April 16, 2022 approx 11:15am, we had a HORRIBLE experience! We are regulars at this location and after this morning our favorite to go to place is no longer. We were sat promptly, the waitress came over and asked what we’d like to drink, we ordered our drinks and said we were ready to order food as well. She stated she didn’t have her paper and she’d be back. She came back with our drinks ready for our order. I am an adult, however, I ordered a kids meal, I need smaller portions of food. She said she couldn’t do that and I explained I had ordered and received the same thing last week. The other two in my party ordered theirs and she walked away shaking her head. We then heard a loud conversation happening toward the back and specifically heard “a full size adult ordering a kids meal”….. I spoke up and said we were leaving because we could hear the discussion and judgment. I understand they needed to have a conversation, however, I shouldn’t have been able to hear them across the room. The waitress didn’t asked if it was for a medical condition, she didn’t offer that they could but there would be an additional charge (which I have never had an issue with paying for, I get it). The staff on duty definitely needs training on how to handle sensitive situations so an entire restaurant doesn’t hear it and doesn’t make someone feel so belittled. Very sad day for our family!

There's something to being good and not spectacular or out of this world. Austin's is precisely that, a good solid dining option. The food menu is pretty good, especially the fried chicken caesar salad. The lettuce was fresh, and the chicken breading was a nice blend of flaky and crunchy. Their servers are pretty good as well. They engage in some small talk but otherwise were straight to business. The restaurant is relatively new, very clean, and even has a decently large patio as well! The ambiance is ideal for a casual lunch/dinner with friends or coworkers.

We go to this location once a week, we'll did. This location is 9/10 food is pretty good service is always pretty good. HOWEVER, we will not be returning until the male manager named Daniel is removed or fired. He is a condescending jerk. Absolutely rude and doesn't let the customer explain anything before he just cops an attitude. We were actually here celebrating a birthday and we all just walked out because of him. I told our server who was super sweet, it was not her fault.

We have lived in Olathe for five years. Except for the two months that we go South we have been to Austin’s most every Monday night. We have had some very nice experiences there. Tonight we had the rudest person ever at the check in desk. She said we needed reservations because all of the people that come to watch basketball games were going to be there. I asked about all of the people who come in a regular basis to eat. She said she works there every Monday and had never seen me. What a rude thing for a manager-hostess to say. I hope Mr. Blum reads this report.

Enjoyed our visit. The bar and room was crowded. Open seating though on patio. In spite of cool heaters, it can be a little chilly on the legs. The bar was very loud.. of course.. it’s a sports bar. But I would not have been able to talk with my wife at the table. The patio was quiet and served us best. Service was great. I got the chicken strips… they are so moist you can cut them with a fork. Also large. I can eat a lot and ended eating only four. My wife’s salad was good. I would recommend Austin’s if your looking for a sports bar to watch your favorite game. Bottled domestic is $1 off at happy hr.

It was all just okay. Drink, food, service not bad, but not really special or wonderful in anyway. Our table got 4 different things and they were all equally mediocre. We were at a winery near by and just picked a restaurant for lunch. Probably wont be back. The restraunt was mostly empty when we arrived and they sat us right next to a table with 2 crying babies, I understand how sections work but there were tables in the same room even that would've been better.

We sat on the patio and had a great time. As part of a party of 4, we all had the chicken sandwich, some spicy, some not, and we all enjoyed it very much. They offer a great selection of craft beers, and even though we all ordered the same menu item, they have a variety of options. Can't wait to return.

This has potential to be a great place. The bar and restaurant are set up nice. The service was slow and a little short with our lunch group of 5. They use to have a condiment area to select your own but guess that went away with pandemic. Too bad, that was a nice touch. Different take on Chicken Tortilla soup. It is ok. The tenderloin sandwich was very good but didn't add the jalapenos I asked for. Average.

Met our adult children for lunch at this new Austin’s Bar and Grill. I forgot to take a a picture of their amazing fried pickle chips! We will be back!

The food is overpriced and the server wasn't great. Forgot to bring utensils, had to ask twice for a beer, and I don't think she smiled once or offered a pleasant word. The $10 dinner special included tough chicken fried steak, a cold brown-and-serve roll and canned corn. Good beer selection and seemed like the patio would be fun during nice weather.

I've been to Austin's once before and had a good experience. Every other time it's been packed, so it must be good. Returned today for lunch and had the buffalo chicken wrap. Had the option of having it made with ranch or blue cheese, which was nice. The tots were crispy and tasty. Service was great. I drink a lot of tea so the server brought me two and kept them both refilled. I will go back (when I can make sure I'll have a table.)

