I recently had the opportunity to stay at La Palace Sarovar Portico from December 2nd to 4th, 2023 with my family. While there were aspects of my stay that were satisfactory, I feel compelled to bring to your attention a particularly disheartening experience. Throughout my stay, I encountered a significant issue with the behavior of one of your front staff members, Swati. Unfortunately, her conduct was consistently rude and negatively impacted my overall impression of the hotel. Not recommended to anyone.

The only good part, about the hotel, is the location. Buffet options were limited, i had shower curtain rod falling on me twice. In this chilly winters of lko, the central AC was running and i had no option to select my own temperature even though I had a nice temperature controller in my room(only show piece). Staff was helpless. The hotel is not worth the money, u get better options elsewhere and u can reach Hazratganj as it's well connected by metro and road.

Very nice and spacious rooms. Service very good. Very tasty food, though nenu was limited. Staff was very supportive and courteous, especially, housekeeping and those manning the restaurant. Service was quick. Cleanliness was very good, ambience very good. Very well maintained property. Property is located in the heart of the city. No valet parking available, but hotel parking is available. All in all, a very good experience. Keep up the great work!! Would definitely recommend for families and will love to stay there when I am next in Lucknow...

I think the staff needs a refresher training and bit of proactiveness in the services specially at the reception and restaurant. The energy and positive vibes in them (that's the brand identity of *Sarovar Portico*) was not seen or felt. The good feel factor was missing. The property being amazing was the main reason of my selection but the stay could have been made better. Whatever we ate in the mad schedule of ours was kind of OK... Looking forward to the human changes as we travel on work all over the country and these matter.. All the very best as this still appears to be one of my favorite brands since long :) Thanks in anticipation.

It was the worst ever experience. First of all the lift was very small and very old. The sensors are not working properly.The room power supply got tripped and when we informed them about the same they were asking as if we have inserted the card properly or not. Not only this, the power supply got tripped two to three times at night. And at that time also, we were asked if the key is inserted at the right place. This is unbelievable and unacceptable. Nobody came to check even after calling them. Had to go downstairs at the reception and asked them to come with me and check the issue. As a result our whole night's sleep was disturbed. When we had already complained about the power issue during the day time, the same should have been rectified timely. Also, if the issue was persisting, they could have at least changed the room. Moreover, nobody was bothered or concerned enough to make our stay comfortable. However, their only concern was about getting good reviews and all the staffs were repeatedly asking about the same. This is very disappointing from a brand like Sarovar. Lastly, at the time of check out, the manager, Swati, asked about our experience. We informed about the same and then she showed her regret. But it was of no help. She offered us complimentaries as a token of regret. Because of her repeated request , we waited quite a good time for the same as we thought that she was really regretting that we had a very bad experience. But my goodness, box which we received was a Pandora Box. It consisted of two smelly cupcakes and four slices of fruit cakes and two bananas. This only spoiled the whole mood and was the last nail.in the coffin. This was clearly done to get good ratings. It's very sad to see such worst service. We are never ever going to try the Sarovar properties.

Had a great stay. Centrally located in Hazratganj. The rooms are hygienic and the service is excellent. The food prices are high .Actually u don't need to eat there as there are lots of famous eateries in 50mts. Overall enjoyable stay

Well maintained hotel in the middle of posh old area of Lucknow. Staff was very polite and the service was top notch. Breakfast was delicious with lots of food options. Hazratganj market is very near to this place. Rooms are spacious with all amenities kit and stationery as it was a work trip.

Good location, the food is great. The staff is courteous and friendly. The parking space is ample. It's quite close to the Hazratganj market area and close to some famous eating joints of lucknow.

The food was awesome. They take time to serve because they prepare fresh food. Very cosy hotel. All important destinations are close by. Being a Lucknowite, I love this area. This hotel is a real gem.

Staff was amazing and honest specially Mr Shivam Singh(Food and Beverages) . I lost my wallet into cafeteria while dinner and he found & return back to me immediatly. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Improve Area- Rusty handles of Main doors and noises between two rooms. Might be improved Rest experience was good. A hotel with decent amenities surely makes it up with outstanding guest service and the location. A special mention needs to be given to Shubman at the reception. A point very many properties loose out is due a certain amount of indiffrence of the staff, however Shubman was extremly acomodating and courteous . The second shoutout goes to the team at the restaurant (reception area). Great customer service. Perhaps the hotel does require few touch up's in terms of the general maintainence. However its a solid Up Vote for the property and its staff.

