Was a great experience!! Tour guide and driver were engaging and knowledgeable. Not a lot of tourists. We saw mostly locals. We didn't see tigers on this trip, however there was an abundance of other species to watch and enjoy. Highly recommend.

A relatively new tiger reserve in UP after dudhwa National Park. This Place is a beauty. The beautiful network of canals makes it one of most beautiful tiger reserves, the British era bridges over a 100 yr old are a marvel. The sighting of tiger is a matter of luck and hard work. But the park is extremely beautiful and has lots of wild animals. We saw bears and tigers and other wildlife. The park has lots of zones, it's green, the roads leading from Delhi are very nice. Can be warm in summers so ideally best time to visit is winters. Park opens from Oct to June.

For the experience it is good but there is literally very little tiger sites... We didn't get to see any... It's kinda scam... Or say they will just move around border and near river ... 2½hr. Ride... Where they will waste 1½ hr . In stupid site seeing... The fauna wasn't very rich We only saw 2 deer 5 wild chicken 1 crocodile and an eagle... The jungle doesn't feels like a jungle .. I would recommend ranthambore or dudhwa National park Jim Corbett

Nice experience, they give you ride across the jungle where you can see different animals. You can also stay here, they have rooms and the staff here is very eco friendly. They don't use any kind of plastic products.

A beautiful tiger reserve near Pilibhit town of Northern Uttar Pradesh bordering Uttarakhand. The reserve is not too big but have a good high concentration of tigers. Tiger sightings even on the adjoining highway are also common . The beauty is enhanced by interception of water canals joined with the river bordering northern part of the reserve. An additional attraction is the beautiful forest rest house cum tourism park called Chookah.

A tiger reserve in the true sense....Dense tiger population along with all other north indian animals....Guests like big elephants often explore the area...Tigers often stray and kill people...Interestingly more than 10 tigers living peacefully near human colonies in AMARIA BLOCK away from core forest area since past 10 years or so...Forest area has over 60 of tigers ...Borders join DUDHWA NATIONAL PARK AND THE COUNTRY OF NEPAL...NEAREST AIRPORT IS BAREILLY THAT IS AT A DISTANCE OF 70 KMS..NEAREST RAILWAY STATION IS PILIBHIT ITSELF...250 KMS FROM STATE CAPITAL LUCKNOW AND 300 KMS FROM NEW DELHI

Pilibhit Tiger reserve PTR, a place for lovers of wild life, peace, nature and self. This place is an ideal location for a photophile and professional and wild life photographers. Here you will find Tiger, deer, Leopard, bear, crocodile and many unseen birds and animals that you will find nowhere else. You can find here a beach with dense green forest at one side and sand beach to enjoy. This beach will give you joy of boating with sight of fishes and migratory birds. You will be lucky to see crocodiles taking sunbath at beach. It will be a pleasant surprise to see Sharda canal flowing in the dense forest touching the bent branches of big trees at its bank. Bifurcation is also one of the main attractions in the PTR where you will find the great technological and scientific construction where two canals cross each other. It’s also a nice point to see the sunset where you can see the sun going to rest in that lap of a river like canal flowing in the dense green forest. “Satjhaal” a seven step structured water body filled with water lily and lotus is also s site in the forest. You will be happy to see crocodiles and alligators at its steps. You can also enjoy a pleasant night stay here at CHUKA BEACH. Here you will get Bamboo huts, Tharu huts and Tree huts to stay. You have to book these huts and safari online in advance to avoid any rush and crowd. But do not loose hope if you find huts booked in advance. Just book your Safari and go you will find homestay nearby the forest an a luxurious hotel nearby. In total this is a place full of nature to enjoys your vacations with friends and family. You can reach here by air, rail and road. Nearest airports are Bareilly and Lucknow from there you can reach here by bus and taxi. Nearest railway station is Pilibhit Railway station. You can also plan Nainital, Mukteshwar not so far from PTR. Welcome to the Home of Tigers “PTR”

Amazing experience visiting PTR. I have been to a lot of tiger reserves/national parks but PTR will always stay close to my heart as I saw the first tiger ever here. The experience is magical. The canals, siphon point, barahsinga taal, chuka beach were all amazing places. Forest Guide Ravi was key to us sighting the tiger. Must visit.

