One of the best park of Uttar Pradesh . And the biggest also. Every time whenever you are going to visit you will find it clean and clear . The most better thing is the marble which shines like mirror. It has very large area . In night it looks much more beautiful. The huge elephants give the park a royal look

Very neat and clean park. Its quite big and well maintained. Entry fee is also less. Must visit with family. Will be pleasant to walk around during evenings. Cloudy weather makes it more beautiful. During the night time it looks very pretty with the lights.

Lucknow has so many large park spaces and this is one of them. The cleanliness levels are high and the place is well maintained overall. It is closer to the Gomti river and there's so much space it will take you half a day to cover the entire park. The place looks grand with the elephant statues and fort like structure. Nice play to enjoy an early morning walk or an evening hangout.

Perfect place to spend some nice time. It has some great sculptures and the view inside the park is quite amusing because of those. Entry fee(₹20-₹30 atmost) is nothing compared to what you get to experience inside the park. There many food trucks present behind the park where you can grab some delicious meals to add more enlightenment to the visit.

Very nice place... :--ABOUT--: Ambedkar Park or B. R. Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal is one of the grand monuments of present Lucknow, build by a powerful chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Mayawati. It spread over 107 acres along with river Gomti in Gomti Nagar. Monument is dedicated to the memory of Dr B.R. Ambedkar, principal architect of the Indian Constitution and first law minister in of dependent India. Originally the monument was named as Ambedkar Park, but later it was changed to B. R. Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sthal. Memorial building is in stupa shape of hight 112 ft. In the centre of stupa, a 18 ft high bronze statue of Dr Ambedkar give magnificent view. The various buildings such as Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Smarak, Samajik Parivartan Sangrahalaya, Samajik Parivartan Gallery, Pratibimb Sthal, Drishya Sthal, Gautam Buddha Sthal, Samajik Parivartan Stambh, expansive forecourt, Monumental elephant gallery, bronze fountains, Ashokan Columns & urns, entrance plazas can also be seen within this grand monument, Its lush gardens & lanes with a 20 ft. wide canal surrounding the memorial and the serene atmosphere leave the visitors spell bound. "अद्भुत, अद्वितीय, अलौकिक।।" This is the good place in Lucknow. Good place for walking and wondering and to see something new in Lucknow. I have visited many times and found a kind Of piece. I found best architectures whatever I have seen in many places of india. There are best architects statues of Baba saheb and others. There around 50+ elephants of stone and a large fields. It gives a best view in the night when all the lights are switched on. I think this is the best place to see good architecture and marbles. Park is quite nice made with marble and red sandstone and huge huge statue of mayavati , kashi ram and many more .. Park is lack of vegetation.. construction material are lacking in few places .. specifically in elephants .. few of are cracking .. when I was went that time it was raining .. beautiful weather and Park.. high budget Park..

It was the largest park I have visited in my life . This park is covered with marble stone . It will take minimum 3-4 hours to completely explore the place . There are hundreds of huge Elephants made of stone , high columns, huge statues, fountains and the architecture is on another level 🔥. The entry fee of this park is only 15 rupees per head. This is a must visit place in Lucknow. It would be better if there were more greenery overall a nice place.

The place is amazingly built. It's very vast and you'd need atleast 3-4 hours to soak in every spot and explore the whole space. Cleanliness is maintained impeccably. You see a lot of dragonflies, which is good. I've heard there are statues of several Dalit leaders (along with their life stories) and an amphitheatre that shows some short films; we unfortunately had less time on hands so we couldn't see much. We just climbed the dome like everyone else and enjoyed the aerial view. MAJOR ADVICE: Please don't visit in hot days/weather/time. Make sure there's no heat when you're there because walking around when it's hot is unbearable and you end up not exploring the place properly. Rest, if you're in Lucknow, this is one place you should not miss at all!

A very renowned tourist spot in Lucknow. The park is too huge it may take a whole day to explore the full park. The place is beautiful with number marble craving. The only drawback is thet theres no shade from sun and the marble heats up badly during summer, otherwise not a miss in Lucknow. You can find a lot of eateries outside and around the park. The entry fee is nominal.

The place is huge and beautiful. The symmetrical looks of the garden as well as the elephant looks so stunning. I visited on the weekend so it took around 20 mins to get tickets. Saw lots of school groups visiting this place. Perfect for some photo shots. Preferable time for visit: winters/Nov- Feb.