I was with a group and we arrived early, checked in and it was packed. JEREMY one of the Mgrs introduced himself and found us a place to wait and even got us a drink! He was very helpful and that place should be glad to have him!. 15 min later we had a table and Celia, our waitress had drinks and GREAT FOOD on our table. We had a wonderful night!!

Cool place! Staff are super friendly and helpful, the environment is family friendly and the food is amazing! Got a burger with fries, and the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, yum! The burger was outstanding! Messy, but delicious!!!! Also got the fried pickles, which are a must! Very well made and the sauce that comes with them is really good! Sitting outside with a sunset view was also a win!

Very much like twin peaks and applebees but higher quality. I had the biggest and tastiest burger of my life. Excellent service, the staff also checked out my skateboard while I was there and thought it was dope. Good food, great atmosphere and great service. One for the books.

Having been to Austin’s many times, I have tried their chicken tenders, fries, burgers, tacos, and wells. All of these I would return for and order again. I would also highly recommend taking a look at the daily specials and happy hour options. For their Taco Tuesday special, they offer soft or hard shelled tacos at $2.50 each. The shells are standard size, and the default contents are a selected protein, cheese, shredded lettuce, and a side of salsa. Other toppings, such as sour cream, can be added upon request. The atmosphere is often a bit loud, especially during happy hours and specials, but in general is no issue. For any patrons who may be more sensitive to noise, I would suggest visiting during less busy hours, siting outside, or requesting a table more on the outer perimeter of the restaurant. The patio area is quite lovely and offers a variety of seating options. The tables available are covered.

My first time there (11/7/23). There's ample parking, it's well lit, and inviting. I was greeted and seated immediately. It was late afternoon on a weekday. So it was very busy. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and attentive. We, my daughter and I, had the fried pickles as an appetizer and it was very tasty. I was a little disappointed with the portion size. I thought there'd be more than 16 pickle slices but that's just me. My daughter had the Mac n' Cheese and tater tots (she's 18 but still eats like she's 6😁). She finished everything and commented on how good the Mac N Cheese was. I had the BLT and it was very good. I do like bacon a little more crispy but that's a personal preference. Being a sports bar I was impressed to see all the TV's on various sports. Too many of today's sports bars don't do this for some reason. I'm gonna go back on a Saturday for college football games and see what it's like. I'd highly recommend Austin's.

Austin's has a great atmosphere with several TVs playing various sports games. They have a bar area, restaurant area, and a covered outdoor seating area with heaters for cooler temps. They have a normal selection of bar and grill food. Burgers are good, and chicken tortilla soup is awesome!

Amazing food and lots of TVs showing all the good sports. The fried pickles were the best I've ever had, and the burger was perfect.

Bar was half packed and service was horrible. I tried helping clean the table and got an attitude about helping. Waited 30 minutes for a drink, waitress was rude and unapologetic about the service. I've never not left a tip and always tipped heavy. This time is a first for me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I've frequently visited Austin's but not this one. Will not be back.

They're Monday Burger deal beats Red doors burgers by a mile. Very moist and lots of toppings. Fries are also 10 times better. This is my new Monday burger place. Our server Harley was awesome.

Curbside pickup doesn't work. it's advertised and they have stalls but you'll sit for 5-10 minutes and have to go inside. When I went inside they said they don't bring food out. However, the stall signs say to text a number with your order name and stall number... Never experienced that anywhere before. Update: Food was absolutely awesome, just think they need to do away with the curbside option if it doesn't exist.

Great patio, with games like corn hole, and such fun atmosphere, service is a bit slow now sure if this is because there isn't enough workers or not. Enjoyable place to sit and get a drink on the weekend though would go again. Food was pretty good as well

We ordered the nachos. Fantastic but pretty pricey at 17 bucks if you want chicken or beef. Service was good until the end of our time there. No one came to check on us for the longest time and had to waive someone down to get our tab.

We had lunch here today. They have half pound burgers that are really good. Main dining area opens to a patio in good weather. Highly recommend.

It has a great atmosphere as it's a bar and grill and sports bar. However, I was expecting the food to be better since the burgers are half price on Mondays if you order a drink. My medium burger was well done and my onion rings were practically burned.

We sat on the patio and it was great! Today was a cooler than average July day, and it was awesome, but the patio's coverage would have been great on a hot sunny day! Lots of TVs! They have tarps they can lower for wind and sun blockage. Service was pretty good, drinks were okay and the food was very good.

Although windy sitting out on the patio with friends enjoying drinks & food was nice. Nachos were delish & the Austin Shady was refreshing. All servers we interacted with were nice!
