This is situated at the platform no 9 side. You can easily get lots of Restaurants good and average type also low budget hotels are available near this place. Auto rickshaws connecting to the rest of the town are available here. So this place is very crowded and not that neat and clean.

Ghantaghar was the location of some of the events relating to the Indian's freedom movement. On 30 March 1919, many protesters were killed by the British soldiers. This monument is located on the Ghantaghar chauraha near Kanpur Central Railway Station. This looks really good at night when it gets light up in the different colors.

Very heavy rush all time and also good plsce many hotels reat room and fast food shop

Not as good as I was expecting. It is in the heart of Kanpur Central, but found it very crowded and full of garbage on street. No luxury hotels and restaurants. Found Dhabas and so kind of hotels. Its a place where kirana mandis are there. Not good for tourists.

It's very true that this clocktower was built in british era when only few could afford a clock. It's in pathetic condition now as it is dead and the tower in dalipaded state surrounded by encroachment and garlanded by a open garbage dumpyard 10 meters in front of it. Tha civic athorities are insensible.....