Hiii...This park is one of the best park in Asia. This park is build by mainly granite and sandstone and is situated in Gomati nagar. Best place to visit in Lucknow and beside this park gomati river front is there which is very fabulous and charming. To visit this marvelous park and its engineering at least 4 hrs must invest so that there will be a no regret to miss anything. Outside the park small ferries are there which sells eating items and must be try it out...Thank you...😊

Good in winters or cool weather. Definitely not for hot summers. As it is built over a large area and covered in stone, it becomes super hot. The stone keeps radiating heat long after sundown. Greenery is sorely missed. No directions for parking. Good for a one time visit. All in all, a decent experience.

Ambedkar Memorial Park Overview Initially known as the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, the Ambedkar Memorial Park is located on Vipul Khand of Gomti Nagar. It was constructed by the state government under the leadership of CM Mayawati. Built in the name of Dr BR Ambedkar, this public park is also dedicated to many other freedom fighters including Jyotiba Phule, Birsa Munda, Kanshi Ram and Sree Narayana Guru. Although it is not as green, the park houses various statues and structures of great historic importance

This is one of the best tourist spots in Lucknow, which is easily accessible by bus, car, Auto or shared rickshaws. There is a very inexpensive paid parking available here to park your car. The park is extremely large and can be divided into sections such as domes, statues, elephant lines and so on. You can take a leisurely stroll around the park or can easily visit the place with your family. It will take you around three to four hours to completely explore this green, transient and vibrant park. Most recommended place to visit in Lucknow!!

This place is a good attraction for the city. Its huge and well structured. However, to think that this is a modern day structure, I would also consider to think that this was a huge waste of land area and money. Think about how many houses could have been constructed here, this could have been a whole university and still have land left for a mall. Atleast this place could have had more greenery than endless tiles. I just hope the future governments use this space for something constructive atleast.

Really nice place to visit. But it shows different point of views of the people. Like how someone would dominate someone by using power. This park should’ve built on historical values but due to it’s grand structures and centric to one group of people, nobody even think of it’s historical values only people talks about waste of money and useless. Summing up: powerful people should not become centric to one group.

Beautiful place which can steal your heart. If you're planning to go in Lucknow ambedkar park should be your first priority. If you are going to this park you have to take tickets which is not too costly and trust me the view which you will see inside the ticket price will be negligible. The best beauty of the park you will see when you go on top area. The park is very beautiful and large and best beauty added by Elephants which are present there. White marbles make appearances like Water is everywhere. Sun and clouds make it more beautiful and in night it becomes more beautiful when lights blow here i must say it will be most memorable trip of your life.

It's a memorial as the name suggests. It's acres of land barren, covered in marble tiles, lot of real sized marble elephants, 2-3 waterfalls, around marble land, uncountable lights in the evening. Don't understand the point of utilizing so much land for this, could have grown some trees atleast, play area for kids, resting area for senior citizens. It's not a place you would visit after once. Just photogenic

Place is good for tourists. However the political motives behind its development has made it unwanted for the current political establishment. Current govt is not spending anything for its maintenance which will lead to quick deterioration of this place.

Probably the best park in Lucknow. It's clean and less crowded. There is nothing to explore deep in it, just some statues of elephants and a big area to walk around. Best to visit if you're with friends or family and want to spend some quality time.

It is one of the best tourist place in Lucknow, which is easily accessible by bus, car, Auto or shared rickshaws. There is a very inexpensive paid parking available here to park your car. Ambedkar memorial park is extremely large and can be divided into sections such as domes, statues, elephant lines and so on. You can take a leisurely stroll around the park or can easily visit the place with your family. It will take you around three to four hours to completely explore this green, transient and vibrant park. Most recommended place to visit in Lucknow!!

It was nice experience for me and my family members. I am requesting from everyone that if you get chance to visit Lucknow then you must visit Ambedkar Park. I am sure you will have a great time and experience and memory in your brain and you will always think that this is one of the best Parks in our country India and if you're a tourist then you must visit here. That's why I have add 23 photos of this park so you can get a look how it is but when you go there and see from your eyes I assure you that you will feel that you are in heaven and will think that I must stay here only. It is maded in total area of 200 hectares so if you want that you have to enjoy it then you must give one day full to see the whole place because it is too much longer and longer. I had toured it half only because I was busy but if anyone visits there he should give one day to enjoy that moment. I had added 23 photos also for that place and I am adding more also so you can see.

It is the honor for socially and economically backward people. The statues of elephants are not a symbol of BSP but it is a symbol of victory and happiness because their trunks are standing upward and in party symbol trunk is looking downwards.

