We stayed here for business, 3 of us as we stayed on our paperwork. We did have a friend/business associate visit, the moment he walked into our room the staff began calling us. Demanding he leave and he repeatedly called when he stayed longer than the staff wanted. I will never stay here again and don’t recommend it to others. How can one be so rude to guests when we are the ones paying them. Not Professional!! Made our guest feel uncomfortable to the point he left. Room 110, 6/14/23

Update 22 May 2023 It's definitely a change from before. Service is bad at front reception. They don't understand they are in the service business, and customer interaction is the mainstay of their job. Would not keep the person on the day shift in my company for more than a second. The lady who does, I guess, cleaning or is related to the front desk person both who are so unfriendly. Pathetic. They don't replenish the coffee in the room, and when you go to the front desk, the attendant says he will tell them. Excuse me? Tell them what? That they kept no coffee? If you think every guest is here to empty your cheap hotel, choose a different line. You have my business because you are the only hotel in De Soto. Get competition, and you would be tossed aside. If you don't mind being out of De Soto, choose a hotel in Kansas City. It is not too far. *********************** Stayed here for 2 nights. At the outset one must realize that this is the only place in De Soto so in a small town don't expect to see some 5 star luxurious hotel. The hotel is decent, has clean rooms and comfortable beds. Housekeeping has good staff and hotel is quiet enabling you to get a good night's sleep. Dis not have breakfast but the fare is very small and simple so don't expect to see a hot breakfast. Within a few yards there is McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut and a very decent grocery store Harps. Besides these there is a Dollar General, gas station. Front desk staff are good so all in all a pretty good place to stay.

It's definitely a convenient location for a wedding I was attending at the red barn an exit down highway 10. The breakfast was cut off a little early for my taste, 9:30 instead of 10. It's not the Ritz by any means but it's perfectly suitable at a decent price. The bed was clean and comfy and I got the essential channels I'd expect from a hotel. The staff was always there when I needed them, which was only two times at check in and out. Plenty of parking with easy access to side doors and whatnot.

Sleep in comfy clean room with restaurants and grocery store very close, as well as service stations for fuel. Managers very friendly and courteous. Zero complaints on rooms. (4.5⭐)

Clean room. Entry not very inviting, no artwork, only small love seat shoved against a wall. Artwork, an area rug,a side table a comfy chair and some current magazines would go a long way in upping the first impression.

Staff was amazing. Answered all my concerns . I would recommend super 8 to anyone looking for a motel

They changed me for a night I didn't stay. I called the 800 number and was told I'd be transferred to a different person, then was hung up on.

We stayed for 2 days and our stay was really nice. Good housekeeping and very friendly staff. We asked for extra blankets and they didn’t even ask why, they just gave it without hesitation. Amazing breakfast .

No! Placed sucked!! Parking lot was Totally empty! Hallway smelled like smoke.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The manager gave me a very early check in without additional cost! My room has a refrigerator and microwave. The bed is super comfy. Very quiet and peaceful here, and the prices are nice. This is an older building and isn't the most perfect place, but the service makes up for it.
