OMG! Who knew that a city girl would love me some oysters!!! These are so delicious from Bristol - Rappahannock Bristol Beauties. So good I ordered them twice! Seafood Mixed Grill - Salmon is not the star of the plate, but equally delicious. Crab cakes are sweet, meaty and you never have enough. Buttery potatoes, well-seasoned asparagus (that gets tastier every time I have it). Even made reservations...just for myself and I LOVED IT!

Nice semi upscale restaurant. Food was delivered hot and was good tasting overall. Fried shrimp were generous in size and taste leaned more to good than great. My waiter Coleman was outstanding in both service and friendliness. A definite credit to the restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back. Update. Another good dining experience today. I had the grilled seafood platter and it was delicious. Carrot cake was amazing.

The wife and I went here for our 19th wedding anniversary and we had a lovely time. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were excellent. We also received a complimentary dessert, carrot cake, that was very good. Thank you Bristol staff we had a marvelous time.

The food and service was great, and very quick. We ate here on Christmas Eve as our special holiday meal for just the 2 of us. We made a reservation online a few weeks in advance for a late lunch. We ordered off the fresh of the day menu, which was a choice of fish and 2 sides. I got Tuna (rare), with potatoes and lobster mac, and my partner got flounder with asparagus and risotto. The food came out very quickly and everything was very good, the tuna was my favorite. For dessert we ordered lava cake to share and coffee; the espresso martini was my favorite part of dessert. I was very tempted to go for another espresso martini. The atmosphere was pretty good; mid-day light from the windows was a bit harsh for some angles, but our server was able to take a great picture of us. The total cost for our everything for the 2 of us (lunch and dessert) was just at $100 before tip.

First the atmosphere was gorgeous; dark wood, soft lighting, a fireplace and it wasn't too loud. We were able to order a la carte and they kindly split the things we wanted to try between us. They respected our ask for mocktails and went above and beyond to make them look real. The food was the best. Best lobster bisque I've ever had - and I am picky. 10/10 stars if I could.

A special occasion kind of place. We reserved a private room and our server was fantastic. Drinks kept coming, and food was timely and delicious. The maple bacon old fashioned warmed us up as soon as we sat down. I also recommend the lemon shrimp pasta. The citrus broth made the dish feel light while filing. A few of us shared a bite of carrot cake at the end. It's rich so a bite is enough.

It was nice to enjoy the late lunch on their patio. I wish there was no customer next to the entrance smoking tho. But the food and service were great.

A few months back while watching the local news I was surprised that a local restaurant landed on the list of most romantic restaurants in America. Figuring it would be a hard reservation to get I secured one a few months out which would be our 1 year Anniversary. Pulling up to Bristol, I could see high-class! Very elegant building. The ambiance was just right inside. Our server Roxanne was delightful and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. Can't say enough about the Lobster bisque and the mixed grill platter! The wine 🍷 corkage fee was insanely reasonable! We will definitely be back!

Pleasantly surprised dinner, what made this a standout for me was the "Biscuits & butter" guy who just hustled all night long. Making sure everything was clean and in order. In addition, keeping everyone's table supplied with yummy biscuits 😋. The food was good, the cocktails well made. I will be back. My only concern is that it was loud a little difficult to have a conversation. But since we were stuffing ourselves with biscuits, all was fine 🙂

This was the first time dining here and I have nothing but high praise for this restaurant. Our server was extremely friendly and informative about the menu options, as well as very attentive. The ambiance was nice and subdued. We had both the filet and the swordfish. Cooked to absolute perfection. I can't recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a high quality dining experience and don't mind spending a bit, you should eat at Bristol as your next destination.

What can you say besides that whatever you order here will be fantastic. Starting with the amazing biscuits & oysters on the half shell into our entrees of crab cakes for me and the swordfish for my girlfriend, the whole experience was great. Definitely an older crowd from the clientele to the wait staff. I joked that it’s this way because they’re the only ones that can afford to eat here.😁

This place was amazing. From the calamari to the maple salmon. The service was awesome and it was our first time here and the server made us feel welcome. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Plus the carrot cake was to die for.

I’ve been to Bristol quite a few times and have had zero negative experiences, only positive ones. Great, fresh seafood. On weekends, you’ll definitely need a reservation, because it’s so busy. The swordfish is a great entree option here.

We celebrated our first anniversary in the restaurant. Thanks to my husband who surprises me on this very day. The foods are great especially the charcoal grilled mahi-mahi; it reminds me of our specialty food in my hometown in Cebu, Philippines. Thank you Bristol for making our anniversary lit.

It was a great experience. Nice place to celebrate birthday for your loved ones. The crab cake was delicious, the quantity was small in my opinion for that price. We wanted to order more but left it for next time. For the main course we got the seafood mixed grill plate and it was amazing. The sea food was so great and the waitress was very nice.

I hadn't been to the Bristol in years but I wanted to have a nice dinner and it came to mind. The restaurant did not disappoint! The food was stellar and the service impeccable. I had the seafood grill and every single item was cooked to perfection. The crab cakes are the best in the city, and I'm not sore I've ever had a tastier scallop, even on the coast. Very special place.

Delicious and surprising entrees. A fully doable cocktail and wine list. Solid service and a very beautiful atmosphere. Very snug and cozy, but somehow still also warmly bustling.