(Translated by Google) Ambedkar Memorial Park located in Gomtinagar. This park is built of pink stones ... which looks very beautiful in the light of night. This park was constructed in the year 2008 by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Behenji Mayawati while paying respects to all the great men who are considered to be the messiahs of Dalits. The Dalit community also considers it a symbol of its upliftment. People say, 'At least Mayawati ji has made such a place that we feel proud. Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated with great pomp here on 14 April every year in this park. If this park is called the pride of Lucknow then it will not be wrong at all. Ambedkar Memorial Park, formally known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, is a public park and memorial in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The memorial is dedicated to B. R. Ambedkar, the 20th century Indian polymath and the major author of the Indian Constitution. The park also honors the lives and memories of Jyotirao Phule, Narayana Guru, Birsa Munda, Shahuji Maharaj, and Kanshi Ram. The park also has 124 monumental elephants. The memorial was constructed by Mayawati, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, during her administration when she led the Bahujan Samaj Party. The foundation stone of the memorial was first laid in 1995. Earlier, the park was named Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Udyan. In 2002, it was renamed the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial and development work continued until 2002-03. In 2007, the park underwent further renovation and development. It was initially opened to the public on 14 April 2008 by Chief Minister Mayawati. The entire memorial is built using red sandstone brought from Rajasthan. It is situated in the posh locality of Gomti Nagar, the largest planned residential colony in India. Cost of the memorial is estimated at 7 billion rupees. Its name was changed from Ambedkar Park to Bhimrao Ambedkar memorial in May 2012.

Initially known as the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, the Ambedkar Memorial Park is located on Vipul Khand of Gomti Nagar. It was constructed by the state government under the leadership of CM Mayawati. Built in the name of Dr BR Ambedkar, this public park is also dedicated to many other freedom fighters including Jyotiba Phule, Birsa Munda, Kanshi Ram and Sree Narayana Guru. Although it is not as green, the park houses various statues and structures of great historic importance.

    1. A must visit place if you are visiting Lucknow 2. Could not believe the space it was built and sculptures of various leaders. It was AMAZING 3. You can enjoy the lightings during evening time. Water fountain with various colors are worth watching 4. I doubt one complete day is enough to visit all the places of the park or two legs are enough 5. You will be extremely tired and thirsty, to cover all the places during the summer 6. Entrance fee of Rs 15 is too cheap for such a big park. 7. Outside the park, you have good parking place and lot of food carts are available for various food options. 8. A Great Tribute to Dr B Ambedkar

It is a very well constructed park. The style of construction is like a palace and all. This is one of the important locations you must visit in Lucknow. The structure is good and the path which has elephant status on both sides will give a nice view. It is so big where the statue of BR Ambedkar is also there. The park gave more importance to the Constitution. Ticket charges are very minimal, I think it is 15 rupees. Parking is also nearby. The only question is why the same amount of funds are not utilised for the improvement of the standard of living of people, especially in the state.

This is a grand open space to stroll and sit around. Especially during winters one can enjoy warmth of the Sun and stay put for hours together. An entrance fee of ₹ 15 per adult is worth paying for this grand place. The display of historical leaders of the people who dared making a change in the society for uplifting of weaker sections. Sundays witnesses a surge of huge crowd which is quite impressive. Plenty of rest rooms that make you convenient as you may please. Ladies, feel free to roam about safe & sound. No shoulder rubbings and untoward incidents. Come one, come all.

It's beautiful in one word. The place is humongous with nicely crafted creations. It's recommended not to visit during rains, you will end up breaking a bone or two due to slippery surface. Evening visit will be well rewarded by distinct and superb lighting very tastefully done. Plantation specially bonsai plants with lightings are amazingly beautiful during night. Days are super warm and sunny, may not be suitable for all. Parking is huge and adequate. Entry fees is Rs 15 per person and parking is Rs 20 only and surely demands one time visit for all. Worth visiting with family.

You'll find spectacular points to take pictures you won't regret it if you're going there to have some pictures. In winters, it is best to be here while the sun it up. You'll be amazed by it's beauty while the sun sets. You should visit it once.

The Ambedkar Memorial 108 acre park in gomti Nagar, Lucknow has become one of the must see places to see in Lucknow. The park has museums and galleries commemorating the life of Ambedkar and other great freedom fighters of India. You need buy ticket of 20 inr per head as entry fee and i believe eatables are not allowed atleast we didn't see anyone eating inside. There is washroom on thr left. The entrance to the park is a unique one as both sides of the path are lined by sixty two majestic stone elephants. We preferred the evening time and the park remains open on all days from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (not sure). Would recommend to visit around evening and avoid summer afternoons the heat may be unbearable. There is marble everywhere and covering the whole ground , we started clock in ise covering each section and spending some time taking pics however it was high cardio since everyone was exhausted when it came to exit. You need minimum 2 hours and would recommend to visit the loo before starting the park stroll.

