    Sushi and sashimi presentation was not super appealing, some of the sushi rice was not properly prepared or perhaps had sat in the warmer too long, however overall, the fish was a decent temperature and was very edible. Venue is okay for bite and a drink, but this is not an elite sushi destination. I lived in Asia for 5yrs and ate sushi every day of that time, so I am surprised by all the phenomenal reviews.... Then again, Midwesterners think of rolls when they think of sushi, so I probably shouldn't be surprised at all. The host Julian was kind and smiled a lot and our waitress was great as well. I will likely visit again, but will have these expectations in mind when I do so.

    Worst experience ever. We ordered Valentine’s special and when we got home and opened the box there was a cockroach in it! The Valentine’s Day dinner was ruined of course. We complained to the management, they apologized in a professional manner, but we will never go back to that place again.

    Because of Covid we chose to eat outside on their wonderful patio. Beautiful area and not too hot. To limit contact you scan a QR code for the menu and pay that way as well. The food and drinks were brought out in a timely fashion. We ordered the chicken fried rice and 3 different sushi rolls along with drinks. The food was very good and staff was attentive.

    Had dinner with a friend after a night at Comic Con. Ordered with their QR code menu but they are attempting to return to physical menus. All the staff was polite. Everyone has their masks on accordingly. Ordered our food as depicted in the pictures (although we had some of our delicious potstickers already!) Great experience aside from us never receiving our side order of sauces (Sriracha for me and spicy mayo for my friend) and still being charged for it. Enjoyed the food, hoping it's just a small oversight.

    Very cool location. The sushi is good, though I can't help feeling that it's a "food chain" recipe. I honestly did not care for the order-by-phone approach, but that's a by-product of the pandemic. I will return.

    I always seek out new restaurants. I was walking around in downtown #Kansas City quite famished. I had already eaten at almost every other restaurant within 10 blocks. I walked in the 🚪 and I must say the atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting. I was greeted by several staff. They were all wearing wide open smiles. Kit was my server. She was so attentive, kind, and accommodating. I ordered seafood fried 🍚. You might think that fried rice is the same all over. Let me say that it is not. My meal was so scrumptious. The flavors exploded in my 👄. I enjoyed the complexities of flavors and textures! The aroma was even more amazing. Unfortunately, they were out of the 🦞 and 🍤 spring rolls. I plan on returning soon to give those a try. What a wonderful dining experience!

    This place is mine and the Hubby's date night spot! Anytime we want to get out and enjoy yummy drinks and the BEST sushi in town. We come here! The staff is always really nice and helpful and as well. I highly recommend for a nice date night or even a fun girls night out. They have a really nice roof top bar as well. Go Check it out! My favorite roll is the superman roll!

    This place is a shadow of what it used to be. They’ve replaced waiters with a phone app. Items are seemingly impossible to customize and flagging down help from the lady that cleans the tables is only made worse by her lack of care. Our appetizers came out 10 minutes apart even though we ordered 2 of the same item. It’s dirty inside on floors and surfaces and bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The food quality was just OK. Service has vanished from this restaurant so it you’re wanting food from a machine this is your place. For a nice date, move on. There’s a reason this place is empty at noon on Friday. We won’t be back

    We went there on a slowwwww night, there was only 2 tables in the whole place and yet our food was slow getting to us, our appetizer of spinach dip with chips we got the last of a bag of crushed chips and had to ask them to replace the chips took them forever to get the food done and my wife's burger had a foreign object on it that even the server was confused by it. If this is how they handle a slow night I hate to see a busy night.

    Had the appetizer artichoke dip it tasted like somebody had a dirty dish rag and wipe the counter before they made it. But the steak was perfect the shrimp also had kind of a soapy Dawn dish soap taste but only on one so whoever was washing their hands didn't finish washing. The waitress was taking so long to get my food

    They have an elegant dinning system; everything is handled over your phone: your payments, orders, the tips. Wait staff are readily available to assist you and stop by check on you. The food was fresh, the place was clean. Our temperature was taken upon entry and masks were required until we were actively eating and drinking. We were socially distanced from others who were dinning. Not only would I recommend this place, but I would also go again - more than once!

