Me
and
wife
stayed
in
this
nice
semi-luxury
hotel
for
three
days.
My
wife
was
attending
the
workshop
at
Kanpur
University,
addressed
by
the
state
Governor.
Enjoyed
every
bit
of
our
stay.
We
drove
in
straight
from
Delhi/Noida
and
reached
here
by
early
evening.
Tired,
we
found
this
hotel
as
a
great
relief.
Slept
in
cosy
room
immediately
after
arrival
and
enjoyed
the
first
dinner
as
both
of
us
were
hungry
too.
We
found
the
hotel
as
per
our
expectations.
The
toilet
generally
is
a
concern
for
us
and
here
we
found
it
to
be
very
hygienic.
Very
well
organised
washroom
equipped
with
all
necessities
like
shampoo,
body
lotion,
hand
wash,
toothbrush
kit
etc.
Liked
their
arrangement.
The
room
was
well
designed
and
the
double
bed
was
cosy
enough
to
give
you
a
good
sleep.
The
biggest
drawback
was
lack
of
a
window
or
some
ventilation
for
fresh
air.
Once
you
lock
the
room
you
do
not
know
what
the
weather
is
outside.
In
summers
there
is
complete
dependence
on
air-conditioning.
Once
ac
is
off
you
start
feeling
suffocated.
The
prime
reason,
perhaps,
is
the
small
piece
of
land
where
it
is
built.
You
may
feel
closer
to
nature
if
owners
purchase
next-door
land
and
develop
it
as
open
space
to
support
the
eco-system
of
their
hotel.
A
green
lawn,
open
to
sky
environ,
small
water
body
play
a
significant
role
in
boosting
the
environment.
Complimentary
breakfast
served
in
a
buffet
format
is
star
attraction.
I
tried
several
items
but
with
dietary
limitations
I
had
to
skip
several
things.
Better
next
time.
I
have
already
written
separately
on
food.
The
room
service
is
good
and
courteous.
I
would
suggest
them
to
get
a
trolley
to
bring
lunch/
dinner
to
your
room.
NOT
ECONOMY
HOTEL:
The
lighting
in
lobbies,
though
small
and
narrow,
is
done
tastefully.
The
management
has
made
every
effort
to
make
it
an
attractive
place
which
is
modern,
decent
and
at
the
same
time
luxurious
too
where
patrons
do
not
feel
disappointed.
Prices
cannot
be
said
to
be
very
affordable
for
every
family
visiting
Kanpur.
So,
if
you
think
you
can
put
an
extra
pressure
on
your
wallet
you
are
here
at
a
decent
place.
PARKING:
The
hotel
doesn't
have
dedicated
parking
lot.
They
have
some
space
at
the
entrance
where
cars
are
parked.
If
full
to
the
capacity
you
are
going
to
face
difficulty
in
parking
your
vehicle.
CONCLUSION:
A
nice,
decent
hotel
for
a
short
stay
only.
Because
there
is
little
or
no
ventilation
you
might
feel
suffocated
after
a
certain
period.
Importantly,
this
does
not
seem
to
be
a
right
place
for
physically
challenged
people.
The
entrance
has
a
few
stairs
which
older
people
or
persons
with
physical
difficulties
might
find
unsuitable.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
view
from
your
room
then
again
this
can't
be
your
choice.
Yes,
if
you
want
to
be
pampered
during
your
short
stay
or
look
forward
to
be
treated
like
a
VIP
then
Downtown
is
a
right
choice.
Of
course,
buffet
breakfast
is
one
thing
that
I
highly
recommend.
At
least,
I
liked
their
breakfast
most.