This place 👏👏👏 This was by far one of the best filthy vodka martinis I've had at any restaurant. The blue cheese olives appeared to be hand stuffed. We each ordered the surf and turf, one with salmon and one with crab cakes. The steak was done perfectly, and all the food was delicious. The service was efficient, kind, and friendly. We didn't feel rushed or like they needed our table. The upscale yet subdued atmosphere made it a great place for a quiet dinner. We could enjoy conversation without feeling like we couldn't hear each other. Great for a date night or business dinner.

Great place for fresh seafood in Kansas! The biscuits the staff bring to you are outstanding. They are crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle and are sweet. We had the lobster bisque and the seafood mixed grill. The bisque was delicious. It was smooth with a small spicy kick. The salmon, shrimp, scallops and crab cakes were excellent. Everything had its own distinct flavor instead of just tasting like each other, which happens at alot of other places because they cook everything together. The asparagus tasted like it was cooked over a wood grill and the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy.

Ordered via Uber Eats have done it in the past and the food is normally fantastic. This time I was served raw crabcakes when I called and spoke to the manager when I say he Couldn’t have cared less I mean it like seriously did not care. Told me to contact Uber. I wanted to let him know that their food is normally fantastic, but tonight they were serving raw crabcakes. That’s OK though I vote with my dollars and I won’t be voting for this restaurant anymore. Too bad normally it’s great but after this experience I’m done.

Had an amazing experience at Bristol. Husband surprised me for our anniversary. The food; from the biscuits, to the appetizers, to the main course...just absolutely delicious. Husband said he could eat a plate full of their steak and shrimp cocktail. I had the lobster with mashed potatoes and carrots, delicious! The service was phenomenal. It was very busy and our server, Aaron (I hope I spelled his name right) was so friendly and doing everything he could to keep us updated and taken care of while we waited. Totally understanding and well knowledgeable of the food items. He even wished us a happy anniversary and made our dessert a cute little display. I highly recommend Bristol to anyone, especially if you love seafood.

Pasta sauce was very fresh and light. Shrimp cooked just right. Carrot cake was boxed for eating at home. A witty watchful waiter that was respectful while we communicated in ASL then flawlessly took our orders.

Food is yummy but prices are to expensive for the portion size. $15 for 5 shrimp scampi is way overpriced especially for the lunch menu.

This last Friday I only had 20 minutes to spend at the bar! The service was fast and food is fantastic. I also enjoyed two warm biscuits tremendously! Who cares about calories as I only come here once a while!!!

I would give less than 1 star if I was able to. The service was horrible. My wife and I went to the Bristol in Leawood for her birthday on Oct 10, 2021 to have brunch. Everything was good until we had to wait 45min for our main course to come. Everyone around us had received there food and the couple with a baby that came in behind us had eaten and left and we still had not received our food. I asked our waiter and he said our food should be coming right up. After another 10min I asked for a manager and cancelled our order and told them how unsatisfied we were. The lady manager didn't seem to concerned that we were not happy about the service. The manager wrote down my wife name and said they would take care of her meal when we return. But my wife already had a birthday coupon for her birthday meal but oh well. Don't plan on going back anytime soon. I'm an engineer at T-Mobile across the street and have eaten at the location at least 20 times over the last 4 years but will not bring guest here any more.

Great place to celebrate my birthday. Had not been here in 15 years. Salmon and swordfish were succulent and prepared perfectly. Service was a bit slow and inattentive at times. Otherwise everything was super. Carrot cake is a meal by itself!

I'll give you the cradle to grave scoop. Made a Friday evening reservation the night before. Earliest time was 7:15. Took that for wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We got there about 7:05 and were seated at exactly 7:15. I know we are in a pandemic but you would have had no idea based on the number of people there. It was filled to the brim with a wait. I personally have no issue with it. The greeter wished us a lovely evening & Happy Anniversary - mind you we did not mention it! When we got to the table, there was a nice, personalized card stating the same! AND our waiter said the same! So, we were off to a great start. They immediately gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne to toast the evening - another nice touch. For starters - 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell that were a 4 star though they were a little on small side (very tasty but you are not in New Orleans). Also had fried calamari that I would rate a 3 star (just OK). Had the mixed green salad which was excellent. Moved on to the main course of surf and turf. We each had 6 oz filet. Mine was excellent (5 star). My wife got hers medium well and it was dried out (3 star). i kinda blame her for getting medium well! I had scallops and wife had the shrimp. Both 5 star. We topped off with a piece of carrot cake (5 star). Total bill around $200. *Keep in mind it is very hard to get an overall 5 star from me. Our overall experience was 4 star drivin by the recognition of the anniversary. Service/wait on the food was a little slow but understandable with the lack of workers/help caused by the pandemic. Ambience of the place is nice. Kinda darker and cozy. I did see a waiter grab a bill after a table of two left. He immediately opened it up to look at the tip. Right away he grumbled under his breath and I heard the word cheap A$$. We are living in tough times so I guess I understand the waiters reaction. BUT people should always know that others are watching and listening. Overall the food was good, not great, but good. The nice touch knowing our anniversary definitely gave it a lift. Not sure I would come here for anything other than a special occasion (I come here with business vendors that pick up the tab lol).

Atmosphere was great. We didn't care for our server but the food was wonderful as always. Not a very big brunch menu since covid 🙁.

I'm from Louisiana and miss the great seafood there, but I have to say this place is the best seafood (not Cajun style, but they don't pretend to be) that I've found away from home. They have a variety of seafood from around the country, which they have delivered daily, fresh not frozen. They must have an excellent buyer to know what to buy and how much. We LOVE this place. It's our "go to" for every special occasion! Highly recommended, never disappointing. Try the Seafood Mixed Grill!