    The food was great, the cocktail was SUPER mediocre. I'd not go there for the drinks but I'd surely go back for more food! Also our server was super great and checked up on us often. I'd reserve beforehand if I were you, especially on weekends.

    The food was very good! The host who seated us was so helpful in explaining their ordering process, it’s all done on your phone. Service was good and our servers were very attentive. My friend and I had not seen each other in months and because the patio was not crowded ( just us) we stayed to catch up and just enjoy each others company. It was hot and humid with a small breeze and after getting two refills on our water they cut us off☹️. We had paid our tab so I guess they didn’t want to be bothered by us any longer. The restaurant wasn’t busy, it was about 1:30, and no crowd so I’m not sure why a refill on our water was 🙅‍♀️. I do recommend this place,but don’t try to overstay your welcome 😅 I did get a reply to my review that I thought was very sincere. (It’s captioned in the photos ). Therefore, I added another star. Next time I visit I’m sure I’ll give it 5 stars

    Everything was great during our visit! Our server was on top of everything and other server kept our water filled at all times. Our server recommended her favorite which was the lobster spring roll and it was AMAZING! Thank you! I loved this place, great patio, service, sushi & sake! 2nd visit 5/31/21: sushi is yet amazing once again! 👏 for the kitchen staff! They are on it and consistent. Server (blonde/pink hair), however was absolutely horrible...couldn’t figure out if she was high or just completely out of it...I understand bad days but this service...no reason for it. Our sake was never brought to us after ordering, I asked her to check on it twice...still never got it. Instead we watched her to continue to go back and take sips of her water and wipe down tables right after I asked... Keep in mind, they were not busy...she just apparently couldn’t remember to go get it or check on it. Bad service really kills restaurants even if they have phenomenal food!

    I live in east Tulsa so I like to support the businesses in the area. This place has gone so downhill I dont think I'll ever come back..3 visits in a row have had horrible service. Tonight the music was so inappropriate, I'm not a prude or anything close but to have to listen to run by Tony k, just go check the lyrics, I googled it to make sure I heard what I thought . So I will eat my food drink my beer and move on to a different restaurant in the future

    Had a reservation for 9pm was here on time and waiting at the front bybthe host booth, the host (KP) allows three people to pass right by and lie about a reservation she proves they dont have one and I speak up and tell her "I was here first and actually have a reservation" she confirmed it but still sat the three other people down first! This is my 5th time here and it will definitely be my last thanks to (KP the host) I wish management would read this and reach out to me because i am not happy. Please check the camera at 9pm on 11/7/20 See kp take a bribe as well from them (cash) to move them ahead of us with no reservation.

    I haven't been here since lockdown so it had been about 18 months. I was very pleased. I could see that they had taken out tables, they took out Temps at the door and had sanitizer available. More importantly all the servers did a wonderful job checking on us. The menu was on toasttab so if you're unfamiliar as you order it precharges your card, and then you can settle up and divide as needed at the end. We ordered the Kamikaze roll and Philly roll. I did not have the kamikaze but the Philly was good. Also ordered the Spicy Eskimo roll, which typically comes with roe/caviar which I omitted. It was very smokey and delicious. I did not think the slice of jalapeno was too much but worked well. And was definitely my favorite. I also had the Starburst roll, which it too usually had roe/caviar however I declined. (All in the app, it's very detailed 👌) We ordered plum wine first which came in moments. As you can see the rolls were beautiful, filling and just delicious. I will be getting the eskimo roll for lunch regularly. Finished with a bit of coffee mochi for desert which was enough for 2. All in all a lovely dining experience. I was seriously put off by the state of the ladies room, which is why I'm omitting the 5th star. Unfortunately these restaurants expect their servers to keep the bathrooms clean, during service and they can't. And it shows.