Had a fantastic experience staying at La Place Sarovar Portico. The hotel is situated in an excellent location next to Hazratganj market. It also has a cosy and warm atmosphere. We were well served by housekeeping staff, Yogesh and Neeru Sharma as well as restaurant stewardess, Mahima. Both the doormen on duty were very courteous and helpful as well. Highly recommend the hotel for someone looking for a cost effective, comfortable and convenient stay for business or leisure.

Perfect location, 500 meters from Hazratganj metro station. Very close to the shopping and restaurants also far enough from the traffic to ensure you get a good night's sleep

I do not know how this hotel got overall ratings of 4.2? It seems to be manipulated. If one wants to read real reviews then start from lowest ratings. I stayed in this hotel in third week of June’ 2023. The only plus point is its location at Hazratganj. The hotel stinks as you enter. They cheat on you. My travel agent booked a bigger room but they provided smaller one. Shifted when claimed. The food is too costly and tasteless. The staff at buffet breakfast were rude and serving you as they were doing some ehsaan. Same attitude shown by front desk staff barring few ones. They do not know politeness and courtesy. RO water was provided in room with ½ litre bottles and when asked to send more, reply was only 4 bottles will be provided at a time. While leaving I informed the receptionist that nothing has been consumed from snacks/drinks provided in room. Inform me the outstanding food bills. But he insisted that first vacate the room and then staff will check it. So, they do not believe your words. The snacks provided in rooms were priced at more than double the MRP. This is loot. The management is horrible and callous too as I didn’t find any response against reviews posted by customers, bad or good. They are in deep slumber. Last advice – you may get far better options in same or lower price. Avoid this hotel

An excellent experience. A hotel with respectable amenities more than makes up for it with fantastic customer service and location. The check-in process was quite easy, and they were gracious enough to give me a facility for an early check-in. I would want to summarize my experience here for a 2-day conference as having good accommodations, a fantastic location, and excellent service from the front-house/reception crew, especially Swati.

Excellent property and full value for money. This is not my first in a Sarover property and they have maintained their standards. This one is in heart of the Shopping area in Lucknow. The airconditioning, beddings, toiletries in washroom and housekeeping was Excellent. The Buffet breakfast was excellent with menu changing on a daily basis. Puri and potato bhaji on the first day of my stay left me licking my fingers The also have some South Indian items on daily basis which is rotated on a daily basis. The staff at the restaurant Pavilion where the breakfast is served are always attentive to guest and in many case very intuitive. Goes to show how well trained team they have. As in other Sarovar hotels the washroom Comode is a bit high and am sure other guests too feel uncomfortable on the comode due to its height. The best thing I love about Sarover is their initiative to use glass Refillable bottle for water. They have no plastic water bottle. Kudos for such an initiative

Okay kind of hotel. Rooms are small. Found the restaurant lagging a bit in terms of service timing. Simple order take long hours. Staff are excellent. Shivam, Shubham and Munna Tiwari made the stay very good with their service and approachability. Location is great. Easy approach from Airport. Don't use cab. Take the airport metro to Hazratganj.

Worst experience. Instead of charging 4880 they charged 5880 , so be careful while paying through cards. After raising complaint of overcharged amount they again charged for rs 4880 and told that wrongly charged Rs5880 will be refund back to my account . However it took me 5 days continuous follow up to get back my amount. Person at reception Mr Himanshu who was responsible for this even didn't picked up the phone. Very bad experience

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. The elegant decor and soothing atmosphere set the tone for a relaxing stay. Don't make the mistake to book in other places. La Portico is a great option with an exceptional service, super clean and comfortable rooms, and a very good restaurant. My family and I were very pleased during our stay in August 2022.

It's not the grandest of the hotels but the Rooms are quite good and the Hygiene is well maintained. Morning breakfast was amazing. The best part would be the location, in the middle of the city within the vicinity of the main Hazratganj market of Lucknow. So I Would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Lucknow and near Hazratganj.