Pilibhit is one of the few well-forested districts in Uttar Pradesh. According to an estimate of the year 2018, Pilibhit district has over 800 sq km(310 sq mi) forests, constituting roughly 23% of the district’s total area. Forests in Pilibhit have at least 65 tiger and a prey including five species of deer. The tiger reserve got the first International award TX2 for doubling the tiger population in a stipulated time.

We took a Jeep Safari in the afternoon of 3rd January 24. We could watch an Adult Male Tiger for about 20 minutes during the Safari. Visited Chuka Eco Tourism Spot also and enjoyed our trip.

Wonderful experience on Jeep Safari but was unlucky as I didn't see any Tiger during the safari. The atmosphere of the Jungle is too good, if you are planning in winters please carry a blanket with you while safari as it's too cold inside (morning safari).

These jungles of Tarai never disappoint. Beautiful Saal forests, long safari routes. The sightings happen mostly on the two parallel roads along the main canal. One of that is a pacca/paved road and rest of the roads are unpaved. There are some good guides. Do note there are no toilets inside or a central point kind of a setup like other parks. A small canteen and toilets are there on the gate. PS - This review of for Mustafabad range

The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is a beautiful and serene location that is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the chaos and noise of the city. This reserve is located in the Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh and is known for its diverse flora and fauna. As soon as I stepped foot into this location, I felt a sense of calm and tranquility that I had never experienced before. The lush green forests and the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves were a welcome change from the dried and dead concrete jungle of the city. The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is home to a variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, elephants, and deer. As I ventured deeper into the reserve, I came across several watering holes where animals came to drink and cool off from the heat of the day. One of the highlights of my visit to the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve was the jeep safari. The safari will took you through some of the most beautiful and scenic locations in the reserve, and you will able to spot several animals in their natural habitat. Overall, my visit to the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve was an unforgettable experience. The greenery, wildlife, and peaceful atmosphere of this location make it the perfect place to escape from the stresses of everyday life. If you are looking for a place to reconnect with nature and find inner peace, then the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is the perfect destination for you.

The jungles of pilibheet famous for the their tigers indeed are sure to give you a memorable experience. The peaceful environment with the chirping of birds, insects buzzing provides a quick escape from the daily hustle and bustle of life. Even though the tigers are a rarity, still this place offers a good spot for family outings and picnic.

Great place. Terrain is all good. Animals are many. Best thing is that this place isn't very famous yet so the number of tourists is low. This enables you to sight more animals then those places which are very hyped. Tiger sighting is most common here. Almost everyone gets a chance of tiger sighting who has a few safaris here. The staff (guides and drivers) is quite knowledgeable and helpful. A great place overall.

The habitat is characterized by sal forests, tall grasslands and swamp maintained by periodic flooding from rivers. The Sharda Sagar Dam extending up to a length of 22 km (14 mi) is on the boundary of the reserve.[

Good place for a day trip, calm and nice green forests with trails beside small rivers. We have to book safari(6 person per vehicle), the ride is good and ofcourse it depends on your luck to see a tiger. It would have been much better if the safari people are bit patient and give some extra time to stay there. Avoiding food in the restaurant at chuka beach will be better as it is too expensive for a breakfast. Overall it's a good destination for a short trip.

It's a beautiful place in the tarrai reason with good strength of tigers and deers, watch towers are also very well maintained and newly constructed. A huge jungle having huge grasslands with guest rooms next to a huge lake looks like a sea. You could see python, owl, wild boar, barking deer, spotted deer, swamp deer, porcupine, red jungle fowl, stork billed kingfisher

Let me share you my overall experience with you. 1)There are two tourist spot there in reserve - one is Tiger Reserve and other is Chuka Beach. 2) The total amount to visit both of the places is 3850 rs. For jeep which can carry 4-6 people. 3)You will be allotted 2 guys, one is driver and other is quite inexperienced guide. 4) You can see only cheetal deers and some other local animals easily. You have to carry a loads of luck to see a tiger or Bear. 5) The timings to visit the reserve is 7-10am and 2-5pm and for 11am for Chuka Beach. 6) you need only one day to visit a both of the places and you can rent Jeep offline. If you want to see the tiger you can stay many more days but still you need luck to see them. 6) Reserve remains close during June-November months. So all over, you can go there on weekends but need a lot of luck to see a tiger; the main reason behind visiting the place. You can take your own food you live nearby. Snacks are available at Chuka beach. If you have not done jungle safari in your life, you.should visit this place. A numbers of canals and ponds are here as well.
