The hotel has been recently remodeled. The rooms are modern, bright, and very clean. The manager and staff are helpful and kind. Breakfast provided a nice assortment of options. It was a four star stay for a two star price! Excellent value! Highly recommended.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights and was so impressed by the professional care each employee displayed. I had the flight from hell coming up from Dallas - and when I arrived at the hotel I was early. The gentleman checking me in told me that as long as my room had already been cleaned, he would be happy to let me check in. The room was ready, I checked in and collapsed on the comfy bed. I also I kept loosing my door cards, got locked out twice, and after checking out - I left my Kindle under my pillows on the bed. I felt horrible - kept apologizing to everyone but the staff was as nice as could be. They didn't consider anything to be a problem - they were delightful people! The room was very clean, spacious with every amenity I could ask for. I particularly liked the little store where they sell drinks & munchies. Loved It! Much better than loosing my money in a vending machine. I highly recommend this hotel - close to the airport and within driving distance to many things - - I was attending a wedding and found the whole area to be nice (with sweet people).

This was a very nice hotel, for an overnight stay. It was clean and fresh, the rooms were roomy, and the beds comfortable. It’s in a good location right off of the highway. I left early, before the continental breakfast was served proper but I was able to get coffee and some fresh fruit before I left. Went to 3Halves brewpub for good BBQ and beers. I would check it out if you’re looking for something good to eat.

Modern room, nice set up. The girl that checked me in was very helpful. Great location! The reason I’m giving 3 stars mainly.. The comforter had food stains. The room has an awful dirty smell when you walk in. I found belongings from previous guest and there was soda in the room sink. Obviously the room was not cleaned properly. Overall meh.

The first room that I was assigned to had wrinkled sheets and discoloration on one side of the bed only. This indicated to me that these sheets been slept on and not changed from previous guest. The second room I was assigned had not been cleaned at all. The bed and sofa sleeper looked like someone just got up out of bed. The third room seemed OK except that the rug had trash all over. It had not been vacuumed. That leads me to wonder what other room cleaning steps were skipped? I asked the front desk clerk if they always had these problems and she told me that the housecleaning staff had Thursdays off and it was up to other staff to clean rooms. My advice is to not stay at this hotel on Thursday nights. I personally will not stay at this hotel again on any night of the week.

Very nice and modern room, but it wasn’t clean. It was actually quite dirty - surfaces not wiped down, bathroom floor/shower walls stained, mirrors cloudy. Also no hot water and the pressure was really bad. Woman at the front desk was helpful but rather cold, almost like she was afraid of me. Overall this hotel has amazing potential just needs better staff.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the wrong room type on arrival, but they were able to find us a different room even though they were busy. Breakfast was waffles, yogurt, cereal, toast, prepackaged baked goods and hard boiled eggs. Rooms were clean. Beds were pretty comfy. There is a Hy-Vee across the street with great gas prices, snacks and drinks.

Friendly professional staff, very clean motel. Comfortable bed and pillows for a good night's sleep. Continental breakfast could use fruit and salt for boiled eggs. Good waffles. Shower was lacking water pressure but motel is overall good, we would stay again.

My mom came to Missouri from Wisconsin and they let me and my family go visit her at the hotel and even let us use their common area to eat. They said alot of the hotels they called would not allow guests. Hotel was very clean and tidy. People at the front desk were very helpful and very polite. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall I had a positive experience at Microtel Inn. There is onsite parking, and the service in terms of the different people who helped check us in and out was great. The breakfast is conveniently served very early and there is a pretty decent variety of items to choose from and it's pretty standard (waffle maker, white bread, packaged sugary items, cereal, orange juice, milk and coffee). My only quibble would be there is no fresh fruit. The room was modern looking and largely pretty functional. The bed was comfortable but not the width of a queen. Once again I encountered a hotel with pillows all the same size. With the amount of free space next to the bed they could have had a table, couch or something else to put a suitcase on. The worst part of the room was we stayed on the top, 4th, floor and it rained hard one night of our stay. It was quite loud. It sounded like the roof was a tin can and I lost sleep. Other than that it was pretty quiet except for the occasional kid stomping down the hall. There were a lot of younger folks (i.e. kids) here being it's relatively cheap. I would stay here again if in the area and looking to save some money. I would just hope it doesn't rain.

Very nice and clean, breakfast wasn’t great but it had the basics. Clean room. Towels were nice!

The front desk staff is very friendly! The indoor pool was nice, but cold. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The price is very affordable for the area. This hotel is just as nice as the higher end ones around! I highly recommend this place, and we will stay again!!

Front desk staff was super nice and enjoyable to talk to. Other than a loud upstairs neighbor (that was taken care of the moment we called the front desk) our stay was comfortable and refreshing.

Front desk guy (didn't get his name 😔) was super sweet! I would absolutely come back! Rooms were great! Breakfast was great! Just a overall great experience.

After reading all the reviews for hotels in the area, we chose THIS property. We were NOT disappointed. Very nice lobby, friendly staff. “continental” breakfast was complete & well maintained, pool was refreshing, room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No frills, but well maintained.

Check in was easy & fast. Our room was clean however there was no bath soap or body was in the bathroom. The front desk informed me that they have new staff that had not been trained. Breakfast options were very limited to waffles & cold syrup. No cereal, orange juice or water only coffee