Rooms are nice, staff cordial but service was a bit slow. In-room dining was good but not breakfast. Cleanliness was an issue, we got hair in our food twice over a period of 3 days.

Overall stay was good. Rooms were very clean & tidy. Bed was perfect. Overall hotel was very clean. The refrigerator in our room was not working but upon request they changed it for us. Good that they provide a working desk.

Its such a beautiful location in the heart of the city. In winters you will be welcomed with highly effective heaters and coal pits to make the ambiance cozy. Yummy pizzas and tasty cocktails made our evening perfect ! Must visit asap !!

This hotel is situated in the heart of Lucknow Hazratganj. The market place and the khau gali (evening mkt) is just walking distance. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the food was awesome. The overall experience was good. Will stay there again.

Had a call with room reservation for an early check in and the guy did not listen at all and rather misbehaved on the phone. His voice was high on pitch and rude.. he hung up the call as soon without listening and when I called the hotel back he disconnected it again. Horrible experience before even visiting the hotel. Certainly not recommended to anyone who is looking for a support from the hotel management.

Great rooms. Staff is very flexible in accomodating special requests. Quiet locality and close to Metro and Railway station.

First if all location wise it's very good as it is at the center of Lucknow, all places are in reach and not at much distance. The staff is very professional. The flooring, rooms, gadgets, carpets, paintings and even the interiors, everything is classy and has a royal touch and seems to have been bought with attention. The furniture is nice. They can improve on their buffet breakfast a bit with a little more options, though its good.

Great place to stay. Well connected. The only thing we didn't like is that the WC is very high. They should provide a low stool. The soap dispenser hardly dispenses any shower gel. Else the hotel is well maintained, Very neat & well equipment

Only good about the hotel is centrally located. Walking distance from Hazratganj. Else nothing great about the Hotel. I think good number of similar price hotels are available in the location. Serves only one complimentary package water. Boys and fronte desk are ignorent. No facilities for your driver's. Over all avoid staying here unless it's really throw away deal. Or u r stuck.

I stayed in this hotel from 22nd to 28th Dec 2022, i had a super comfortable stay. The hotel is value for money. The rooms are huge and luxurious, the furniture is very classic and the interiors of the hotel are very tastefully decorated. The hotel has a very Lucknow feel to it. The breakfast is amazing and the hotel staff very polite and courteous specially the room service guys Yogesh and Munindra. It is at a walking distance from the Hazratganj metro station and situated in the heart of the city. Can really recommend this hotel.

We were there to dine. This is a posh locality. Same can be said about the hotel. The dishes we had proper taste without unwanted colour enhancement. The serving staff was humble. The service was the best part of the visit. Peaceful and no nonsense location. Extremely recommended.

this place is centrally located ..... easy to reach.... rooms were decent..... elevator looks creepy and should be upgraded.....open parking available...... breakfast in bed not available.......room service tends to forget the requests....so, we need to call them in every 10 mins. to remind them......will give 4 out of 5

No complaints on this hotel, it is as peaceful as it can get!Simple interiors, clean rooms and toilets and also has everything you will need during your stay in Lucknow. The staff don’t bother you and it has a nice boutique hotel vibe. Fully reccomend!

Staff were highly cooperative, sensible and supportive. Food was great. Only thing is about the place, which is slightly inside from the main road. Not all rooms have a good view from Windows. Actually had to ask for change of rooms.

The restaurant is a part of Sarovar Portico hotel, Lucknow. This restaurant is closed. This is what was informed by the staff at 8pm when we reached there. They asked us to visit another restaurant that they have in house but said it will be closed by 9pm where as all Lucknow restaurants are allowed to operate till 10pm.A bit disappointed with this experience.

They took extra time in handing out the keys to us, though, we reached the hotel @5pm. The lobby and the room were good, there was no foul smell. The room (we chose a queen size bed room) was spacious and the bathroom was neat and clean. I loved the rain shower 🚿. We had dinner and breakfast buffet at the hotel. A tad expensive given the size of the hotel but overall food quantity and quality was 👍. The hotel is located in a posh hazratganj area and you can shop and eat in and around. It has underground metro 🚇 station which connects with airport (🤔) nearby.