    I NEVER give poor reviews. MAINLY BECAUSE I'M A BUSINESS OWNER. BUT IN THIS CASE... This review is not about the great greeter, our great waiter, the very helpful bar staff, or even about management trying to assist with my issue. This 1 star review is about the fact that this restaurant in the renowned power and light district, describes itself as upscale and even mentions a dress code, has the nerves to allow us to sit at a table or in an area that I could not only smell the dirty carpet below us, but This restaurant or at least " our section"is infested with gnats. We had to cover our food and drinks while we watch flying bugs hover over and land on our unfinished soup and appetizers. As I waited in disgust, I spoke with the manager to inform her of this issue. Her reasoning didn't necessarily make sense, but I heard her out in efforts to not create a scene, and to be fair and give them another chance, I moved to a different section. A very uncomfortable wood square table and chairs. Definitely not upscale. I was not pleased with where I was sitting, and a non intimate area where the servers go in and out of the kitchen. Okay now we have a new wonderful and pleasant waiter, but here comes the not so wonderful frozen dinner imitation chicken breast that they brought to the table.. and I won't even mention how bad the Philly cheese steak sushi was. Yes I will.. first of all where did y'all get this steak.. or is it steak.. And how long has it been sitting wherever y'all got it from.. And why would you bring this to me.. Are you serious? You definitely would eat this yourself.. stop playing.. I could go on about the hard rice or even the fact that my sushi felt like it's been on display for a couple of months. At this point, I'm so done with this place. They finally bring out my rice, steaming hot and perfect. I took it to go, just to be nice, And definitely was not bothered when I left it in the hotel fridge, Because all I could think about was my poor experience. Well management did take 50% off my bill.. which was the appetizers that I ate until I started shooing flies away.. and drinks.. eh.. I definitely feel like as a business owner, I would have definitely comped The entire bill for my horrible experience. At this point you owe me for wasting my time, and now I'm still hungry. I've spent over 2 hours in here, the first hour and a half ordering through your self ordering system, that took my money five times out of my account and still didn't work, to me waiting another 45 minutes as I watch nets hover over my food. Needless to say after I pay for my food and before I left. I left all three of my waiters, the first one, the one at the bar, and the second one, $5, $10, and $15 tips. Because I can't knock their service. I even appreciated the kind and warm greeting on my way out of the door from the distinguished gentleman. I strongly suggest that you guys replace that awful smelling carpet under that large table near the bar area, and clear your dining area of pestering flying insects. Also figure out you are scanning ordering system, and maybe assist so we don't have to wait an hour to order since we have four people that I have to input their order on my phone, And maybe bring the food out a little quicker, and you might want to make sure it's hot, and not stale.     I've been a regular at Drunken Fish for a while now, since I moved into the area a few years ago. It's been my go-to for a long time as they've got some pretty good fried sushi options. More times than not though, they often mess my "no cheese" change to the roll. I usually just send it back and get my order 10 minutes later than my friends. More recently, I didn't realize until after I ate it. I am unfortunately lactose intolerant, so I told them hoping they'd understand & give me some compensation due to the suffering I was about to endure because of their mistake lol but to no avail. The cocktails are overpriced, because although sometimes tasty, there's hardly any alcohol in it. The staff is usually pretty friendly though.

    We sat at the bar and were asked to place an order on our phones. We did although we requested paper menus. We sat as our drink tickets printed and then waited another 15 minutes for a server to come back and acknowledge our drink ticket. The drink wasn't terrible but I had trouble with having 3 strawls served in my martini. Food was OK at best. I dropped my chop stick and found multiple cockroaches near my feet as I bent over to grab it.

