
5-10k
as
initial
advance
deposit
(for
single
occupancy)
in
case
of
corporate-cashless
insurance
scheme.
This
is
not
at
all
a
customer
friendly
process,
management
has
levied
this
process
for
their
sheer
ease
and
hold
over
customer,
From
customers
view
this
is
a
cruel
policy
that
is
imposed
by
hospital
for
the
sake
of
admission
and
their
benefit.
Secondly,
I
got
my
patient
admitted
in
emergency
due
to
stroke
like
symptoms
and
the
nursing
staff
took
the
vitals
but
the
oncall
doctor
came
after
40-45
mins.
When
I
called
the
front
desk
to
enquire
about
emergency
on
duty
doctor,
the
lady
replied
stating
“the
doctor
is
on
round,
and
will
come
post
finishing
the
visit”.
That
was
such
a
vague/non-
responsible
reply.
What’s
the
use
of
emergency
then?
If
the
doctor
will
finish
the
round
and
then
attend
the
emergency?
After
lot
of
argument
with
front
desk,
she
called
the
onduty
emergency
doctor
and
doctor
came
within
5-10
mins.
The
hospital
management
would
have
to
work
very
hard
to
come
even
close
to
metropolitan
standards.
I
would
again
say
the
doctors
are
really
great
here
but
the
staff
and
management
sucks.
I
know
post
this
review,
there
can
be
a
defensive
response
from
hospital,
trying
to
defend
themselves.

acknowledge
your
shortcomings
and
improve
them,
Rather
than
defending
urself.
if
you
train
your
staff
to
be
at
par
with
metropolitan
standard,
you
definitely
have
great
potential
and
future.