Awesome!!! This is the good place in Lucknow. You should definitely visit here and see what Mayati made in Lucknow. She spent a lot of money to make Lucknow better and she did. I will add some photos or videos So go ahead and watch. Thanks a lot.

One of the biggest park in Lucknow area, but the management and architecture of this park made it a nightmare for people's to travel during summer time. Lack of facilities and service make it more worse. Toilets are on the entrance so if you are going to enter please empty your tank otherwise on the other end, it's gonna take much time and effort to come for the toilet. Water service is also at very rare so please take you water bottle with you and fill it at the entrance. There is not much shades in the park as there are very less number of trees and shades to take rest, so please plan accordingly. One more drawback is this park looks like a personal property of Mayawati because you can find huge statues of Mayawati everywhere.

  • 5/5 Subroto D. 8 months ago on Google
The park is very huge. It has a bronze statue of Dr. B R Ambedkar as well as 124 elephant statues. Despite the huge area, it is very well maintained. Visit in the evening to taste the delicious street food outside the park.

  • 4/5 Deepsingh S. 9 months ago on Google
Dr. B. Ambedkar park is situated near Gomti river. Park is very big but there is only stones everywhere not the greenery and trees. Huge statues are placed inside it. Entry fees is 15 rupees but I don’t have 15 rupees. I have the note of 500 but counter man give me the free ticket to enter the park. People spent there time here some make videos. It is open from 11 am to 9 pm daily. Best time to visit :- The best time to visit the serene city of Lucknow is between November to March when the weather is a little kind on the soul. It can get quite chilly; hence it is best to carry your woollens. Summers and monsoon seasons are dry and humid, making visiting all of Lucknow's monuments and tourist attractions a pain. Winter also allows you to explore and enjoy the mouth-watering delicacies of Lucknow, making it the right season to pay a visit.

Ambedkar Memorial Park A huge 107 acre public park in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. This park is home to attractions like the Ambedkar Stupa, Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Sangrahalay, Pratibimb Sthal, gallery etc. The park has around 124 big elephant statues, but the significance of it is not mentioned. The entry fee to the park is 15rs. Even with such a vast scale, it's a very well maintained and clean park. Inside the Ambedkar Sthupa, you'll find one of the most prominent structures in the premises - a magnificent bronze statue of Ambedkar, seated in a chair, at the base of this statue, you'll discover an engraved message "My struggle of life is my only message". Along with this, there are various other statues inside the sthupa that capture various significant moments from his life, showcasing his remarkable journey. When it comes to construction, mainly red sandstone is used. Whether it's day or night, this place shines with its well-placed lights that enhance its beauty. If you're planning to explore the entire area, be prepared for a stroll that will take approximately 2 hours. However, there are no food or drink options available within the premises.

The memorial is dedicated to B. R. Ambedkar, the 20th century Indian polymath and the first law minister of India. The park also honors the lives and memories of Jyotirao Phule, Narayana Guru, Birsa Munda, Shahuji Maharaj, and Kanshi Ram. The park also has 124 monumental elephants.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Park stands as a grand homage to the visionary leader. Spanning vast grounds adorned with meticulous architecture, it creates a serene and reflective atmosphere. The park not only pays tribute to Dr. Ambedkar's legacy but also serves as a cultural and historical landmark. This park is situated in Lucknow made by the leader of the Bahujan samaj party Ms. Mayawati occupies a huge area. Nicely built building and statue of Dr. B R Ambedkar on one side and on the other side there is a statue of Ms Mayawati. In one place you can see lots of elephant statues in two rows( elephant is the symbol of that political party). Entry fee 40/- . Opens at 11 am and closes at 9pm.

Dr Ambedkar Memorial park is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Lucknow. The park's landscaping is well-maintained, with various plants, trees, and flowers that make it a beautiful and serene place to visit. The park's architecture is also noteworthy, with several statues and sculptures, including a giant statue of Dr B.R. Ambedkar. The park's pond, surrounded by lush greenery and fountains, adds charm and beauty. The park also has well-manicured lawns, walking paths, and jogging tracks, providing visitors with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. This public park, created in honour of Dr B. R. Ambedkar, is also named for several other freedom warriors, including Jyotiba Phule, Birsa Munda, Kanshi Ram, and Sree Narayana Guru. The park is home to numerous statues and buildings with historical significance.