    Came from the Omaha area to KC for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were seated immediately (my husband made reservations) and he must have told them it was our anniversary, as they brought over 2 glasses of complementary champagne. Very nice touch. It was our first time here, & ordering on the website was easy, but it would have been nice to see a full menu to see all that was available. Service was great and we were checked on several times. We ordered 2 rolls, sashimi, nigiri & a noodle bowl. Everything was fresh & tasty. Why only 3 stars? It was sushi, it was good, but they are a bit over priced for what you get, & it’s not anything special. I’d eat there again, but they didn’t win me over, as my new, must visit, KC Sushi spot.

    Great place for sushi, drinks, & an excellent view of some of the P&L District! We went expecting to possibly get roof top seating, but due to Covid that was not an option.(Aug.2020) Patio seating was available though & that was a great second option. Service was kind of slow this night & we weren't informed upon seating that ordering was done per the app until we asked. It seemed to be that some of the staff appeared to be irritated, by just doing their job... so unfortunately due to that I couldn't rate it a full 5 stars. Although the service was lax the food & drinks were wonderful & the atmosphere was great! Maybe we caught them on a bad night. Would visit again & recommend!

    I have a lot of respect for the way this place is handling Covid protocols. So plan extra time or make a reservation. The sushi is the best! It’s absolutely delicious. Our service wasn’t the best because we had to use an app to order and they lost some of our order. The ambiance was terrific though.

    Margarita was okay so they deserved two star, although I like it sweet it was a bit too sweet. Server never checked up on us after we got our food because I sure did needed a refill on my water because my margarita was a tiny too sweet. Needed the water to help water down the sweetness as I finish the margarita. My chicken was a bit dry from the corners. I guess its okay. After I finish paying and was about to do the feedback that was later asked. The server walked up to the table and said ill finish that feedback for you and I watch her rated herself 5 star on all the questions. Wow! Lol! I usually tip 10 or more if they do a good job, but this time I tip just because the margarita was okay. So 5 dollar is enough. Husband said three dollars but its okay. 5 dollar I won't go broke. #lightysalty

    It was nice to be out again...I ordered the riblets platter and it was unusual. It wasn't distasteful it just wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I was told it was boneless but it was the flat bone edges that kept tricking me I would think it was most and it would be a bone piece. Other than that it was nice to have a waitress once again social distance and paper menus a plenty. Friendly staff made it all worth while.

    We decided to try the bourbon chicken and shrimp meal with mashed potatoes and the 4 way sampler. We topped it off with a fantastic dessert of triple chocolate overload. This has by far been our best meal ever from Applebees and we will be ordering again!😀😀😀

    Not my favorite menu but husband loves the Oriental salad. Grilled chicken breast was moist & delicious, broccoli was good but no seasoning, green beans were stringy and undercooked but well seasoned. Doing a great job with Covid rules. A nicer restaurant than the one we had in Fort Worth.

    Service is terrible. Baby back ribs were good, not fall off the bone as advertised but good. Garlic mashed potatoes would have been better if they had been hot. Will not go back. Wish they were better since it's close to where I live.

    We placed a pick up order and our sushi rice was dry in each roll, melted desert not bagged separately. Do not recommend.

    Absolutely fantastic customer service. I placed an order through GrubHub, but noticed a certain item wasn’t on their menu. I called the store to have it added to my order and the woman who answered the phone had impecable customer service. I apologize for not remembering your name, but thank you.

    My stepdaughter had her birthday dinner there. My second time going. The first time I did not eat, this time I ate it was very delicious. The chicken wings were fabulous.

    Ordered the Jalapeno house salad. Look at the menu picture compared to what I received. Yellow parts of iceberg lettuce is not even close to what is shown in the picture. Horrible.

    Too much ice in the fish bowl. Website a little difficult to order from. Delicious though.

    Terrible service, non-functional “online” ordering system. No option to just order from your server. Manager was unconcerned and barely apologetic. Will not come back.

    The website you are requiring to use at the table does not work. You refuse to take any other firm of payment and your servers are glorified food runners now. Manager was unhelpful and uninterested. Past experiences have been mediocre food anyway so we will never be returning or recommending. I don’t see this place surviving the pandemic. The poor staff! Thank goodness Kona is close by.
